Think this movie is coming a bit too late. But still I'll enjoy watching Ryan kick some major but, should be fun.

Why is it coming too late? Superhero movies are going nowhere and it fits extremely well with the Days of Future Past retcon.

In the new continuity, The Wolverine never happened.
ReplyDeleteIt took place after X-Men 3 which means it was wiped out by DOFP.
okay. Just looked it up Deadpool appeared in Origins and it happened in 1979 so the events of Dofp could effect the Team X forming.

ReplyDeleteYeah, every X-Men movie but First Class and Days of Future Past are out continuity wise, although Wolverine remembers those events as of 2014 and Professor X knows of the aborted time line thanks to reading Wolverine's mind.
ReplyDeleteThey are changing the formation of the team. The next X-Men movie, Apocalypse, is going to show that happen in the 1980's.
The script that is the basis for this movies existence (will be rewritten, because it's an R-rated script and the movie will be PG-13), went entirely with the comics. It actually even breaks the fourth wall to make fun of Origins: Wolverine.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that won't change. Deadpool gets cancer, joins Weapon X, gets Wolverine's healing factor, the cancer mutates and he's deformed for that reason.
