    Agree. It will also explain how Cho is deeply affected, as Tim Kang said in one of his interviews too.

    Sad though, I'm beginning to really like Vega :(

    She's a likable character but not as loveable as Wiley or as deeply entrenched in our hearts as Cho. Makes sense that she dies

    they probably don't think people know who that person is. Yes they underestimate The Mentalist fandom as they always do. #UGH

    I guess they are going to give us shocks before last episode and the end. Most shows does that even tho i do not like it. Only in what i can be sure that Jane and Lisbon most likely will have happy ending but for the rest i'm not so sure.

    I don't think she is. When you watch the promo there is a scene from the funereal you see a woman in glasses that is Vega.

    Not so sure about Wylie but....
    I'm 99% sure it will be Vega. The actress who plays Vega wasn't in the shooting of the following episodes, so something happens with her in this one.

    Not Cho- you can see him in the foreground blurred, Don't think it's Wyllie because he's the tech guy and they need him- but perhaps Grace fills this role in the final episode. Was hoping for Vega/Cho, but think Vega or Abbott are the best candidates. As a reservist./army brat I think there would be a bit more military or her Dad would be up front in his uniform but the quality isn't good enough

    There has to be an explanation why Vega is NOT in the last 4 episodes, and her "just leaving" after half a season is too lame. I think she really dies, and I find it so SAD. And: Heller promised nobody would die in the FINALE. He didn't say anything about the episodes before that :(...

    Abbott has been on several BTS from the finale, too, so I think that rules him out. Vega is the most likely candidate.

    Wonder if the villain from this week ,Peterson ,has anything to do with next week's death. Still think it is Vega who dies because they went out of the way to make her likable this week. Usually the techs (Wylie in this case) do not die because they are so necessary to moving the plot along but as Amanda said , Grace could step in as we know she is returning. We should have known Heller would not have let us have smooth sailing and blue skies to the end. But do think Lisbon and Jane get their happy ending when all is said and done.

    Cho said in last epidose that he felt responsbile for Vega. And like someone said, the guy who plays him said he was going to be greatly affected in the last season. ergo he feels respobsbile for vega's death. plus the shot of wylie, has him looking mad as hell. so vega.
