12 Monkeys - Divine Move - Advance Preview

12 Monkeys, “Divine Move,” is directed by Magnus Martens. The teleplay was written by Christopher Monfette based on a story by the creative team of Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett. The action takes place primarily in both 2015 and 2043. There are plenty of twists and turns, however, including some time bending of a different kind.

Ramse (Kirk Acevedo) is determined to keep his new found family together and safe, and that means doing everything he can to prevent Jones (Barbara Sukowa) from changing the past and erasing his present. Ramse meets with The Daughters – an all women group who blame men for the apocalypse. Ramse meets someone surprising with them who gives him a present.
Demore Barnes delivers an outstanding performance in this episode. He remains loyal to Jones, but we also see more of who he is.
Aaron (Noah Bean) and Cassie (Amanda Schull) are not particularly happy to see Cole (Aaron Stanford). Cole confides in Cassie that he’s afraid for what Ramse may be doing. Cassie realizes that Cole isn’t well and why and calls him on it. In chasing down a lead, Aaron comes face to face with someone surprising. Cassie almost crosses a line.

Here are some dialogue teasers:
“Death can be both cause and effect. No straight lines.”
“One person that you love. In the end, isn’t that all that matters?”
“Scotch doesn’t stop the apocalypse.”
“You have to trust me. I’m going to fix it.”
“Nothing stays the same.”
“Anything we do, even if we undo it, it happened, nonetheless.”

Remember this: Tokyo, November 21, 1987, The White Dragon.

This was another terrific, fast paced episode. The cinematography, sets, and locations really added to the drama. There are approximately six deaths in this episode. There’s also a pretty big twist at the end! Don’t forget to tune in March 20 on Syfy at 9/8c!

  1. I just looove all the bendy, twisty storylines. This show really has me hooked, so definitely looking forward to this episode!

  2. I'm impressed at how they've kept the quality and the tension going all season.

  3. Cassie wouldn't be happy to see Cole because in 2015 (after the explosion) see thought that they stopped the plague!

  4. Do you how many episode will we have on season 1 ?

  5. I wish more complex reaction from Cassie. Obviously, she's has let him go. Of course it's not like she's gonna throw herself at him in joy. Her number one priority is the plauge .Cole is here, so it's not over. But I wish a tiny part of her is like: Oh, I'm glad to see him again. But I'm a shipper, what can I say...

  6. I don't really have much ideas on the quotes. But these 2 quotes are quite interesting:

“One person that you love. In the end, isn’t that all that matters?” - I like this line because that's sort of what's going on with Jones, Ramse, and Cole. For Jones its her daughter, Ramse his son, Cole it's Cassie.
“Anything we do, even if we undo it, it happened, nonetheless.” - Someone on team time travel becoming a bit negative?

Remember this: Tokyo, November 21, 1987, The White Dragon. - Because of the next episode yes.

  11. It is a complex reaction - and her initial 'not glad to see you' is based on more than one reason...
