The start was awesome, fellow citizens of Central City thanked "Flash", I'm glad for him.
Lol, at Cisco's remark, "how can you speak six languages and sound like a dick in all of them", that was awesome!
Hahaha, I cook and I clean and I help you - Oh Caitlin, sounds like a nice life and Barry has Netflix :)
Peek A Boo was great, loved her lines to Barry "not many men can keep up with me", her powers were so cool, but her boyfriend seemed like he was using her.
The Dark Matter merging Dr. Stein and Ronnie together was visually cool but I knew Hartley would double cross him with those evil hearing aids, never thought I'd say that lol.
Lol, Grant's singing was great with their 'Summer Lovin" karoke and Caitlins was entertaining. Nice to see Malese Jow again. Ok, drunk Caitlin is so funny, "did you take a peek at my boobs" lol.
Poor Barry's Dad :( He's such a great dad, just wanting to be their for Barry.
Ok, Peek a Boo vs Flash looked great, her teleporting was really well done, like smoke. When Barry ran over the car, what an awesome visual! WoW!
Nice ending with Barry and his father :) Damn, Gorilla Grood strikes again!
Am I the only one who finds Iris West is starting to get really, really annoying on top of being irrelevant to the story. On the flip side, Caitlin is awesome, good to see her getting more screen time.
I thought this was one of the strongest episodes so far I really liked the fact that citizens of central city know who he is. The villain was ok I thought it could have been more detailed but the thing that I thought made this episode was seeing Barry and Caitlin connect although we see them together in every episode this episode showed their friendship very well. I really like Linda so far! Also that Grood teaser was cool. Can't wait for next week!!
It was really great! Firestorm, badass Cisco, Barry/Henry scenes, the Barry/Caitlin friendship, DRUNK Caitlin was awesome, loved Linda, Grood and did i said FIRESTORM?!
I totally forgot Grant Gustin was on Glee until I saw this episode. Never heard him before, but the guy can sing. His friendship with Caitlin is much better than with Iris. Great episode. Loved the moment his dad told him he was proud of him being The Flash.
OMG, when she said, "Did you take a peek at my good stuff?" I had to Facepalm. Lol She should never say that again, even when she's sober. LOL oh Caitlin.
Jesus! WTF! I've been trying to post my comment since 9pm. Why the site wasdown for so long was beyond me and irritating. But w/e finally!! Okkkk......
This was a real fun episode, nicely paced, it had it's fun moments, and it's serious moments, and it just flowed nicely. I enjoyed everything. First thing I want to say is, Peek-A-Boo is awesome! AND did anybody think of Katherine when Peek-A-Boo was breaking in the prison to get her BF out?? Hahahaha Katherine was my first thought. Now if you did think of Katherine, congrats. If you didn't, and you have to ask, "what about Katherine?" Then your VD history is on the fritz and I suggest you pop in some DVDs and brush up. And NO I won't be telling you the answer to your question. That's what you get for not remembering. LOL shame on you!! Ok moving on.
-I absolutely loved the beginning when Barry saved the civilians and they said, "Thank you Flash." That was epic, my feels were all over the place. And when Joe made arrangements to see Henry, that was really sweet. I enjoyed all their scenes, Barry, Joe, and Henry, it was really nice seeing all 3 of them together. I adore their relationships, as they make the show for me.
-Cisco was great. I liked how he fought off Hartley. Didn't he take martial arts? I forgot about that. He had some nice moves. And I'm glad he finally told Caitlin about Ronnie. I thought she would cry, and probably hit him, but she just understood, I know that must've been really hard for her. And oh boy, let's talk about Caitlin. Haha...
-Caitlin, Caitlin, Caitlin. That girl cannot carry a tune to save her life. Tone deaf and drunk is a terrible combination. Lmaooo But I love Summer Lovin" (Arrow cast video anyone?) And Grease, and that was a nice song they picked. Grant I've always loved your voice, very nice, I did miss it. And how cute are you?? Caitlin had me laughing, with her drunkness. Good for her having some fun. I knew she'd ask Barry to stay with her til she fell asleep. And I KNEW they'd laugh about it the next day. They're friends. I mean seriously, who hasn't gone through that? Guys and girls alike? If there's a close friendship bond and REAL trust. Then it's never a big deal. Barry was a true gentleman, like we all know him to be. I can't count how many times my guy friends have helped me in that situation. LOL man I love my guy friends. Ok off me, moving on. Lol Anyways, that was funny. And go Caitlin for dressing nicely, though I think it was a tad too much. Supposed to be playing it cool girl, not laying it on thick. Lol smh poor thing. Barry's Blinddddd to your affections.
-Iris. Very little Iris, I didn't like that. But shit!! Now she has a picture!!! Ugh!! I want to see more of her reaction to Barry and Linda. But oh boy is that coming up. And my shipper feels will go into OVERDRIVE!!!
-And OMG!!! THE LAST SCENE!!!! HE KNOWS AND IT WAS SUPER SWEET AND TOUCHING!!! I loved how Barry tried to play it off. But the parents always know!! I loved it. I think that was my favorite scene of the night!!! And Grodd!!! GAH!! What is this show doing to me??!! I'm not complaining. Lmao Great episode. Fun fun fun.
That was awesome. I loved Britne Oldford in Ravenswood. She was great here too as Peek-a-Boo. Loved her and the fight scenes with her. I miss TTP. Where have I seen her douchebag of a boyfriend?
Cisco letting Hartley out and their fight. Cisco have some moves!! I knew Hartley would get away. The FIRESTORM merge was really cool. They somehow make all these outlandish themes believable when they explain it on this show. Can't wait for Ronnie to be back.
The whole Karaoke and drunk Caitlin was hilarious. LOL. Aww. We got to hear Grant sing so less. The scenes from Caitlin's home was just fun. I still don't think Caitlin or Barry has any feelings for each other. But their scenes are done in an ambiguous way. I am not a fan of this.
Linda Park was lots of fun. She seems to be smart and confident. Little bit of jealousy or confusion from Iris. Iris is back to being okay with The Flash??? I am a bit upset they didn't have any conversation about the way they left things last time.
I loved every scene Barry had with his dad. The senior guys are killing it in this show. Joe, Henry and Harrison are the best things after Barry Allen.
Eddie just had a token appearance. They need to do something with this guy.
Over all a way more entertaining episode than the last one. Peek-a-Boo was a worth opponent to Scarlet Speedster. Loved seeing Henry.
Nice episode, Barry and Caitlin scenes were great, I liked them. Glad Henry Allen pretty much knows his son is the Flash. Peek A Boo lol a funny name. She has a reasonable weakness so that's cool. I wonder tho how long do they plan to keep the meta humans down there? can't be forever right. Cisco side plot was nice, I would actually like Hartley if he wasn't so resentful to his former friend/colleague, I mean he didn't have to kick Cisco simply escaping with an ear attack would of been fine. But the Firestorm finding seems interesting, look forward to the outcome.
Also bit disappointed we didn't see much action between Barry and his date. Hope that aspect of his life is serial and we see it in the coming weeks.
I'm not a fan of it either. I didn't notice anything until maybe the winter finale. But from Caitlin's side. All I see is a friendship nothing else. And this episode really sealed that for me. I know the Baitlin shippers were happy with this bone that was thrown. So good for them. At least they had fun with it. But Barry is not interested. I am interested to see how he acts with Linda though. But iIdt that'll go on for long either. He's totally Iris's. Aww man. I want to see her freak out so bad. LOL It's gonna be so much fun. One thing I didn't like about Iris tonight was her facial reaction when Barry said he wasn't there to see her. She was all, "oh why not?" About it. It came off cocky and the head jerk didn't help. I didn't like that. Best friend or not, that just felt OOC for her. I'd like to see more scenes between Henry and Barry, and I wish the karaoke scene could've been longer.
LOL!! CTFU!!! You cracked me up. IDT she's ready to be clear about it, nor is she clear about it to herself. I don't really care. There is no "lane" we know his lane. It's not a fork, it's a one way street. That's what's so funny. I see what you see. As iI can also see why people see something else. Omggggg that line, "I need To find someone else to be crazy about." And the most eye roll worthy line award goes to....... Whoa boy. I wish iI could say the same about Iris, but iI didn't get "surprised and taken Aback" with that expression. Not in the least bit. She just came off as Hot shit and it bugged me.,Well that's what I saw. We all see something different. IDT they "skipped over the Flash/Iris convo" I think they're holding it for another episode. I don't see them not talking about it, as if it didn't happen. Way I figure it, it just wouldn't have fit in. Maybe next week? I'm looking forward to that too, but it didn't bother me that it didn't happen tonight.
I am not a fan of teasing. Just pick a lane and go with it. If Caitlin has feelings for Barry it's fine. But be clear about it. This ambiguous shit is annoying. All I see is friendship between them. But I can see why someone else would see their interactions especially the last scene where Caitlin said "I need to find someone else to be crazy about" as her having feelings for Barry.
One good thing is that they have shown Barry to only have feelings for Iris. I didn't mind her facial reaction in that scene. She was surprised and taken aback. That was that. What I want for Iris is to tone down the "Aww shucks. That is so sweet Barry dialogues." Every episode we get one of those. I am just pissed they just glossed over the falling out between Iris and The Flash. They needed to talk about that before him giving her the file.
I want to hear Grant sing more. I loved him in Glee.
Okay FLASH episode discussion here----- Okay over all not a bad episode.
It was nice seeing Remy from Ravenswood again. Miss that show. Though did not like how she was a bad girl involved with a worse boyfriend. But that's okay still nice to see her.
It was great seeing Berry loosen up and have some fun. I have to say that after this episode I'm leaning more towards Catlin and Berry then Berry and Iris. Catlin really does value their friendship and only wants the best for him. Iris seems to only really talk to him when she needs a pick-me-up. She has a bad day, talks to him, then goes back to her boyfriend. Kind of gives Berry mixed signals. So yeah, guess I'm now on the Catlin/Berry bandwagon. lol happy emoticon
Wasn't took keen on the Piped Piper last week and still hate him this week. Can not believe he got away as that means more of him and his annoying rich crybaby better then you crap. frown emoticon
Last but not lest, I looked so forward to seeing the karaoke that I was highly disappointed when it lasted all of .ooo1 seconds. I mean I knew Grant was on Glee which told me he could sing plus with all the promotional stuff I was over excided for it. Then too be cut the way it was made me really angry as that's the second show in two weeks that promoted karaoke and showed very very little of it. frown emoticon
Oh I also loved how Berry's dad knows he's the Flash and that Berry knows his dad knows (though nether one denied nor confirmed it), though his dad did say he was proud of him. I think that was one of the best part of the whole episode (the other was Berry taking care of Catlin after their night at the bar).
i really didn't think we'd see him, hear him sure but not get a glimpse of him, do you think he could become a Big Bad? think about that a talking gorilla as the villain of a season
I like Iris. I don't see anything annoying about her. They just don't give her enough screentime. This episode was bound to provoke ship wars, with people taking sides, though.
The opening moments with the couple acknowledging The Flash and thanking him for saving them made me so damn happy! What a badass moment for Barry that the Central City residents are starting to accept him as their hero :)
Barry and Caitlin going out to the bar, having drinks (mainly Caitlin) and doing karaoke was the highlight of the episode for me. Also, "Summer Nights" is the perfect song choice haha "Did you sneak a peek at my goods?" "You deserve a little peek for all the good stuff that you do" Oh my god, Caitlin is so me XD You just gotta love her. Drunk Caitlin FTW!
WOW, I have never seen Malese Jow before The Flash but I gotta say she is one smoking lady from what we've seen so far! So looking forward to seeing the cutie Linda Park again. Barry is gonna have a lot of fun with her ;) haha. He deserves it. Also, that was one awkward introduction between Linda and Iris at the end there. Looks like Iris is a little bit envious of her.
So great to see Henry again! I really missed him from the past couple of episodes so it was nice that he had some scenes in this episode. Awww, another Barry/Henry emotional prison scene. Loved that Henry told Barry that if his son was The Flash, he would have told him to be careful and that he's a hero and he's proud of him.
Peek-a-boo was a pretty tough match for Barry! And was anyone else getting some serious TTP vibes whenever she was teleporting? Haha that's all I could think about whenever she was using her powers. I kinda felt bad for her when Clay left her suddenly alone to be taken away to The Pipeline.
Poor Cisco :( He was just obsessing over the guilt that he sealed Ronnie inside the chamber and wanted to get help from anyone, even if it's from Hartley to try and find him. And yay to them finally finding out that dark matter had merged Martin Stein and Ronnie together! Next week: Firestorm!
Another Gorilla Grodd sighting! I really wonder when his big introduction is gonna be. All I know is that the fight scenes between him and Barry are gonna be epic. I AM GRODD!
Hahahaha, and as I said in my comment. I will not answer it. Time to break out the dvds. Lol You will stay confused til someone answers you, b/c it won't be me. ; )
Lmaoooo!! Yeah if you did it once, I might've let it slide, but way too many times, I had to say something. LOL I'm glad you fixed it. He's a person not a fruit. Hahahahaha = )
I saw this coming from a mile, especially after the Iris pile-on last week. Basically, all it took was giving her more screentime and the hint of another possible ship, for people to just turn completely against her character. This thread, in particular, is definitely heading for major ship-warring territory (or perhaps Iris fans will just be turned off an go to another site). It sucks for fans of Iris who have been waiting for her character to have her own story....because now practically every discussion about her is going to revolve around all the naysayers. If the writers keep fueling these kinds of ship wars, they're going to lose viewers. I need to stop watching CW shows.
The dressing scene was hilarious and Caitlin's stunned look at finding herself in pajamas was just classic. Probably the funniest part of the drunken night.
Awesome episode, Barry finally has a girlfriend and even Iris might be jealous about it. That scene with Caitlin and Barry dressing her was hilarious. And Gorilla Grodd, that was and awesome surprise.
Ya it's pretty much one already but again how long can you keep people there. There has to be some oh have u learned ur lession? Yea? Ok you are free to go with a tracker. If they don't plant to release them that means most will escape in the future because power world. And also if they don't plan to release why even alive. Things like that need to be talked about in show like the long run for them.
Also Cisco is a guy, who knows his fiction be it comic book movies or whatever. Guys like that try and use what they seen or read in real life tactic when ever given chance. A every one know how to fight I Feel like those that those that don't feel something that holds them back. Now skilled fighting is different.
I feel like a broken record every week saying "awesome episode. I loved it" so unless I say otherwise just assume that's how I wanted to start my comment lol
The first scene was so beautiful my eyes teared a little. When that guy said "thank you, Flash" I was so proud of our hero.
Barry's scenes with his fathers kill me every week. They are my favourite. I felt so bad for Henry, he was feeling useless and wanted to help. I can't imagine how he must be feeling. Angry Barry breaking out that guy from jail was funny and awesome. Henry and The Flash: I'm so happy that Henry knows and OMG that scene made me cry like a baby. Seriously I would watch a show just about Barry and his two fathers. Their scenes are gold. And even some of Barry's scenes with Wells are heartwarming. Grant is really talented.
Westallen: the scene at Jitters when he told her that he will help her and she held his hand was so awwww. I love them so much. And the last scene with Linda, Iris was definitely confused and a little jealous and was upset that Barry blew her off and left with Linda. Iris and the Scarlet Speedster: I love their scenes it just screams chemistry and I love how flirty Barry is. I was surprised that she took his picture, hope she really looks at it and realizes that it's Barry. And I wanted them to acknowledge the fact that they had a falling out.
Cisco and Hartley: Cisco was a bada**. I'm really impressed, the boy has some moves lol. But, they still haven't taken those weird stuff out of Hartley's ears? Really? And the merging of FIRESTORM visuals were really cool but were Cisco and Hartley at Barry's lab? Does he know who Barry is?
Snowbarry: Their scenes were cute and funny (I missed hearing Grant sing) but I'm not getting any romantic feelings from them. They are good friends and that's it but the writers are clearly playing both fields. The last scene when she told him that Ronnie merged with Stein and he is gone and it's time to find someone else to be crazy about, that's it? she is going to move on from Ronnie? And she is being so happy and smiley about it? That scene was so for the Snowbarry fans.
Metahuman Bonnie and Clyde: It's weird that I was actually rooting for them a little, well until he left her lol Peek-a-Boo was a good villain, hope she comes back. And Barry jumping on the car and breaking the headlights was really well done. Barry catching that bullet was a "whoa" moment it almost got him!!
Linda and Barry: We didn't see much of them but they are cute together.
Cisco and Caitlin: Poor Cisco, I felt really bad or him. It must've been very hard for him felling he was the one who killed Ronnie, glad that Caitlin told him that it wasn't his fault and that Ronnie would say that Cisco made the right choice. "Are you mad I can't tell with those glasses?" hahaha
In the comics Linda Park was girlfriend and later wife of Wally West (aka Kid Flash, then Flash after Barry died) and they seem to be merging a lot of Wally and Barry Flash mythology so it's possible the Linda relationship will continue for a while at least... who knows. Considering the way they're have Iris treat Barry, they may have Barry wind up with Linda.
Every episode Barry says something supportive to Iris and then she would say. Aww. That is so sweet of you Barry like he is some puppy waiting for treats. It was cute the first few times. Thank god there is a change in dynamics now.
Can't blame the audience. The EPs are doing this on purpose. They could have kept Caitlin on the friend side permanently instead they made their scenes ambiguous and open to interpretation. They don't realize in their plan to create buzz they will do more harm than good in the fandoms.
Yeah but how did they explain their presence there? It's not like they can just waltz in there without Barry! And the fact that Hartley knew that they can go there makes me think that he knows for sure.
I saw, aside from the whole killer thing it was kinda cute lol
That's true it does happen a lot and Barry feels like a puppy following her around sometimes but to be fair Iris is also very supportive of him, the main reason she was obsessed with The Flash in the first place was to help Barry. I agree about the change in their dynamic, glad that something else is grabbing his attention now, let the green-eyed monster show itself, muahahahaha
We need to see more of her job. Her going places to get info etc. I hope we will get this in the coming episodes. Also there needs to be a shake up in her relationship with Eddie. It might give Eddie something to do. He is so under utilized.
Another excellent episode-Barry caitlin chemistry is off the charts & any scene between henry & barry is pure gold.I'm in love with all these characters.Such a great show!
Yeah i know. (about the comics i mean, used to read them) Still don't think it'll be a long term thing. I think it'll be short. But not brief. But she looks fun. So it'll be fun to watch.
Yeah I went back and watched it, you're right. Also she was covering the news about the accelerator but in 1x12 she works in the sports section. I guess it was just an Easter egg in the Pilot but they decided to use her.
Umm, "Girlfriend"?? They only went out to lunch. LOL Let's wait til they use the G word, before you start throwing it about. I'd give it at least 10 more dates or so. (if they can get that many with his side activities)
"Hey my hopes are high for this one" yeah i see, you're about ready to marry them off. LOL Relax, calm down. Let's see how their dates actually go. Wouldn't want you to pop a vessel. smh. ; )
Wait a second i'm hoping for a girlfriend is only because i like this actress and i want to see he more. I never stated that i wanted them to become so involved just yet, just that i want to see her more on the series.
You can still see more of her w/o her being Barry's "Girlfriend". That doesn't make any sense. Just by you stating you want her to be a "girlfriend" so she can be in the show, IS stating that you want her to be so involved with Barry, B/C you want her to be in the series. Get it?
She's a main character in the DCU. So they go on a few dates, and they move on. That really doesn't mean she's going to be leaving, b/c they "break it off". She could have a lot more SL than just that, despite what they cast her as. It happens all the time. I mean hell, take Felicity for example...Just wait and see.
First let me remind you something that i see you don't get from my statements, CW makes a lot of changes to the stories behind DC's characters so some characters might be main in the DC universe, but in the series they may come only for an episode or two. And second yes i will wait, but hey there is a saying "Hope, dies last!" so yeah i might have called her "Girlfriend" prematurely, but hey i like her and i hope i see her more.
Well yeah, but they casted her as a new character and a love interest for Barry, if he moves on i don't know how long will we see her in the series. After all her character is sports journalist.
Yes, it's like the writers don't want to spend time writing interesting dialogue or stories for Iris, so they just have her smiling and being a supportive friend and daughter. It frustrates me, because I like the actress and want to see more done with her character than being the love interest, or acting starstruck in presence of Flash. The partnership between her and the senior journalist aslo has the potential to be interesting.
yup, but they wont do that. So all that leaves with is escape at some point or release at some point. if neither, then they are wasting a lot on feeding them with no income coming in like before, besides his former richness.
I knowwww they make changes. That's not my point. What I'm saying is, they're not gonna write her in as a "New Character" just to get rid of her in 5 or so episodes. This isn't TVD. You're worrying too much. Mostly the characters that have been shown are still around (not shown as much but still in the show). Wanting her to stick around B/c you like the actress is understandable. Wanting her to stick around for one reason and one reason only, just b/c you're paranoid to think she'll only be in 3 Episodes, is another. When i I said "short" I wasn't talking 3-5 episodes. I can see her going into the next season. It's like Lois in Smallville, when she first came on the scene she wasn't in every single episode, they spaced her out...a lot. But she was still apart of the series. Not to compare Linda to Lois b/c they're not even in the same league, but the point is still the same. I like Malese too, don't get me wrong. But i'm Not pushing for this "relationship" just to make her relevant to the series. That's a bit silly. Her character can have a lot more growth than that. And i think it will. That's what I'm saying.
I think that Felicity has definitely taken Laurel's place as the main female character especially in the eyes of fans. I think that the writers are finally trying to make Laurel's character a little more relevant, but in some ways, the damage has already been done. At the same time, I don't think that anyone expected this to happen with Felicity. She was a minor character, but her portrayal by the actress, basically took the writers by surprise. I think the role of Caitlin seems to be more calculated on the part of the writers,
They need to immediately break Iris and Eddie up , then show us Iris investigating to get her stories and impress her bosses. Don't let just Flash give the information to her. I know it's only one episode since she got the job but I think right now they need to work on Iris and Eddie the most among the regular characters. As more and more episode passes by people will loose every interest in her.
No not from ivan. It's because you said that the scene reminded you of her so I thought you meant what she was doing in the scene. Now I have no idea what you meant. To quote the wise Phoebe Buffay "I might be losing interest in this" lol
I think you underestimate Flash and Iris fandom. The westallen and Iris fandom are huge. During the midseason premiere I commented Iris's scene of running into the crime scene was unnecessary and didn't fit. A lot of Iris fans came defending her and they were relentless. Also another thing here is we have Geoff Johns as the EP. He would not let Iris not be the leading lady. But the problem with Flash is there is not many normal people here. Caitlin, Cisco and Eddie will become costumed heroes. Joe and Iris only will be the normal people. Joe already has a well established relationship with Barry and also the actor is terrific. Now they need to build more dimensions into Barry/Iris relationship soon. People always like to see costumed heroes more than normal people.
I tend to stick almost entirely to this site, so maybe that's why I don't see it as much. So I'll take your word for it! I agree about people's tendency to like the costumed heroes. However, I also think that Smallville did a decent job with the character development of their female non-superhero character, like Chloe, Lana and Lois. Arrow/Flash franchise seems to struggle more in that regard (especially with the females). I think they lucked out with Felicity because the role was not really defined and Emily surprised them by interpreting it in her own way.
I think they simply don't like writing for characters who is not a part of the main villain of the said episode. That's why Joe always gets development and screen time where as Eddie and Iris remains unfleshed. It's also because Arrow and Flash concentrate more on action scenes than Smallville. It was more about character development than the freak of the weak. As long as Iris and Eddie are outside of Barry's mission they are crippled. Felicity was accepted because of EBR's charm and also because from the first scene onwards she is in on the thick of things happening. She was the first one who got clued in on undertaking before even Oliver. That gave the character power.
Yes (Waves back), Loved Ravenswood, though I think most thought it was stupid. And yes she was one of the best things about that show. I really liked Caleb and Miranda too. I think those three together made that show. Too bad they pulled it without much of an ending (and yes that includes that lame ass wrap up on PPL). And now I wont see Caleb and Miranda get together. (sad face)
It took some time to get to speed but Ravenswood had lot of potential. I had never seen PLL. I went into it with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
I've tried watching PLL 3 different times and I just can't get into it, it's just too slow. Plus I know there's like 14 or so books in the series and the author still hasn't reveled who A is. I figure if she hasn't said then they are never going to say on the show so why watch?
I just saw one episode and let it go. Not my cup of tea. I don't like long drawn out mysteries. That is why I stopped watching Blacklist live and decided to binge watch it.
This episode was pure gold. I really feel like Grant Gustin should get some recognition for his portrayal of Barry. He has created one of the most lovable easy going characters around and he is insanely compelling both in his funny moments (all the Caitlin scenes) and the heart-breaking scenes (the scene with his dad at the end killed me).
Also, I simply adored everything Caitlin-Barry. I am not a shipper at all and I would probably even prefer if they were to stay as friends but I adored their friendship in this episode, it was so amazing. The scenes in which she was drunk were funny as hell and the ones they were talking about getting back out there were very compelling and felt honest!
right?! and Caleb WAS falling in love with Miranda and no one can deny that (they were amazing and i needed thm together SO BADLY!!!), and now that he's back on pll the actor has to make those feelings like they never existed
I know. I don't even watch PLL very often but when I do and I see Hana and Caleb together I want to gag. I mean all I ever see is her using him for his computer skills. I really don't see this epic love thing that they are supposed to have. I don't know I just think that him and Miranda really hit it off right from the start and just got a long so well. Where as him and Hanna just gripped back and forth while she paid him to hack into the blind lady's phone. She kind of thought he was beneath her because he came from the other side of the tracks so to speak. Miranda never judged him that way.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Caitlin and Barry were so funny, that was amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe start was awesome, fellow citizens of Central City thanked "Flash", I'm glad for him.
ReplyDeleteLol, at Cisco's remark, "how can you speak six languages and sound like a dick in all of them", that was awesome!
GRODD!!!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who finds Iris West is starting to get really, really annoying on top of being irrelevant to the story. On the flip side, Caitlin is awesome, good to see her getting more screen time.
ReplyDeleteI thought this was one of the strongest episodes so far I really liked the fact that citizens of central city know who he is. The villain was ok I thought it could have been more detailed but the thing that I thought made this episode was seeing Barry and Caitlin connect although we see them together in every episode this episode showed their friendship very well. I really like Linda so far! Also that Grood teaser was cool. Can't wait for next week!!
ReplyDeleteIris was barely in the episode.
ReplyDeleteHer short screentime is part of why I thought it was an amazing episode.
ReplyDeleteIt was really great! Firestorm, badass Cisco, Barry/Henry scenes, the Barry/Caitlin friendship, DRUNK Caitlin was awesome, loved Linda, Grood and did i said FIRESTORM?!
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot Grant Gustin was on Glee until I saw this episode. Never heard him before, but the guy can sing. His friendship with Caitlin is much better than with Iris.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode. Loved the moment his dad told him he was proud of him being The Flash.
also known as "leading ladies are always hated and replaced by the hot nerd" syndrome.
ReplyDeleteNothing new for this franchise
John, Emily, Colton and Willa's Summer Lovin' is still the better version Jajajajaja
ReplyDeleteOMG, when she said, "Did you take a peek at my good stuff?" I had to Facepalm. Lol She should never say that again, even when she's sober. LOL oh Caitlin.
ReplyDeleteJesus! WTF! I've been trying to post my comment since 9pm. Why the site wasdown for so long was beyond me and irritating. But w/e finally!! Okkkk......
ReplyDeleteThis was a real fun episode, nicely paced, it had it's fun moments, and it's serious
moments, and it just flowed nicely.
Hahahaha, I watched that so many times. Man I love that cast. I might have to watch it again tonight. Lol
ReplyDeleteThat was awesome. I loved Britne Oldford in Ravenswood. She was great here too as Peek-a-Boo. Loved her and the fight scenes with her. I miss TTP. Where have I seen her douchebag of a boyfriend?
ReplyDeleteCisco letting Hartley out and their fight.
Loved seeing Henry.
snowbarryyyy
ReplyDeleteNice episode, Barry and Caitlin scenes were great, I liked them.
ReplyDeleteGlad Henry Allen pretty much knows his son is the Flash.
I forgot he was a warbler
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of it either.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
ReplyDeleteNope. She was not annoying. She was hardly there. Love Caitlin too :)
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of teasing.
ReplyDeleteOne good thing is that they have shown Barry to only have feelings for Iris.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice seeing Remy from Ravenswood again.
Barry*.
ReplyDeleteCAITLIN AND BARRY!!!!!! they were so awesome!!!!!!!!! i loved them completely, LOL Caitlin named another meta-human
ReplyDeleteIris really doesn't get that much screentime with Barry except in passing scenes
ReplyDeleteTRUTH!
ReplyDeleteLol, my bad, typo :)
ReplyDeleteGOT THAT RIGHT!
ReplyDeleteHaha :) I have no idea but my iPad loves to autocorrect to whatever it sees fit :)
ReplyDeletei really didn't think we'd see him, hear him sure but not get a glimpse of him, do you think he could become a Big Bad? think about that a talking gorilla as the villain of a season
ReplyDeletecompletely forgot ab out the Arrow cast singing that AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteRIGHT?!
ReplyDeleteSnowberry!
ReplyDelete"evil hearing aids" LMAO yeah i get that, actually Caitlin said "goods" LOL
ReplyDeleteI like Iris. I don't see anything annoying about her. They just don't give her enough screentime. This episode was bound to provoke ship wars, with people taking sides, though.
ReplyDeletedefinitely, Caitlin rocks
ReplyDeletehow do you typo goods to boobs LOL
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun episode!
ReplyDeleteThe opening moments with the couple acknowledging The Flash and thanking him for saving them made me so damn happy!
I AM GRODD!
definitely made me miss TTP
ReplyDeletemaybe create a meta-human jail, like Belle Reeve in "Smallville", and since when can Cisco fight?
ReplyDeletein TVD
ReplyDeleteThanks all fixed! I feel like a dope, can't believe I spelled his name wrong and so many times. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhich character was he?
ReplyDeletei think a Traveler, i didn't really see that season, i stopped in season 4 and 5 and came back in season 6
ReplyDeleteMe too. I stopped in season 4. But I have always kept track of the show. It's hard not to.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, and as I said in my comment. I will not answer it. Time to break out the dvds. Lol You will stay confused til someone answers you, b/c it won't be me. ; )
ReplyDeleteLmaoooo!! Yeah if you did it once, I might've let it slide, but way too many times, I had to say something. LOL I'm glad you fixed it. He's a person not a fruit. Hahahahaha = )
ReplyDeleteI saw this coming from a mile, especially after the Iris pile-on last week.
ReplyDeleteThe dressing scene was hilarious and Caitlin's stunned look at finding herself in pajamas was just classic. Probably the funniest part of the drunken night.
ReplyDeletemeanie LOL
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, Barry finally has a girlfriend and even Iris might be jealous about it. That scene with Caitlin and Barry dressing her was hilarious. And Gorilla Grodd, that was and awesome surprise.
ReplyDeleteYa it's pretty much one already but again how long can you keep people there. There has to be some oh have u learned ur lession? Yea? Ok you are free to go with a tracker. If they don't plant to release them that means most will escape in the future because power world. And also if they don't plan to release why even alive. Things like that need to be talked about in show like the long run for them.
ReplyDeleteAlso Cisco is a guy, who knows his fiction be it comic book movies or whatever. Guys like that try and use what they seen or read in real life tactic when ever given chance. A every one know how to fight I Feel like those that those that don't feel something that holds them back.
Now skilled fighting is different.
Can we have like a web series of Barry, Henry and Joe?
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm. I guess I need to brush up on my VD knowledge.
ReplyDeleteIt's her default setting lol
ReplyDeleteLove ya, sis ;)
How many episodes did Malese Jow sign on for? Great pairing with Barry... I hope Barry is happy for awhile, his fixation with Iris was getting boring.
ReplyDeleteI feel like a broken record every week saying "awesome episode. I loved it" so unless I say otherwise just assume that's how I wanted to start my comment lol
ReplyDeleteThe first scene was so beautiful my eyes teared a little.
GRODD is back!!
"Aww shucks. That is so sweet Barry dialogues." hahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteIn the comics Linda Park was girlfriend and later wife of Wally West (aka Kid Flash, then Flash after Barry died) and they seem to be merging a lot of Wally and Barry Flash mythology so it's possible the Linda relationship will continue for a while at least... who knows. Considering the way they're have Iris treat Barry, they may have Barry wind up with Linda.
ReplyDeleteI second this!
ReplyDeleteEvery episode Barry says something supportive to Iris and then she would say. Aww. That is so sweet of you Barry like he is some puppy waiting for treats. It was cute the first few times. Thank god there is a change in dynamics now.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame the audience. The EPs are doing this on purpose. They could have kept Caitlin on the friend side permanently instead they made their scenes ambiguous and open to interpretation. They don't realize in their plan to create buzz they will do more harm than good in the fandoms.
ReplyDeleteAnother Ravenswood fan.*waves* Remy was the best thing of that show. Wasn't she?
ReplyDeleteWait Linda was on Arrow? How did I miss that?! Which episode?
ReplyDeleteYeah but how did they explain their presence there? It's not like they can just waltz in there without Barry! And the fact that Hartley knew that they can go there makes me think that he knows for sure.
ReplyDeleteI saw, aside from the whole killer thing it was kinda cute lol
I wanted to see Cisco's reaction to the name.
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteThat's true it does happen a lot and Barry feels like a puppy following her around sometimes but to be fair Iris is also very supportive of him, the main reason she was obsessed with The Flash in the first place was to help Barry.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the change in their dynamic, glad that something else is grabbing his attention now, let the green-eyed monster show itself, muahahahaha
honestly the only way is (and i know this dark but) to kill them
ReplyDeleteCharlotte was on Supernatural
ReplyDeletewell it looks like Grodd is cuckoo LOL
ReplyDeleteSeason 2, episode 9, you see her on TV reporting the accelerator going to be activated soon.
ReplyDeleteAlso in pilot as cameo.
Both times cameo.
But since they gave her name the age difference is big.
but Dat Grood moment tho ...
ReplyDeleteWe need to see more of her job. Her going places to get info etc. I hope we will get this in the coming episodes. Also there needs to be a shake up in her relationship with Eddie. It might give Eddie something to do. He is so under utilized.
ReplyDeleteAnother excellent episode-Barry caitlin chemistry is off the charts & any scene between henry & barry is pure gold.I'm in love with all these characters.Such a great show!
ReplyDeleteMmhmm
ReplyDeleteYeah i know. (about the comics i mean, used to read them) Still don't think it'll be a long term thing. I think it'll be short. But not brief. But she looks fun. So it'll be fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more of her job. And i think the "Shake up" in their relationship will happen very soon.
ReplyDeleteEating brains, gaining intelligence (not kidding he can actually do that).
ReplyDeleteThey need to explore them both beyond their love lives. Or being either mad at The Flash or presidents of his fan club.
ReplyDeleteI believe their name is Snowbarry.
ReplyDeleteYeah I went back and watched it, you're right. Also she was covering the news about the accelerator but in 1x12 she works in the sports section. I guess it was just an Easter egg in the Pilot but they decided to use her.
ReplyDeleteUmm, "Girlfriend"?? They only went out to lunch. LOL Let's wait til they use the G word, before you start throwing it about. I'd give it at least 10 more dates or so. (if they can get that many with his side activities)
ReplyDeleteYou're really jumping the gun there Mac.
ReplyDeleteFigure it out yet?
ReplyDelete"Hey my hopes are high for this one" yeah i see, you're about ready to marry them off. LOL Relax, calm down. Let's see how their dates actually go. Wouldn't want you to pop a vessel. smh. ; )
ReplyDeleteHey my hopes are high for this one. After all this is one of my favorite actresses and
ReplyDeletei'm hoping we are going to see her more.
No. Iris is cool.
ReplyDeleteThey have two names, too. Not all the shippers call them that.
ReplyDeleteFive bucks says as Wells' plan becomes more exposed and we get closer to the finale and season two he'll be more pivotal.
ReplyDeleteWait a second i'm hoping for a girlfriend is only because i like this actress and i want to see he more. I never stated that i wanted them to become so involved just yet, just that i want to see her more on the series.
ReplyDeleteYeah but Snowbarry sounds much cooler. It's like a drink name.
ReplyDeleteYes it must done.
ReplyDeleteYou can still see more of her w/o her being Barry's "Girlfriend". That doesn't make any sense. Just by you stating you want her to be a "girlfriend" so she can be in the show, IS stating that you want her to be so involved with Barry, B/C you want her to be in the series. Get it?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't sound like a drink name to me. And i don't really care. I use both.
ReplyDeleteShe's a main character in the DCU. So they go on a few dates, and they move on. That really doesn't mean she's going to be leaving, b/c they "break it off". She could have a lot more SL than just that, despite what they cast her as. It happens all the time. I mean hell, take Felicity for example...Just wait and see.
ReplyDeleteOr we can you know, watch the show lol
ReplyDeleteI bet if I ordered one at a bar they'd get. (cries) lol.
ReplyDeleteAh fine. I'll watch the show.
ReplyDeleteFirst let me remind you something that i see you don't get from my statements, CW makes a lot of changes to the stories behind DC's characters so some characters might be main in the DC universe, but in the series they may come only for an episode or two. And second yes i will wait, but hey there is a saying "Hope, dies last!" so yeah i might have called her "Girlfriend" prematurely, but hey i like her and i hope i see her more.
ReplyDeleteWell yeah, but they casted her as a new character and a love interest for Barry, if he moves on i don't know how long will we see her in the series. After all her character is sports journalist.
ReplyDeleteThe Katherine scene?
ReplyDeleteYes? and it's connection to Peek-A-Boo's breakout scene?
ReplyDeleteNo, can't remember her breaking out someone from jail.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's like the writers don't want to spend time writing interesting dialogue or stories for Iris, so they just have her smiling and being a supportive friend and daughter. It frustrates me, because I like the actress and want to see more done with her character than being the love interest, or acting starstruck in presence of Flash. The partnership between her and the senior journalist aslo has the potential to be interesting.
ReplyDeleteyup, but they wont do that. So all that leaves with is escape at some point or release at some point.
ReplyDeleteif neither, then they are wasting a lot on feeding them with no income coming in like before, besides his former richness.
I agree. I too think they have something huge planned for Eddie. But Iris I am not sure where they are going with her.
ReplyDeleteEspecially with the spoiler photos running around.
ReplyDeleteI knowwww they make changes.
ReplyDeleteI think that Felicity has definitely taken Laurel's place as the main female character especially in the eyes of fans. I think that the writers are finally trying to make Laurel's character a little more relevant, but in some ways, the damage has already been done. At the same time, I don't think that anyone expected this to happen with Felicity. She was a minor character, but her portrayal by the actress, basically took the writers by surprise. I think the role of Caitlin seems to be more calculated on the part of the writers,
ReplyDeleteLol to me it sounds like a lipstick shade.
ReplyDeleteThey need to immediately break Iris and Eddie up , then show us Iris investigating to get her stories and impress her bosses. Don't let just Flash give the information to her. I know it's only one episode since she got the job but I think right now they need to work on Iris and Eddie the most among the regular characters. As more and more episode passes by people will loose every interest in her.
ReplyDeleteNo not from ivan. It's because you said that the scene reminded you of her so I thought you meant what she was doing in the scene. Now I have no idea what you meant.
ReplyDeleteTo quote the wise Phoebe Buffay "I might be losing interest in this" lol
ReplyDeleteNope. Not at all. But that's fine. It may click later.
ReplyDeleteI tend to stick almost entirely to this site, so maybe that's why I don't see it as much.
ReplyDeleteI think they simply don't like writing for characters who is not a part of the main villain of the said episode.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah it kinda does.
ReplyDeleteWell really just journalist and love interest for Barry/potential reason Eddie could hate Barry.
ReplyDeleteThe Flash was awesome as usual
ReplyDeleteYes (Waves back), Loved Ravenswood, though I think most thought it was stupid. And yes she was one of the best things about that show. I really liked Caleb and Miranda too. I think those three together made that show. Too bad they pulled it without much of an ending (and yes that includes that lame ass wrap up on PPL). And now I wont see Caleb and Miranda get together. (sad face)
ReplyDeleteIt took some time to get to speed but Ravenswood had lot of potential. I had never seen PLL. I went into it with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
ReplyDeleteI've tried watching PLL 3 different times and I just can't get into it, it's just too slow. Plus I know there's like 14 or so books in the series and the author still hasn't reveled who A is. I figure if she hasn't said then they are never going to say on the show so why watch?
ReplyDeleteI just saw one episode and let it go. Not my cup of tea. I don't like long drawn out mysteries. That is why I stopped watching Blacklist live and decided to binge watch it.
ReplyDeleteI love the Blacklist! Yes it's a long drawn out mystery but at lest it's fast paced and more interesting and entertaining then PLL. LOL
ReplyDeleteThis episode was pure gold. I really feel like Grant Gustin should get some recognition for his portrayal of Barry. He has created one of the most lovable easy going characters around and he is insanely compelling both in his funny moments (all the Caitlin scenes) and the heart-breaking scenes (the scene with his dad at the end killed me).
ReplyDeleteAlso, I simply adored everything Caitlin-Barry. I am not a shipper at all and I would probably even prefer if they were to stay as friends but I adored their friendship in this episode, it was so amazing. The scenes in which she was drunk were funny as hell and the ones they were talking about getting back out there were very compelling and felt honest!
Loved it.
right?! and Caleb WAS falling in love with Miranda and no one can deny that (they were amazing and i needed thm together SO BADLY!!!), and now that he's back on pll the actor has to make those feelings like they never existed
ReplyDeleteit would've been hilarious
ReplyDeleteookay i just threw up LOL
ReplyDeleteGlad I could be of service.
ReplyDeleteI know. I don't even watch PLL very often but when I do and I see Hana and Caleb together I want to gag. I mean all I ever see is her using him for his computer skills. I really don't see this epic love thing that they are supposed to have.
ReplyDeleteI don't know I just think that him and Miranda really hit it off right from the start and just got a long so well. Where as him and Hanna just gripped back and forth while she paid him to hack into the blind lady's phone.
She kind of thought he was beneath her because he came from the other side of the tracks so to speak. Miranda never judged him that way.
Oh and did you like the open jars and firefly wrap up on PLLs? Talk about lame ending.
