    I find the timing of such an episode perfect like these guys put some real thought in it you have the awesome supervillains which if people catch a glimpse of in the promos during other shows they don't have competition from the voice and people need like a week to adjust to DST so I hope to god the ratings stay steady or go up

    Actually I'm wondering if AOS was the victim of Nelson's efforts to more accurately report the viewing habits of young people this week. Starting a couple years ago they started putting boxes in college dorm rooms. In many universities throughout the country it's spring break. Meaning that these regular loyal viewers viewing may not be be factored in. I feel like this could skew the ratings a little bit, especially with a show that is so college student friendly.

    Daylights Savings Time + The Voice really screwed with a lot of shows Tuesday night so I'm not worried (final ratings were 1.5, which isn't bad). Next week, no new NCIS and The Voice is only an hour so I'm feeling a lot better about that.

    I'm not sure why you're referring to it as "animated", but anyway, Raina's face was hidden under her hood in the poster for that episode. We only saw yellow eyes and grey skin.

    Just like this poster, there was a poster showing the first episode from the break that was an animation poster and not a real one, such as this poster. It made Raina look amazing and how we saw Raina's look when her hood was off, it was nowhere near as awesome as she looked on that.

    Her hands, the spikes on her face, her eyes....they look drastically better on this poster.


    Hence why I say Cal won't end up looking like that in the show.

    I knew which poster you were referring to, but I'm still not sure why you're saying it's animated; it's a still picture, it doesn't move like a GIF image.
    Anyway - I think it's easier to make something cool in a drawing. In live action, be it TV or cinema, it has to look photo-realistic which is more difficult. Added to the time and budget constraints of TV, I think they did pretty well with Raina, but mileage varies obviously. I don't think there's going to be much of a difference with Cal, because he looks pretty much the same way in the poster as he has in the show so far; the poster just does a very good job of making him appear menacing, but his physical appearance is pretty much the same.

    It's just what I call them. Most likely an incorrect term, but it's like a comic book cover to me, and I just used the term "animated". But still, the point is that I just don't see Cal looking THAT great since Raina didn't.
