No Derek AGAIN! At least I was lucky enough to catch wind of the Canadian airing and discover that Derek was once again missing from the episode, so I did not have to waste an hour of my life watching this crap! No Derek = No MerDer and no MerDer in any episode = an automatic failure! I will be back when Derek returns....probably in episode 16. April and Jackson's baby story is sad and all but for the life of me these characters and actors cannot make me feel anything at all! The writers have turned Meredith into such a selfish witch! These episodes are all around just awful!
Amazing episode. Jesse and Sarah were brilliant. When they cried, I cried. When they were in denial, so was I. I hated this storyline for Japril, as they are my OTP, but it was done wonderfully. Another moment I have to mention, this one becaus I loved it - Owen and Amelia in that last scene! OMG, they would be a great couple.
The title was appropriately named, cause all I did was cry, this show is unbelievably still amazing after eleven seasons I was crying from beginning till the ending, i do miss Derick even if all he and Meridith fought all the time, April and Jackson's scenes were beautifully done, who ever is there music director, outstanding with every scene the show still nails it each episode!!!!
You know I don't even watch this show much any more I have missed entire seasons but I was curious about this episode and I saw everyone on here's comments. And I have to say damn that was heartbreaking and so well done. I knew about the baby being ill and not likely to survive plot line but damn that execution of the story and the actors played this heartbreaking scenario so well. How could you not tear up?
This is why Grey's is still kicking ass and taking names 11 seasons in. That was absolutely heartbreaking and so beautiful. Amazing. "Awesome" doesn't begin to cover it.
Oh this was so heartbreaking! I really felt for them. The moment with Amelia and Owen at the end was also so beautiful! Ugh! How does Grey's still make me cry after all these years!
"All i could do was cry" surly every time jackson and april was onscreen i was crying and all those flashbacks makes me cry harder (cry)(cry). And finally april decided to let go was really nice.
This was amazing. Grey's still brings it after 11 years, it's unbelievable! Loved April and Jackson's storyline and the way it was played out, both actors gave their best performances in the show I feel. And Amelia is one of my favorite characters ever in the Shonda universe, so I am glad she is being more developed now. I want to see her connect with April and I am all up for her and Owen, that last scene was amazing.
Because it was. Rational people don't behave irrationally. You don't talk to yourself on a chapel because you're having a tough time. That can only happen on fiction. And when it does, it's bad fiction. No rational person would even attempt to pray because they simply know they're talking to themselves. There's no doubt to a rational person. These episode showed most of the main characters behaving irrationally. They're all christians all of a sudden? They're doctors. They cannot be christian. If they believe in a god, then they don't need medicine. At all.
About that - I wonder if her next journey is crisis of faith - which was heavily hinted at in this episode - exploring this possibility sounds intriguing to me.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Well, the title was definitely accurate because damn. I was crying two minutes after the episode started.
ReplyDeleteGlad Amelia's son was finally brought up and hopefully she'll be there to support April and Jackson.
So sad!

ReplyDeleteThis episode was beautifully done. The acting was amazing. More episodes like this should improve ratings dramatically.

ReplyDeletea BIG FUCK YOU! To those 47 that voted "awfull" c'mon.
ReplyDeleteAmazing. episode was amazing
I really wish Amelia was the one who talked April instead of that random Wendy person.
ReplyDeleteI guess people still hate April.
ReplyDeleteNever a title was a better fit that this... I cried almost through the whole episode
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode
and to address this theme!
ReplyDeleteI normally don't venture in Greys spoilers and discussions, but after this episode I needed to.
Which is crazy, because her character is so interesting. She is so unlike me, I find it fascinating!
