  1. So Excited!!! Can't wait for the ATOM Suit.

  2. If Thea served Malcolm up to the League then so much the better. No reason to go save his ass, Ollie.

    ReplyDelete
  3. It might explain - FINALLY - why he does, though. It's less about her losing a parent, and more about what it will mean if she actively had a hand in her parent's death. I still think he should let Merlyn die, but at least for the first time it doesn't sound completely stupid and insane. Still stupid, but the reason is more sane than I thought.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Just two things:

    a) Is Oliver really gonna take Roy and Laurel to Nanda Parbat? Why? Roy couldn't even defeat DJ Moron and Laurel is less skilled than Roy, even... Even Digg would slow him down...

    b) I loved the ATOM suit in the still, but when he was standing there in the promo, in motion... that looked rigid as hell... like, really bad... :S

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yeah, also... he lost his mother and father and after what Slade said to him. Maybe he doesn't want Thea to become an orphan.

Still think they should let Malcolm die... with lots of pain...

    ReplyDelete
  6. Eh. It's still not good enough of a reason to me. If Oliver wants to keep the blood of a parent off Thea's hands that's fine and dandy but foolishly risking his own life to do so is still insane.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I think it also has to do with the fact that more or less, Oliver's parents both died to protect him (and Thea, in Moira's case), and he's got crazy guilt over his hand in their deaths, and he didn't exactly go up to Malcolm or Slade and go "Hey, these are bad people, kill them." So I'm still going with more stupid than insane ... although that's just my opinion.

And again, I still think he should let Malcolm die. I really, really want him to let Malcolm die. We all know this is going to end badly for him somehow. But if this is going to happen - and it is, apparently - I'm a little happier knowing that the reason behind it beats "Because Thea won't have a dad!" because there are rats who eat their offspring that are better parents than Malcolm.

  8. Yeah, there isn't a damn thing Oliver could do for Malcolm that would make any bit of sense, IMO. It doesn't even make sense for him to insist that they still need him to defeat Ra's - he sent them to Lian Yu to get in touch with their killer instinct (which for some unknown reason seemed to surprise Oliver - what did he think they were there for), which they don't have. So far his methods are trash.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yeah, that suit did not look good in motion, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Agreed on the second part, but let's be honest, Thea is better off as an orphan than with crazy Malcolm around. Safer, anyway. And if she wants father bonding time, she should go find Walter. Not related by blood, but also has never had her murder anybody.

    That we know of.

  11. he looked like a potato on christmas day xD

    ReplyDelete
  12. Guilt or not, Oliver stands a much much greater chance of making sure Thea loses both a brother and a father than he does saving Malcolm from the League of Assassins by himself as the synopsis suggests. If he doesn't get that then I'm sticking with insane as my adjective.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree about the stupid versus insane thing. But at least we both agree that Malcolm should die, and that this whole rescue mission is a terrible idea and bound to go badly. It would be nice if Oliver could just realize that.

    ReplyDelete
  14. It would be a suicide mission for laurel...and I am feeling that Ra doesn't care bout Oliver being alive...he knows he didn't kill Sarah... He wants Malcolm to answer for the undertaking and also for Sarah's death...Oliver is crazy to save Malcolm....

    ReplyDelete
  15. Excited about the Nanda Parbat stuff. Did Thea somehow hand Malcolm over to the league?

Ray's suit = who cares?!!!! And it looks awful.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Amen. Besides, Oliver doesn't need to give the team any more excuses to lay into him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I just want to put him into hot water with some noodles... because he looks like a potato on christmas eve...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah, the new angry team dynamic isn't so much fun, but if they get mad at him again about this, I can't exactly blame them. In fact, I would not blame any of them if they were like "Storm the LoA to rescue the guy who got you and Sara killed and set up Thea? Yeah, gonna pass, have fun though!"

    ReplyDelete
  19. But Laurel is on Nanda Parbat on that promo... So Roy must be there too xD

    ReplyDelete
  20. You mean Iron Man? Because that makes no sense.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Malcolm and Oliver have to beat Ra's Al Ghul. Malcolm can be a good guy. He is only frustrated and battered because of his wife's and Tommy's death. Malcolm can NOT die!!! We love this character!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. No I meant the Hulk. He looked too bulky in a funny way.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ha! That would definitely be my answer. I wouldn't blame the team for griping at him either. I'm just tired of the fact that yelling at Oliver has become a regular (almost weekly) feature of this show.

    ReplyDelete
  24. He looks really weird.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Eh still doesn't work. I'mso pumped for the inevitable justice league episode consisting of (the current most likely line-up) Arrow, Arsenal, Flash, Black Canary, Atom, Firestorm, and (hopefully) Vibe and (maybe?) Vixen and Speedy. Lol with only one original seven.

    ReplyDelete
  26. If Oliver had just handed over Malcolm to Nyssa in The Magician for the crime of the Undertaking, all this trauma to Thea could have been avoided. Not to mention the trauma to me.

Between the stupidity of this and everyone propping Laurel because she's so wonderful, this season has been full of exactly what I don't want to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't care about Ray's suit, I don't care about Merlyn in Nanda Parbat and I really really don't care about Laurel. The last time this show gave me something I enjoyed watching was in December.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It works for me and I don't remember asking for your opinion about it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Agreed. I don't like it either. But as long as Oliver keeps doing stupid things, they're going to keep yelling. So really, Oliver just needs to stop doing stupid things. Let Malcolm die, save his sister, bond with his team again, and everything is happy. Well, relatively happy for this show.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I agree that Oliver should have handed Malcolm over but the price would have been his relationship with Thea. There's a really good argument that it would have been worth it though. (Sara would be alive, Oliver wouldn't have been almost killed, Thea would be safe)

As for Laurel, I have no problems there. She has become this crazy, brawling, danger junkie. Because of that, she's actually starting to become entertaining for me.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Not even sure what this is about. But I am for you Koky! You know your Arrow!

    ReplyDelete
  32. LOL!! And the best comment of the night goes to....

    ReplyDelete
  33. I've really liked these past episodes. Oh whale... That's probably most of what we'll get for the rest of the season, so maybe you should stop watching till S4.
And what is it do you care about exactly? Olicity?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Is she? Or is she fighting LoA dudes who are in Starling?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I just want to see Malcolm get his at the League. That's been a long time coming.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thea, go girl!
ERay looks weird in that milisecond. I hope the suit looks better tbh

    ReplyDelete
  37. Always and forever... I know different show! :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sweetie, you are trying way too hard

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think he is far too gone from a redemption storyline where he survives

    ReplyDelete
  40. Why don't Oliver just let Malcolm die......you solve all the problem at once

    ReplyDelete
  41. can't wait for Atom spinoff!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I agree lol
I think its because it shows his face. I was picturing more like Iron Man where the face is covered. Or at least he could have tinted the visor. I guess he's not concerned about concealing his identity...

    ReplyDelete
  43. I want the Oliver/Diggle/Felicity team interactions back. The show is too crowded with poorly-fleshed out comic book figures. There's no logic to the Malcolm Merlyn storyline this season but John Barrowman is always fun chewing the scenery..

Olicity will never happen if Marc Guggenheim has anything to say about it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. they wont do and cant do only felicity/diggle/olliver interaction, that is going backwards to S1 wghere there was just them in the team. I actually lñike that they are trying to add more people but they need to keep things balanced not just trow and episode for one of them and then nothing else for the rest f the season like they are doing with Diggle.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think u mean Greg n Andrew either way they did warn everyone early on about how they wanted comic book canon esp when it came to the Black Canary storyline. I just think some didn't think it would happen so soon. Personally I have been waiting for this story for Laurel since the pilot so I'm pleased that it's finally here . Now if I could just get Ollie called Green Arrow instead of Arrow things would be epic.

    ReplyDelete
  46. There is still a reason to, though. Merlyn still didn't kill Sara by his own hand and the League could still seek punishment for the one who has Sara's blood on her hands, which is Thea.

    ReplyDelete
  47. That doesn't fit. The League wants Merlyn for his past deeds. To my knowledge, the League thinks Oliver killed Sara and Malcolm has absolutely nothing to do with it so they'd have no reason to even question him about it. If anyone, the League would come after Oliver, not Thea. I'm sure that will change eventually but as of now there's still no reason to save Malcolm.

    ReplyDelete
  48. What's up with the bad photoshop?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Too many, JL should be: Arrow, Supergirl, Flash, Firestorm, Atom and Oracle(If they can cross with Titans to get Babs, if not just bring Felicity).
They can't handle too many characters and those are the cooler ones... With those you can get a cool 90 minutes story.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I've pausedthe video and the scenary(even if it's out of focus) looks like Nanda Parbat...

Hope it's Starling... It wouldn't make sense if Oliver brought Laurel or Roy with him...

    ReplyDelete
  51. The League wants Merlyn for his past deeds AND whoever killed Sara. Ra's knew Ollie was protecting someone and I'm sure there's a reason why Nyssa is shown in the promo as well fighting Ollie.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "DJ moron" was a member of the League of Assassins. Shouldn't we now call him DJ Ninja?

    ReplyDelete
  53. The show has never given any indication that the League wants Malcolm for any connection to Sara whatsoever.

    ReplyDelete
  54. THE ATOM IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOMESAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. why? do you just want Palmer out of the show or do genuinely want to see him lead his own show?

    ReplyDelete
  56. At SDCC, they said some characters would get their comic book destinies and others wouldn't. No one ever said that they wanted comic book canon for the Black Canary except katie Cassidy.

It was pretty obvious that Laurel would become the Black Canary when Sara was arrowed, thrown off a building, put in a freezer and then buried in a coffin. It's too bad they had to kill Sara instead of having her kidnapped so that Laurel could take her place, and then come back as another character/

    ReplyDelete
  57. I find the show too crowded and unfocussed this season. They're building origin stories for costumed characters like crazy, and adding on Ra's as well a bringing back Merlyn. One of the things I liked about Sara is that she came on the show as the Canary, there was no need to start putting her together like there is for Roy, Laurel and Ray.

I find Diggle more interesting than Ray or Roy, or Laurel, frankly, but he gets one episode a year and he's been relegated to staying in the basement so Laurel and Roy can go out far too much. Felicity finally got one episode that was about her and she's spent the rest of the season propping Ray and Laurel.

Right now, there are six people in the cave, seven if you could Malcolm, eight if you count Ray. Way to much to be able to write good stories for. I think more than four, it goes downhill.

And once Ray's suit works, Starling City won't need the Arrow, it will have the Atom.

  58. You gave yours so I gave mine.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm not "trying" anything. I thought her comment was hilarious b/c i could hear her frustration. therefore i commented on it. You otoh seem to be reading too much into it, when i was lightly joking.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sure. Sure sure.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hahahaha, he's just doing his wishful thinking thing. lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. Ouch! she snapped back. LOL. Think i rubbed off on her. = p....Usually i'd agree with her, but i didn't understand that either. It made me do the Head tilt dog thing. lol So i agree with you. (Sorry Koky. luv you xoxox)

    ReplyDelete
  63. Did Thea give Malcolm to LoA. Way to go girl. Or maybe Laurel did after she knows the secret. Let him die Oliver all your problems will be automatically solved.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sadly, it's not the first time this has happened though. So no one can really be "shocked" at this point. (me personally, i call it the Laurel curse). Shrugs.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks Shannon. Who doesn't love Koky?

    ReplyDelete
  66. You're welcome. I mean i even would've understood if she said "Power Ranger" lol But this...ehhhhh. idk. But it makes sense to her, so w/e. And no one i know! And if they have a problem, they'll have to get through me! = )

    ReplyDelete
  67. No you just disregarded my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  68. You didn't rub off on me. I told you I'm not as cute and cuddly as you think. I just don't usually retaliate because I believe in "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

    ReplyDelete
  69. The suit doesn't look good. It makes him look huge underneath it, the Iron Man suit never gave that impression. I'm kinda expecting the ground to shake and hear "dum. dum, dum" when he walks.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hmmm what show is that?

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm pretty sure it was Thea. Laurel would be ridicolous, I don't see how she would ever be able to catch Merlyn off guard. And obviously she couldn't survive five seconds in a fight against him.
And no, Merlyn's death wouldn't solve Oliver's problems. Ra's still thinks that Oliver killed Sara and if he finds out the truth, he will go after Thea. Either way, Oliver still got a big issue with the League of Assassins.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I didn't mean Laurel fight Merlyn, tie him up and give him to LoA. That would be ridiculous. Laurel would be flat on the ground in seconds if she face Merlyn. I thought Laurel might some how reach out to Nyssa and give up Merlyn's location to her.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Okay, i will Jajaja A DJ and a Ninja Jajajaja Just on tv xD

    ReplyDelete
  74. The Originals :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. There was a spoiler which said when Laurel learns the truth her reaction will surprise everyone. They are not going to make Laurel try to punish Thea. We all know that. Fans will rip her to shreds. So her anger will be focused on Malcolm. That's why I feel Thea might say the truth to Laurel herself and they try to give Malcolm to LoA. But from the promo it looks like Laurel is fighting with Arrow and Arsenal. I wonder why Oliver would take her to save Malcolm?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Nyssa made her suspicions to her father in "The Magician" and Ra's knew that Ollie was protecting someone, so it's only a matter of time that, when they do kidnap Merlyn, he may tell the truth about Thea and that's a no bueno for Ollie.

    ReplyDelete
  77. fans rip Laurel to shreds all the time anyway. I wonder why Oliver would take Laurel to fight anyone, she still isn't a very good fighter (and is annoying as hell)

    ReplyDelete
  78. I still don't get it. Sorry. Bruce doesn't wear a suit, he's just heavy. Tony wears a suit, that's always heavy and bulky, and since he has many suits, you can always see it, the bulky, especially when he takes off his mask. And he always goes "dum, dum, dum" when he walks. In movies, 1,2, Avengers, 3, Avengers 2..(If you've seen the trailers).....SorI don't want to drag this out or get you more annoyed then you already are. I just don't see how Atom's suit can be connected to Bruce Banner in any way shape or form. But as iI said, it makes sense to you. It's your analogy so stick with it.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I AM sticking with it.

    ReplyDelete
  80. It's true!! I call it the fountain of youth skin. LOL. I gotta go meet a friend. Ttyl

    ReplyDelete
  81. Perhaps, but so did you.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I HATE the design of the ATOM suit. To me it looks like something out of an even more futuristic Rollerball(http://i.imgur.com/eFFtJ7Gm.jpg).

Having said that it is probably supposed to be clunky right now. Which is probably why he goes to STAR Labs for help with it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm sorry, but not really! I say, let Ra's ah Ghul have his way with Malcolm Merlyn! The man, is just plain evil, nothing good in, or about him! He used Thea, his own daughter, to kill Sara, and for what? He knew that Oliver would take the blame for Sara's death in order to save Thea's life, he really wants Oliver dead! What gets me though, Merlyn portrays the part of a mighty warrior of the league, but instead he is nothing but a yellow bellied coward! I was really hoping that he would break down from being a coward, and someway, or somehow convince Ra's ah Ghul to take his life for the release of Thea's to be saved! Did he? No, because Merlyn is a yellow bellied coward!

    ReplyDelete
  84. What Laurel needs right now is a new trainer not team Arrow missions.

    ReplyDelete
  85. not really. Ra's al Ghul would still be after Oliver and/or Thea for Sara's murder.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Malcolm Merlyn has to survive!!! He is one of our favorites characters. Malcolm can be a good guy. He is only frustrated and battered because of his wife's and Tommy's death.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Malcolm cares his daughter and Oliver. Inside Malcolm is caring and loving.
