  2. Geez is right! I think Kai is the scariest villain TVD has ever had. I don't know what reality he lives in - his own, I guess - but there's definitely no adult supervision there. You can't tell what rules, if any, Kai is playing by and that makes his actions unpredictable, shocking, cold and calculating all at the same time. In other words, scary.

  3. Hahahahahahahahaha he's such an asshole. LOL i love it!

"You all look so innocent, smiling like nothing bad will ever happen to you." Hahaha What a dick.

  5. OMG he is awful. Elena needs to stop acting like a scared little girl, though. The fact that she needed to be protected was endearing when she was human, but now she just makes a terrible vampire. I love her character, but there comes a point when even good people need to get mad and get mean to save themselves.

  6. I remember marveling at Chris Wood's talent when I first saw him as Kai. He went from playing a gay boy-next-door in the '80s to playing a total psychopath trapped in the '90s. He could probably do period pieces better than Joseph Morgan.

  7. I wouldn't say he's a better actor than JoMo but he's pretty good,especially in this role.

  8. you're right, that makes for a very formidable villain

  9. when i see him in this role, i still can't believe that this actor was really on The Carrie Diaries, it's a little hard to believe

  10. If she gets mean and kill Kai to get out, she'll be hated as someone who killed a popular character and as a killer because she's a protagonist and she's Elena, she shouldn't kill people and blah blah blah.
If she knocks him out, she'll be stupid because WHO REFUSES TO KILL THE BAD GUY?! Exactly like in 5x12 when she knocked out the traveller to stop the spell and to flee and people were bashing her for not killing her.
If she doesn't get mean and toughen up, she's weak and again hated for being a damsel in distress.
Somehow it's hard to be Elena these days.

  11. LOL. That line reminded me of her famous "It's Mystic Falls. Nothing bad ever happens here." and her future boyfriend, Damon, was like "Challenge accepted."

  13. I remember that. Which, if you think about it, is probably the same time, that Kai's looking at in the picture.

  14. Exactly! No matter what she does, Elena will always be hated by a lot of people. That's why i stopped arguing about her with people who don't like her.. I don't care anymore.. I do like her.

  15. Yeah, Elena is my favorite character and I don't bash her, but I'm starting to see why some people do. The trouble is, it's not a fictional character that's the problem. It's the way she's being written. Even in the books, Elena sacrificed herself at one point to save the people around her, but she was still tough as a vampire. She wasn't afraid to hurt anyone. I'm worried that the writers are using tonight's episode as some sort of do-over after last season, when Elena couldn't save herself. The CW tweeted "Can Elena be saved this time?" I don't think she should have to BE saved. If she's smart enough to be a doctor, she should be able to figure out how to save herself, even if she needs to find a way to do it without harming a character people like. Of course fans of other characters would still complain. That's the tragedy of the human race, especially in the digital age. There are way too many people fighting and complaining.

  16. I totally agree! Elena could be much more badass and save herself in that sort of situations. I loved it when she got trained by Alaric because she wanted to be able to protect herself from vampires. But it seems like the writers have totally forgotten about that. Or do you remember the scene where Alaric was holding her hostage in the school and when Damon, Stefan and Klaus came to save her, Alaric threatened Klaus but Elena figured out why Alaric didn't kill her so she threatend to kill herself if he doesn't stop? She was so smart and brave in that moment. Of course I don't want her to kill herself but that's the Elena I want to see! She has so much potential to become a strong badass women because in my opinion she already is strong .. she managed to get tru so much and she still keeps going and tries to be positiv. If half of what happened to her would have happened to me I probably would never leave my apartement anymore and cry 24 hours a day. She already IS a strong women, but she doesn't act like one .. and i wish the writers would change that!
BTW.. she is my favorite character too!
