I'm a one couple kind of gal and forwood owned my heart during the good times of tvd. Klaus just had to come along and ruin a good thing. I ended it for good after he and Caroline did the unforgivable in the woods.
And of course, the top three on this list are either extremely toxic (Delena) hasn't happened yet (Steroline & Bamon) or pretty much finished for good (Klaroline).
I'm a Steroline shipper, but this poll is pointless. Those four are ALWAYS going to be at the top because they've been around the longest.
I know. How many times can there be a poll to show that Delena and Klaroline have the biggest fan groups? We really do get it. If they're going to do a couples poll I'd be more interested in one with potential couples that hadn't happened yet. At least the results would be less predictable. Or a poll focussing on a new characters like Luke. Although I'd be pleasantly surprised if the writers tried to develop anything between Luke and one of the other guys, though. Just anything but this Delena, Klaroline crap.
How can it be a best couple poll when half of these aren't couples or even hinted at couples (except in the mind of people who ship anyone who have shared a scene)?

Klaroline and Delena at the top ?! What a joke ! Klaroline : the only fact that they fucked in the woods like animals for their first time is the TRUE illustration of what their relationship was about ,which is just : an intense sexual attraction , nothing more... Delena : i never liked this pair but i think that Julie ruined it since 4x07 , they way she built the fondation of their relationship sucked , it's like delena is just about passion and sex. And the way she present Elena as the ONLY way of saving poor bad Damon is sick and weird. This co-dependance is really weird and unhealthy. For me , Bamon should be number 1.

Yes and they already did voice their opinions numerous times about the same topic. Now it's enough. This is only about having your favourite couple win a poll and then shove it down the other couples fan's throats. Again, shipping wars belong to fansites. this place is for discussing TV shows.
Most of them aren't real couples (I don't consider Klaroline a real couple any more than I would consider Caroline and Damon a real couple), I really liked Bonnie and Jeremy as a couple in the beginning, but the writers really screwed that one over by lazy storytelling and having most of their relationship happen off-screen to such an extent that the sequence of events made no sense. One day,Jeremy was conflicted and cheated on Bonnie with a ghost and then in the next season, Bonnie was the love of his life, but we never got to see how this happened.
It's kind the only couple where abuse hasn't been featured (yet) and despite all the nasty comments towards the nature of their relationship (one would think that a female is free to choose her partner even if it's the brother of your childs father but apparently not if shippers are involved)
I actually have to tip my hat to the writers for it, I'm coming from a family with a similar relationship and I've heard so many nasty comments towards them that I kind of can't help but feel satisfied that the writers took this down such a healthy route
tbh i'm hella proud of klaroline fandom who're still shipping it.TO cast/writers and those saint holier-than-thou TO stans treated my fandom like a dirt and yet kc fandom didn't giveup.The writers tried to cheapen klaroline with that horrible sex scene but we know that klaroline ship was not based on sex and lust and that's why we're still shipping it.
First of all. Check your language, it is very vulgar and offputting. Plus it suggest a personal dislike towards this couple.There is nothing wrong with disliking the Klaroline pairing, however, there are better and more positive ways to do and say so.
Second, i think it goes without saying that Klaroline is more than a sexual attraction. Yes, they do have that attraction and have given into it, but there is nothing wrong withsex in thier relationship and more to them than that.
Caroline understands Klaus as a person. She has seen h at his lowest and highest. She knows him personally and powerfully. She knows his habits and behavior, but more importantly- she knows his heart.
She knows thar he does bad things and even holds him accountable for his actions. She is very hard on him, she challenges him to be a better to person not just for his family, but for himself (TVD episode 4X18 has all of this in a nutshell)
She also knows that he os dark and can be very cruel, ven towards her (TVD Episode 4X13). She knows this ces from a place of pain and paranoria. And more telling is that fact that he lashes out because he can love and doesnt want to be the person whoo just ... hates (4x14).
They are more than sex. They deserve more thansex. The way Julie has treated this pairing is ddespicable becuase thy have a lot of potential that has been more or less wasted.
The parallel betwen light and dark, good and evil, sex and intimacy lies in them. If given the chance... they could be revolutionary and could cause The Originals to go places it has never been to in ratings, social media presense, and critical acclaim.

I agree that there are romantic undertones to their relationship. Such is possible when there is an attractive man and woman whi get along really well.
I can see Steroline happening, but i am not happy about it. Them getting together and breaking up can become harmless to Caroline as a character. Inevitably, when there is trouble and turmoil, Elena will come first. This could damage Caroline's self esteem and revert her back to season ome status (nuerotic, needly, emotionally weak etc).
Also, i dont see Steroline as an "Endgame" couple. That position has been opened up to the Klaroline pairing (TVD 3X21, 4X23) and just fits for them.
Steroline will give into thier love and affection for each other, but i think they will fail to turn it into a believable and authentic romantic connection.
Haylijah on The Originals. They have such an intense emotional and psychical chemistry. Their bond is indeed a rarity. They have such a deep/natural connection. By far the strongest bond I have seen so far with the exception of Delena, feel the same way about them but on TVD.

Caroline hasn't had feelings for Stefan since 1x01. She has seen him like just a friend during 5 seasons and 3 boyfriends(Tyler, Matt and Klaus). And now, suddenly, she has feelings for Stefan. That's why Steroline doesn't make any sense in my opinion. They're great as friends but they're too forced as a romantic couple. Klaus made Tyler bite Caroline because he didn't know her well yet. But you're right. That relationship wasn't healthy beacuse of Klaus' behavior. He loved Caroline but he was always threatening her friends. Caroline is very loyal and he couldn't be with him. I voted Klaus and Caroline because I think they are the only ones who could be togetjer now because Klaus has changed a lot since he had her child.
Well , first of all this is the way i speak , i can be virulent in my word but that's the way it is and according to what you said i have many remarks on that : - 1) I dont think that Caroline ever loved Klaus . I think that he loved her but she never been in love with him. She felt a strong attraction for him , she was intrigue by this dark men but she wasn't in love with him. I remember in ep 3x21 , she gave a toast with her friend to celebrate the "death" of Klaus. Moreover she never showed an attachment to him. The only times she talked to him was because she needed something , or to tricked him or because it was an obligation. - 2) And for him ,i think that he loved her but it was a obsessive love . Plus , I think that he never put challenge himself to be a better person until he became a father . Caroline never had a real impact on him. The only times he showed mercy was in a way to have her , to 'win' her, to be in her good grace but not to become a better person. - 3) And i don't think that she know Klaus personnally , she only knew him during 1 years and a half , she doesn't know him. The only one who can say that are his siblings (moslty Elijah and Rebekah) and Stefan and Marcel. The rest just know some parts of him. - 4) And i think that Caroline is not good for Klaus at all because she's too much judgmental. She judge ALL THE TIMES. She even judge her close friend. Plus, she have ZERO empathy and understanding for people. She prooved it many times : when she didn't understand why Tyler needed revenge whereas it was logic. She didn't understand that Elena choosed Damon and judge her actions over and over again and in last season she didn't understand that Stefan needed space from everyone after the lost of Damon. The girl live in a bubble where she think that she's perfect and is the judge of everyone's actions and bahaviour and that , klaus doesn't need it !!! He need people who have empathy , who doesn't judge him all the time and stay by his side no matter what. - 5) Caroline is not a person who is faithful in her love or her commitment and i think that Klaus , who by away have serious trust issues , doesn't need that kind of person in her life.
So beside the fact that Candice and Joseph had a great chemistry , i don't see Klaus and Caroline as a couple.
Caroline put her feeling aside cause stefan was with elena and now that he is a free man she was hoping that he had some feelings toward her like she has had for him. At that time Klaus didnt even know the meaning of love all he knew was that he wanted her he does the same thing to his brother and sister he says he loves them but if they do any thing he didn't like in the coffin you go. To me he only wanted her cause his thing for loving women with blond hair his mom his sister caroline and that women from TO but the one time he isn't with a blond he has a child with her. Plus the reason he has changed is the people in his life right now and it isn't for Caroline like Elena is for Damon but for the baby. Some forget that it has to be a two way street, even if Klaus loved Caroline she has never showed that towards him never and she has shown a future with Stefan she even planed her wedding back then haha. I'll never get over Stefan/Elena. The writers ruined them for no good reason. They did a horrible job with getting Elena and Damon together and I never liked them together in that way in the first place.

For me its going to be the couple that I have been for since day one. And to me they have the best chemistry and he has always been there for her when he needed her like he is for anybody that needs him. Lots of people love Klayley I see. Klaus and Hayley have the best chemistry in my opinion. Their scenes are very cute and simple and not cheesy. They just talk and or tease each other like friends would and I like their cute dynamic. I always enjoy their scenes. 1. I think Caroline loves Klaus in her own way, just like Camille loves him in her own way. I think she has yet to truly fall in love with him. I think, when they will be together, she will fall in love with him and love him the way he deserves. The same will be for Klaus also.
I believe they are both capable of a pure- love relationship. Especially since he has a daughter, who will inspire him to truly love selflessly. Also because, once she leave Mystic Falls and stops allowing herself to be held back will she love the same. They both have to do some maturity before they are together. I voted for klaus and hayley aka klayley. Personally I enjoy their interactions and their natural chemistry. I'm happy the writers didn't rush into a romance with them like they usually would a couple with an unexpected pregnancy. I appreciate that the writers are taking their time to develop them, slowly and surely before klaus and hayley fall in love and I can't wait and hope that is the case. Either way I voted for them. I feel they would make a very good match and both bring out the best in the other it seems. First with Klaus training Hayley to becoming a hybrid and then with Hayley telling Klaus "Nothing true" I see a lot of potential with them as a couple. I just hope Klaus and hayley wake up and see that they would be really good together. But if they don't happen that's fine to. I enjoy their love/hate relationship and their burgeoning friendship :)

Klayley will remain the most liked The Originals couple. I love their chemistry and voted for them. Their connection, chemistry and understanding is really something unique that I have never seen in any other pairings in TVD or TO. And the fact that so many people support them after having 0 romance since they met, says a lot about the potential of their relationship. If anyone can be good for Klaus in his life, it's Hayley.
What is your problem? Do you just comment on every post that is for any ship you apparently hate and then go on and on about how much your ship is better or make fun of the person for liking their favorite pairing? Seriously get a life and leave people alone. Some people like Klaus and Hayley together. That's fine and compared to other ships they're doing fairly well in the poll apparently. So yes Klayley has fans. The show's romances are focused more on EH and Klami. Klayley is not nor has it ever been a romantic pairing. The media knows this, which is why it doesn't really focus on them, because the show isn't pushing them as a romantic pairing. So there is no reason for the media to promote them. Unlike ships like DE, KC, Klami, EH, those are all romantic ships that the show is/has pushed as romantic. Despite that fact Klaus and Hayley have never been romantically interested in the other and have other love interest many people still like them as you can see by the poll. Deny it all you want, but compared to the other potential pairings on the show, the poll shows they are doing well. So instead of degrading Theresa's opinion for liking a pairing why don't you focus on what you love and leave others alone.
Klayley is the only ship on The Originals that is not forced. If they are to become romantic, it will come naturally. But they have had the most realistic relationship so far, began with complete hate and now they have grown to care about one another after a period of time. Let me give you an example of forced ships: The big bad hybrid who kills everything in his way comes to the home of a blonde vampire girl to cure her and then three episodes later, he fancies her after barely knowing her and following her around like a puppy becoming OOC. (klaroline) The woman bearing his brother's child, met him in one episode and talked for a while. He gets daggered by his brother and comes back five episodes later to suddenly have romantic music playing in the background with his brother's baby momma (haylijah)

Twilight is not the only movie who has ever had a miracle baby in the plot. I am pretty happy with my ship because unlike yours, it has a real development while yours ended in the most humiliating way possible for a ship that has so many supporters. So that Klaus be with Caroline , she has to become a Camille ?!! Because when you say :"maturity" and "selfleness" i think Cami ! You recognize the fact that right now she couldn't be with him because of her personnality , so you recognize that she's the problem ! And i'm ok with that ! Lol . And i think that ,at the day of today ,she is the only one who didn't evolve , klaus did a bit but for her , ZERO change ! Beside the fact that i think that she could never become the woman that Klaus need , the most important thing is that she doesn't want to be a part of his life and told it specifically. Not necessarily. Even then it really doesn't remove the fact that they're still taking about TV shows. And there are some (albeit a minority at times) of shippers at least here who aren't always insulting to each other or have invalid points.

ReplyDeleteMost of them aren't real couples (I don't consider Klaroline a real couple any more than I would consider Caroline and Damon a real couple), I really liked Bonnie and Jeremy as a couple in the beginning, but the writers really screwed that one over by lazy storytelling and having most of their relationship happen off-screen to such an extent that the sequence of events made no sense. One day,Jeremy was conflicted and cheated on Bonnie with a ghost and then in the next season, Bonnie was the love of his life, but we never got to see how this happened.

ReplyDeleteSecond, i think it goes without saying that Klaroline is more than a sexual attraction. Yes, they do have that attraction and have given into it, but there is nothing wrong withsex in thier relationship and more to them than that.
Caroline understands Klaus as a person. She has seen h at his lowest and highest. She knows him personally and powerfully. She knows his habits and behavior, but more importantly- she knows his heart.
She knows thar he does bad things and even holds him accountable for his actions. She is very hard on him, she challenges him to be a better to person not just for his family, but for himself (TVD episode 4X18 has all of this in a nutshell)
She also knows that he os dark and can be very cruel, ven towards her (TVD Episode 4X13). She knows this ces from a place of pain and paranoria. And more telling is that fact that he lashes out because he can love and doesnt want to be the person whoo just ... hates (4x14).
They are more than sex. They deserve more thansex. The way Julie has treated this pairing is ddespicable becuase thy have a lot of potential that has been more or less wasted.
The parallel betwen light and dark, good and evil, sex and intimacy lies in them. If given the chance... they could be revolutionary and could cause The Originals to go places it has never been to in ratings, social media presense, and critical acclaim.

ReplyDeleteI agree that there are romantic undertones to their relationship. Such is possible when there is an attractive man and woman whi get along really well.
ReplyDeleteI can see Steroline happening, but i am not happy about it. Them getting together and breaking up can become harmless to Caroline as a character. Inevitably, when there is trouble and turmoil, Elena will come first. This could damage Caroline's self esteem and revert her back to season ome status (nuerotic, needly, emotionally weak etc).
Also, i dont see Steroline as an "Endgame" couple. That position has been opened up to the Klaroline pairing (TVD 3X21, 4X23) and just fits for them.
Steroline will give into thier love and affection for each other, but i think they will fail to turn it into a believable and authentic romantic connection.
Haylijah on The Originals. They have such an intense emotional and psychical chemistry. Their bond is indeed a rarity. They have such a deep/natural connection. By far the strongest bond I have seen so far with the exception of Delena, feel the same way about them but on TVD.

Caroline hasn't had feelings for Stefan since 1x01. She has seen him like just a friend during 5 seasons and 3 boyfriends(Tyler, Matt and Klaus). And now, suddenly, she has feelings for Stefan. That's why Steroline doesn't make any sense in my opinion. They're great as friends but they're too forced as a romantic couple.

ReplyDelete- 1) I dont think that Caroline ever loved Klaus . I think that he loved her but she never been in love with him. She felt a strong attraction for him , she was intrigue by this dark men but she wasn't in love with him.
I remember in ep 3x21 , she gave a toast with her friend to celebrate the "death" of Klaus. Moreover she never showed an attachment to him. The only times she talked to him was because she needed something , or to tricked him or because it was an obligation.
- 2) And for him ,i think that he loved her but it was a obsessive love .
Plus , I think that he never put challenge himself to be a better person until he became a father . Caroline never had a real impact on him.
The only times he showed mercy was in a way to have her , to 'win' her, to be in her good grace but not to become a better person.
- 3) And i don't think that she know Klaus personnally , she only knew him during 1 years and a half , she doesn't know him. The only one who can say that are his siblings (moslty Elijah and Rebekah) and Stefan and Marcel. The rest just know some parts of him.
- 4) And i think that Caroline is not good for Klaus at all because she's too much judgmental. She judge ALL THE TIMES. She even judge her close friend. Plus, she have ZERO empathy and understanding for people. She prooved it many times : when she didn't understand why Tyler needed revenge whereas it was logic. She didn't understand that Elena choosed Damon and judge her actions over and over again and in last season she didn't understand that Stefan needed space from everyone after the lost of Damon. The girl live in a bubble where she think that she's perfect and is the judge of everyone's actions and bahaviour and that , klaus doesn't need it !!!
He need people who have empathy , who doesn't judge him all the time and stay by his side no matter what.
- 5) Caroline is not a person who is faithful in her love or her commitment and i think that Klaus , who by away have serious trust issues , doesn't need that kind of person in her life.
So beside the fact that Candice and Joseph had a great chemistry , i don't see Klaus and Caroline as a couple.

Also because, once she leave Mystic Falls and stops allowing herself to be held back will she love the same. They both have to do some maturity before they are together. The both have to learn selflessness and learn to give and receive love.
Are Klaus and Caroline ready for each other yet and the pure, selfless, committing love they will have? No. But they will be and once that happens I suggest Klamille and Klayley move out the way.
Whether Klaus and Camille get together, or Klaus and Klayley,.. that's fine. But believe, Klaus and Caroline are endgame

I voted for klaus and hayley aka klayley. Personally I enjoy their interactions and their natural chemistry. I'm happy the writers didn't rush into a romance with them like they usually would a couple with an unexpected pregnancy. I appreciate that the writers are taking their time to develop them, slowly and surely before klaus and hayley fall in love and I can't wait and hope that is the case. Either way I voted for them. I feel they would make a very good match and both bring out the best in the other it seems. First with Klaus training Hayley to becoming a hybrid and then with Hayley telling Klaus "Nothing true" I see a lot of potential with them as a couple. I just hope Klaus and hayley wake up and see that they would be really good together. But if they don't happen that's fine to. I enjoy their love/hate relationship and their burgeoning friendship :)

ReplyDeleteI still believe ''klaroline is endgame'' because none of Caroline and Klaus ships are popular enough to get media attention and more fans.Steroline was nominated as the #1 worst ship of 2014.The media doesn't care about klayley/klamille.Klamille has 40 fans and klayley has 200 fans.lol...i'm laughing that klayley/klamille/steroline shippers thought last year that they can easily beat klaroline and soon klaroline will be a dead ship.They don't even know that only because of their agressive attitude,kc'ers are still attached to klaroline.Haters are our motivators.So i want to thank to all klaroline haters for this.

Klayley will remain the most liked The Originals couple. I love their chemistry and voted for them. Their connection, chemistry and understanding is really something unique that I have never seen in any other pairings in TVD or TO. And the fact that so many people support them after having 0 romance since they met, says a lot about the potential of their relationship. If anyone can be good for Klaus in his life, it's Hayley.

Do you just comment on every post that is for any ship you apparently hate and then go on and on about how much your ship is better or make fun of the person for liking their favorite pairing? Seriously get a life and leave people alone. Some people like Klaus and Hayley together. That's fine and compared to other ships they're doing fairly well in the poll apparently. So yes Klayley has fans. The show's romances are focused more on EH and Klami. Klayley is not nor has it ever been a romantic pairing. The media knows this, which is why it doesn't really focus on them, because the show isn't pushing them as a romantic pairing. So there is no reason for the media to promote them. Unlike ships like DE, KC, Klami, EH, those are all romantic ships that the show is/has pushed as romantic. Despite that fact Klaus and Hayley have never been romantically interested in the other and have other love interest many people still like them as you can see by the poll. Deny it all you want, but compared to the other potential pairings on the show, the poll shows they are doing well. So instead of degrading Theresa's opinion for liking a pairing why don't you focus on what you love and leave others alone.

ReplyDeleteKlayley is the only ship on The Originals that is not forced. If they are to become romantic, it will come naturally. But they have had the most realistic relationship so far, began with complete hate and now they have grown to care about one another after a period of time.
ReplyDeleteLet me give you an example of forced ships: The big bad hybrid who kills everything in his way comes to the home of a blonde vampire girl to cure her and then three episodes later, he fancies her after barely knowing her and following her around like a puppy becoming OOC. (klaroline)
The woman bearing his brother's child, met him in one episode and talked for a while. He gets daggered by his brother and comes back five episodes later to suddenly have romantic music playing in the background with his brother's baby momma (haylijah)

ReplyDeleteWhy would he kill Hayley? Tyler was the one who plotted against him in the first place. Hayley just helped. He didn't kill her because he wanted information on Katherine. He said "kill her and the baby" at the beginning because he was angry at the way his life was changing. Klaus is all about family. Shows how much you know about his character. Not killing Hayley and his child is not OOC, because that child is his flesh and blood. The baby is not a bastard, since Hayley is a Labonair and Hope has royal werewolf blood in her system, sorry to make you sound stupid. And he was OOC for not killing Hayley when she tried to abort his child? Do you even hear yourself? She was pregnant with his child. Maybe he didn't care about her at that time the way he cares now but killing her would mean killing his child, the only chance he has of having a child. Your points are all invalid. Congrats! Beside the fact that i think that she could never become the woman that Klaus need , the most important thing is that she doesn't want to be a part of his life and told it specifically. She doesn't want to stand his problems and drama. Caroline want adventures ,discover the world and klaus is not like that anymore.
He want something stable for the long term , he want to build a safe place for the people that he love. There are definitely not in the same page and i think that he deserve far much better than her !!

I went with klayley I think that's the couple name for klaus and hayley. I know the show isn't doing them as a romantic pairing but still i like them together and think they would be a good fit.
