  4. Most obvious renewal:

    The Flash
How To Get Away With Murder
    Gotham

    Also obvious

    Scorpion
    NCIS: NO

    Almost 100%

    Black-ish

The rest have some degree of potential cancellation in them.

  5. Flash, Gotham and HTGAWM. As well as Scorpion, they're all their respective networks top rating new show.

    The flash, HTGAWM, Gotham

  7. The Flash, NCIS NO, Forever and maybe Madam Secretary.

  8. Flash, HTGAWM and Gotham ♥. yes, please...thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  9. The Flash, How to Get Away with Murder and Gotham. Also Scorpion, NCIS New Orelans and Blackish. These 6 are sure things.

A to Z and Bad Judge have officially been cancelled while I say Marry Me and Stalker are certain cancellations and Constantine is somewhere between a likely one and a certain one (conventional wisdom would say certain, I keep it as likely). Forever and State of Affairs are also likely, if not certain, cancellations.

This leaves blubbers The Virgin, The Mysteries of Laura and Madam Secretary. I am somehow pessimistic about Laura; the other two are firmly at the bubble right now, I need more data.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Scorpion belongs in that group too.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Forever has very small to no chance of renewal

    ReplyDelete
  12. HTGAWM, Scorpion, NCIS: NO, Gotham, Black-ish and The Flash

    ReplyDelete
  13. For me it doesn't look that way, so i'm voting, and what if i'm wrong so what this is just vote.

    ReplyDelete
  14. How did you put Forever there and leave out Scorpion, Gotham and the biggest hit of the season HTGAWM?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'd say "no".

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think all these are 100% guaranteed renewals.

    ReplyDelete
  17. You're right, it does.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Scorpion has really no chance in my opinion. First of all it is so called "by true story" which it never is, the show has interesting story and is my favorite of this season, but as the show goes on i see little future for it. The episodes are great, but i'm not seeing much people showing their support by watching it.
As for Gotham and HTGAWM i can't comment on shows that neither i'm watching or following their progress.

    ReplyDelete
  19. What? That makes no sense at all. Scorpion has great ratings and will definitely get renewed. It is a self starter and maintained it's great ratings even with The Millers as a lead in.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Do you think Jane the Virgin's chances will be influenced by the outcome of Sunday's Golden Globe?

By the way, I miss your ratings articles. Hope there will be one coming soon ;)

    ReplyDelete
  21. HTGAWM, Gotham, The Flash, Black-ish, NCIS and Scorpion sound like shoo-ins to me.
Jane the Virgin will probably get renewed on account of its critical acclaim.
I'm not sure about the others.

    ReplyDelete
  22. As in previous comment this is my opinion, and again so what this is my vote on things, if i'm wrong i'm wrong that doesn't affect the shows.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, it not really "your opinion" when you say state like i'm not seeing much people showing their support by watching it., which simply isn't true.

P.S: Not trying to start a fight here, just wanna keep the discussion going.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well i'm saying that because of what i'm seeing. And just to clarify something i don't follow neither the ratings nor any of the people following the show on other platforms. So my opinion is that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Okay, so NCIS: LA is a spin-off of NCIS, which is a spin-off of JAG. And since Scorpion had a corssover with NCIS: LA, that means all these shows share a universe. Now a JAG star appearing on Scorpion in another role feels kinda wrong, lol,

    ReplyDelete
  26. Renewals: NCIS NO, HTGAWM, The Flash, Black-ish, Gotham and Scorpion.

Could go either way: Madam Secretary and The Mysteries of Laura, and Jane The Virgin.

Cancellations: State of Affairs, Marry Me, Stalker ,Constantine and Forever.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It depends on what fails6 January 2015 at 12:26

Mulaney, lol, just kidding, voted for Flash, the only newbie to be the #1 on its network.

Renewals: The Flash, Scorpion, NCIS: New Orleans, Black-ish and Gotham

Toss-ups: Madam Secretary, Jane the Virgin, Mysteries of Laura and Galavant

    Eveything else canceled.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Gotham is no 1 on FOX.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Eheh thanks! I tried starting one during Christmas but I didn't like how it was coming up. I will give it a try again soon.

As for The Virgin, I think it's a tricky question. Do I believe the outcome of the GG is, in itself, a factor worth considering for renewal and cancellation? No. Do I believe the outcome of the GG might be a factor that drives viewers to try out the program, hence effectively shaping its chances for renewal and cancellation (albeit on an indirect way)? Yes. So it could help, but indirectly, and the ratings will still be enough of a factor to help us predicting it!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I am pretty sure you forgot Murder ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't watch any of them, so I don't really care, but I feel that Flash will be new SPN for CW.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Based on the 4 that I watch:
    1) Gotham - lowest ratings so far was 5.89 million viewers and the average is between 6.25 - 6.5 million viewers. Unless "24" is returning to Monday nights Gotham is safe for renewal.
    2) How To Get Away With Murder - lowest ratings so far was 8.68 million viewers and the average is between 9.25 - 9.75 million viewers............is there any doubt about renewal?
    3) Stalker - lowest ratings so far was 7.01 million viewers and the average is between 7.25 - 8.0 million viewers. As the "surprise hit" of 2014 (just ask the critics) the last 9 episodes would have to "nosedive" for Stalker to not be renewed.
    - Constantine: I can't help but feel this series was doomed to fail from the start. It's my opinion that this series should have been on ShowTime (with Penny Dreadful) or StarZ (cable channels) to stay true to the "HellBlazer" series. Hopefully this mistake won't be made with Preacher, The Sandman, or The Books of Magic.
    Nobody 4 LATER!!!

  33. A to Z was cancelled over a month ago. But The Flash no doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Isn't Flash the biggest hit?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well, relatively, probably, but ratings wise, not really.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Viewers don't count, demo does.

    ReplyDelete
  37. So yes. Since doesn't it beat everyone in 18-34 the key demographic?

    ReplyDelete
  38. iZombie. Oh, bit early but IT MUST.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well, it's not only the 18-34 that counts.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Flash, Scorpion, and How To Get Away With Murder get my vote. That said, Constantine is the show listed that I want to get picked up more than any other.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Actually, I just looked it up and it's not beating everything in the 18-34 demo, it's not even close.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's hard to pick just three cause right now Flash is a hit for CW,Gotham is doing well for Fox,Scorpion & NCiS :NO are hits for CBS and Blackish,Murder are hits for ABC.

    ReplyDelete
  43. How To Get Away With Murder and The Flash are practically renewed...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Voted for Gotham, Scorpion, NCIS:NO and How to get away with murder.
I'm not sure about stalker. I had highly expectations but it turns to be a disappointment imo. Constantine is fine for me but it's ratings seemed really bad.
Don't watch Madam Secretary, but MS+TGW is a better lineup for CBS on Sunday(to TGW), MS's ratings aren't good enough tho. Somehow I feel that CBS wants it to be a replacement of TGW.
I'm thinking about starting Jane the Virgin, seems an interesting show:)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Last year I think Stalker might have scored a renewal. It's doing decently enough at 10 after CM. But Scorpion and NCIS:NO are looking good for renewals, and I think CBS would keep Madam Secretatry over Stalker, and I doubt they'll renew them all. Also, CBS doesn't own Stalker. It owns the other 3.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think the top three are Flash, Jane the Virgin and How to Get Away With Murder. Though I'd add several others to the list too.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Easy:
1_The Flash: its ratings would get it renewed on FOX, NBC and probably ABC too
2_Gotham: Great ratings for FOX + 1.5 million per episode by Netflix.
3_How To Get Away With Muder: With those numbers? Obviously; the only reason it falls behind Gotham and Flash is because Flash is not only brining amazing ratings but it is also aiding Arrow in its way, and Gotham has the Netflix thing.
    4_Black-ish.
    5_Scorpion.
6_Jane The Virgen: All hail the golden globe nomination!
    7_Madam Secretary
    8_The Mysteries of Laura
    9_Stalker
    10_Constantine
    11_Forever
    12_Constantine
    13_State of Affairs
    14_Marry Me
    15_Bad Judge
    16_A to Z

  48. I'll give u four shows-Gotham.HTGAWM,Scorpion & The Flash-100% lock for renewal.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Flash, Gotham, HTGAWM, probably Jane, Madam Secretary, and Scorpion

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think Benched should have been a choice. It's very funny.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Gotham, HTGAWM, Scorpion, The Flash, NCIS:NO, Blackish are all dead certs for renewal
I would say TMOL, Stalker, Madam Secretary and JTV all have a decent chance too
    The rest are acertain cancellations

    ReplyDelete
  52. what are you smokin' love?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Stalker is CBS's highest rated 10pm show I believe, its not doing bad enough to warrant cancellation, they should consider keeping it and moving it to the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  54. cBS has two other freshman shows-Scorpion,NCIS:NO -doing better,Stslker is WB owned not CBS,it got 20 episodes and only 17-18 are scheduled to air,Staljer wont be renewed

    ReplyDelete
  55. Constantine so whoever runs TVByTheNumbers's Cancel/Renew section can break a blood vessel

    ReplyDelete
  56. I have to agree with Constantine. It's a really good show actually, but NBC is doing nothing to promote it and it's just wasted.

    ReplyDelete
  57. HTGAWM, The Flash, Black-ish, Gotham, Scorpion, NCIS: New Orleans are getting renewed for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I´m pretty sure that NCIS: NO and HTGAWM get renewed, but I really hope for Madam Secretary, Mysteries of Laura and Forever to make it, too.
I don´t watch the others listed and I don´t care about them, so I don´t have an opinion about them.

    ReplyDelete
  59. They only count broadcast networks in these polls; but Benched should be fine.

    ReplyDelete
  60. "THE FLASH" - "SCORPION" and even though I don't watch it NCIS "new orleans". 4th option "How to get away with murder" I have only watched 2 episodes but I think it has a good chance of being renewed

    ReplyDelete
  61. The CW shows are both locks. No way will The CW drop the hammer down on Jane the Virgin when it's the only show to ever get them award chatter. ABC's Murder is a lock too.

Unfortunately, Mysteries of Laura is a real solid bet for renewal as well. I was hoping that stinker would have been axed long ago. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  62. HTGAWM, NCIS: New Orleans, The Flash and Scorpion!

    ReplyDelete
  63. SpoilertTv, Are these USD polls accurate? Is there a way to cheat and vote multiple times? I know on some polldaddy polls that all you have to do is clear your history or change your IP address. What makes the USD poll different?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Voted Flash & Gotham which I watch and Murder. Want Stalker and Jane to also return and it looks good so far!

    ReplyDelete
  65. ABC - How To Get Away With Murder
    CBS - Scorpion
    CW - The Flash
    FOX - Gotham
