Thanks to Jess for the heads up.

SOME LIKE IT HOT — While preparing for battle, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa (guest star Alycia Debnam Carey) have a heated discussion. Desperate for help, Raven (Lindsey Morgan) has Wick (guest star Steve Talley) summoned to the engineering room.

Jaha (Isaiah Washington) and Murphy (guest star Richard Harmon) encounter a perilous roadblock. Meanwhile, at Mount Weather, Bellamy (Bob Morley) is in a race against time. Marie Avgeropoulos also stars.

Uta Briesewitz directed the episode written by Kim Shumway (#214). Original airdate 2/25/2015.

  1. That is probably the most generic CW synopsis I've ever seen. That gives away absoluetly nothing, lol.

  2. yeh, that heated discussion could describe every episode between the pair. But I've seen worse descriptions. I remember breaking bad's final season descriptions.

  3. Doesn't really tell us anything except that Wick is back! Awesome! I love him.

  4. Wick is back, excellent news! And finally Murphy and Jaha again, also awesome - the dynamic of those two is really great. Lexa, I don't care at all.

  5. WICK! Yessssssssssssssssssssss finally!

  6. "Marie Avgeropoulos also stars." If they only mention Marie, does this mean no Abby, Monty, or Jasper in the episode? Their absences wouldn't really bother me, just curious.

  7. Unfortunately Yes. They don't show all the casts in one episode.
I hope they do for the finale.

I've clearly been spending too much time in the fandom because "heated iscusion" immediately sounded like a euphemism to me.

  9. I really like Lexa's character and love her tension with Clarke. I'll be sad if they kill her character off but I think it's inevitable as the actress has another gig on TWD spin-off (which is great news). I'm thinking her spirit will either travel into Clarke or Octavia (both are slightly predictable though not sure which). I think Octavia leading the grounders is too soon; her character is very immature and lacks wisdom. Mind you seeing Octavia struggle to lead might be entertaining to watch. Clarke is too righteous for me and I wouldn't want to see her lead the grounders as well as pseudo lead the sky people.

  11. So no mentioning of Abby or Kane :( hope the missile is not the reason

  12. I started watching the show couple of weeks ago and I finally caught up yesterday.
I get the whole buzz surrounding it now.Very, very good.

My view of the characters changed pretty much at every episode.Kudos to the writers.
I mean, when I watched the first episode,I never thought I'd be interested in Murphy's character and yet here we are (although,to be fair,I've never read through comments,so I could be the only one).

  13. I really hope Clarke Lexa & co are outside Mt.Weather entrances atleast by the end of this episode. I'm a little worried about 12-14 dragging out the conflict for the two part finale but we'll probably get some good stuff. They haven't disappointed thus far... Also even if the actor isn't mentioned in the synopsis it doesn't guarantee they aren't in the episode (they've made mistakes in the synopsis before).... so don't worry I'm pretty sure from here on out we'll see everyone each episode beside Jaha/Murphy storyline

  14. Well, we know that Wick is back (thank god finally) and that Bellamy is still stuck in Mt Weather. That can't be good I think.

  15. Jason Rotherberg said most of the main cast has to miss 3 or 4 episode a seasons. If they're not in it, that's why. Only the Blake siblings and Clarke are in every episode.

  16. If it's either of those two, I see it being Octavia. Because I think the writers would enjoy having those two butting heads. I'd pick her too, because I agree with you not wanting Clarke leading both groups. Plus I think it would be a great route to go with Octavia's character, she hasn't had as much to do this season as I'd hope she would, but what they have done is great!!

  17. I know they often have one or two missing, I just find it odd that with Bellamy still in Mount Weather there wouldn't even be a small scene showing Jasper and/or Monty. Unless they manage to get out before this episode and Bellamy doesn't.

  18. Uta Briesewitz is it her first time directing?

  19. You're not the only one whose become interested in Murphy's development. Last week on tumblr was John Murphy Appreciation Week. I hated him in S1 but the writers have talked about how they intentionally humanized (but not redeemed) him. It worked for me. I now find him fascinating, though not someone I'm necessarily rooting for.
