    I'm guessing Castle thinks Kate is dead. I'm also guessing that Neiman performed plastic surgery on a woman to make her a Kate clone and that's who Castle finds in the chair.

    This is exactly my thought. I had this suspicion ever since seeing this weeks promos, and I made a post about this sci-fi theory, but this is so something Castle would suggest, and he is often right, so I am thinking that it is quite likely.
    I also cannot yet figure it out if that is the real Kate in that chair in the scene, and Rick just thinks she is hurt bad/dead, or if it is the Kate clone, and they find the real one later.

    Pretty sure that's not Beckett in the chair but another double to screw with Castle. The writers/network aren't that brave to do anything to their lead actress. Lol.


    With that said, I do hope that they would do something brave and have Kate go through a miscarriage. Not that I'm one of the many who buy into the pregnancy rumors - I just want to see the writers so something bold and unpredictable.


    Can't wait for this though. Love seeing Dark!Castle and I especially love it when they put him through the ringer.

    Well, he does feel a lot of guilt that he didn't stop Tyson in Season 3. So he may just apologize because he feels like it's his fault he didn't stop him earlier. Which is completely irrational of course, but he has been shown to feel that guilt.

    Almost every show, particulary a procedural, is "soooo predictable" - it´s how the predictable is done that makes the difference - and in this case it was awesome!

    Castle blames himself for 3XK getting away back in Season 3 and feels guilty that he was too late to stop him. When he finds Kate (real or fake), I think he apologizes for not only not getting there in time but because he didnt stop 3XK from harming her.
