  1. Seems interesting enough. Let's see...

  2. It feels like they went more for scares than humor. I thought the original had some cute funny scenes. I still miss Heather O'Roarke to this day. This one might be worth a watch.

  3. Sigh...I like the cast. (Hey "Joey" guess this explains why you haven't been on my TV screen with Mr. Hardy) But I feel classics should just stay classics. I loved the Original Poltergeist. And Heather how cute were you?? (R.I.P). This remake seems to be darker, (then again of course they would shoot for that) or they want to make it that way at least, times have changed. This looks okay, but I doubt I'll see it in theaters (sorry Sam Rockwell). Just hope that when I do see it, I won't be disappointed.

  4. After seeing this trailer this afternoon it made me pull out the original and watch it. I agree with you Shannon there are some that shouldn't be touched. This movie made quite the impression on me as a kid and was a favorite of mine. It can still make me laugh, cry and scare me to this day! The clown in this one still freaks me out!! This new movie looks downright laughable. No one is cuter than Heather! JoBeth and Craig were outstanding & gave moving performances as the parents and Zelda was quite the scene stealer. Plus the movie score is beautiful. When you have Steven Spielberg as the writer you can't go wrong!
