Thanks to RoR-El from the Spanish Walking Dead Wiki for the heads up.

"A member of the walking dead wiki page (user Villy8) found in a cable guide what looks like the title of the 13 episode of The Walking Dead. The guide is in spanish so the title is translated as "Olvida" that means "Forget" in english. The guide is from a major cable company in Spain so the title could be true."

  1. So "Forget" would be the title? Can they not think of more interesting episode names anymore? Season 4 had some very unimaginative episode names, and 5A.

  2. Remember to Forget.....See at I did there

  3. You really can't judge the title until you see the episode.

  4. So where does the official episode titles get posted first?

  5. Normally on the AMC Press site but sometimes they get released to cable / tv guides before.

  6. They connect. 5.12 is named "Remember", so 13 is "Forget", imagine that. And season 4 actually had titles that related to the comics often. I like when they nod to comics and volume names for the comics.

  7. I'm sure it's very meaningful to the episode but I just prefer episode titles that aren't just 1 word. It's fine if that's the recurring theme for a certain show's episode pattern - like Smallville and Revenge among others - but having just a word as an episode title isn't something I like personally. Like "A" for the season 4 finale - it had meaning, I know - but it's just a letter.

  8. I get the connections and I do like that, I just prefer longer episode names rather than just one word. I did like a few episode titles from season 4, and I love when they tie them to the comics, but yeah, I just personally prefer longer episode names.

  9. The beauty and the genius of TWD is that that title is BRILLIANT. It already resonates with all the themes they've been exploring this season. If you follow the show closely, that one word means so much. It takes a LOT more effort to come up with a one word title with that much weight and meaning. Few other shows could do it. I'm disappointed when they try too hard with a long one.

  10. I know exactly what every single episode title means to the episode, I understand what they say about the episodes. I follow the show closely. That's fine. I'm not disputing that the episode titles don't do that, I'm just merely stating my opinion that I prefer longer episode titles. They can do everything the same way with longer titles, for example Killer Within, they don't have to be long long, I'm just not a fan of the one-word titles. Having said that, there are a few I do like, but again, I just prefer when they're more than just one word.

  11. But the fact that it was just a letter *was* what gave it meaning...

  12. I do agree "made to suffer" "tell it to the frogs" I'm waiting for "all out war" and "a new world"

  13. It's just my opinion, I'm not arguing about the quality of the episode titles, I just prefer them longer.

  14. I said it had meaning but I just didn't like "A" as an episode title. Just my opinion...

  15. Forget as in, forget that Maggie cares about her sister Beth which they only remembered about until recently, forget about that forgiving moment Carol and Tyrese shared together, which they could've played on further after Tyrese's death. Forget seems to be a good theme in The Walking Dead to finally use as a title.

  16. Who cares about episode names?? I think theyre all great but titles are titles, its the actual episode that matters.

  17. Lots of people are interested in episode titles. Over 5000 people have read this article already

  18. People prefer Episode Titles in different ways. The facts that "it's just a letter" doesn't matter. It's the relevance to the episode that matters. Many people were complaining how "What Happened and What's Going On" was a terrible title before they watched the episode.

  19. It doesn't matter to you, but it matters to me. As I've said a few times, I prefer episode titles that are longer. Just a preference as I'm sure you have yours. I still really don't like that episode title for "What Happened and What's Going On" either, but I see how it fit with the episode. I make databases for TV shows so I just prefer to see longer titles, even if it's longer by just one word, that's fine. But I think they could have used so many different titles other than 'Forget' to get the symbolism of the episode across. But I reiterate, this is just my preference, it doesn't have to be yours.

  21. I agree with you bud, I'm still waiting for an episode with the title of a volume or something more imaginative.
