  1. It's been awhile sense I voted any episode of any show awesome but I laughed throughout the entire episode. It was very cute.

  2. Tonight's Hart of Dixie was great! It had all the charm of Season 1 HOD. There was Zoe/Wade in reunion romance and banter mode, characters we haven't seen in a while, costumes with sequins, shenanigans, new romance, a victim, and mystery, It was a lot of fun to watch without having to be anxious.

  3. Loved it! Mystery Bluebell style did not dissappoint!
(though I did figure it was the Cheezies when they were introduced ;P )

Anyhooooooo, it was a fun episode. Town shenanigans are always fun with this show.
Glad to see Zoe and Wade being in such a good place, insecurities aside. And it was really fun to see them set aside from the rest of the town and the craziness. It works when they are the spectators of the town.
Definitely miss Tansy. She was a really good fit for George.
And I love Shelby/Brick! I love seeing him happy like that, and she IS nice and really cares about him, and his family. It was great to see Lemon slowly begin to turn around a bit when it came to this, even if a big gesture like that was required.

Not too hyped over the whole Lavon/Lemon thing. Never have been on board that ship really, so I'm not very on pleased with this direction, but meh... For such a great altogether episode I can deal with the storyline.

  4. I agree with you about Lavon/Lemon. Lavon needs to realize AB is the right girl for him and Lemon needs no man. She's great all by herself.

  5. I in no way think Lemon deserves to be a spinster. She want to get married and have a family and she should find a guy who can give that to her. But I do think she deserves better than the on;y toe options ever really offered to her: a guy who's used to her (George) OR a guy who idolizes the idea of her (Lavon).
I'm telling you, they need to bring back Jesse and have him romance the pants off her... now that might be a good fit for sure!

And I'll agree with you that Lavon and AB are a far better match for each other!!! I'm still not over how that whole debacle was handled.

  6. I just meant she was obsessed with having a man in her life since forever, she deserves a LOOONG break so she can focus on Fancie's. She can have a man in the last episode or something.

I had to look up Jesse because I forgot who he was. Hmm. He would be so much better fit for Lemon. Anyone but George or Lavon.

  7. I agree with you! I'm irked by this whole Lavon/Lemon thing.

  8. I agree, I'm not a Lemon/Lavon fan either and I really liked him with Annabeth. I'm pretty sure we're stuck with Lavon/Lemon though, the EP LOVES them together! I too have wished for a long time they could bring Jesse back, for either Lemon or AB. The idea of Zoe and Lemon eventually being sister-in-laws could be really funny but I also think Jesse and AB could be cute together. It would also be nice to see Wade repair his relationship with Jesse. For any of that happen though they would have to bring Jesse back for an extended time and I think that actor is on another show isn't he?
I've also thought that it wouldn't be horrible if the series ended with Lemon being a strong, independent woman. Not that I wanted her to end up alone or a spinster or unhappy, but when the show started Zoe was the one who was independent, strong, career minded, didn't need a man to be happy and Lemon was the more traditional "housewife", no career, supported by the men in her life type. It was one of the many differences in them. Lemon mocked Zoe for being her age (I don't think they said an actual age I can't remember) and being single in at least one early episode so I thought it was be an interesting role reversal.

  9. I'm not irked by it. Just don't like it... It does nothing for me. I see no real romance there.

All I see is an idealization of a possibility from both of them. One that hasn't been tested and which I think if it was an actual real thing it wouldn't be sustainable.

In some ways maybe it is better if they got together and saw the whole thing NOT work out so that they could move on. But I don't think that's the plan here, so I'm simply not finding it in myself to care about them.

  10. I dunno... she has more or less been alone since the end of S1. There have been rebounds, but nothing steady, nothing serious. So I wasn't opposed to seriously having her romantic situation be addressed again this season. I'm upset we're back to using George and Lavon for it though.

  11. I can't wax poetic enough about AB and Lavon. They were a match made in heaven and that they broke up made zero sense.... and the fallout from their breakup was even worse. Now that Zoe and Wade FINALLY have their $h!t together, they're at the top of the "relationships that need to be mended" list... So this whole Lemon/Lavon rehash just infuriates me.

Justin Hartley has has some recurring stints but I believe nothing super long term, so bringing him back shouldn't be that hard... I think...

Indeed there are quite a few perks with Jesse coming back, and actually I've been hoping he would come back for a Wade centric storyline, since we met him.

But I think he might have made a nice romantic foil for Lemon in the process too (not AB... I can't say I see them as a good match).
There are aspects of a Lemon/Jesse romance which wold work very well from a Wade/Jesse perspective too: Jesse always one upping Wade, and him possibly screwing Wade's friendship with Lemon in the process. There's some nice fallout that could come from that! One that could very nicely lead to the Kinsella brothers fixing their broken relationship.

And absolutely, seeing Lemon and Zoe become extended family would be Hi!Larious!!

Your point about the juxtaposition between where she and Zoe were at the begining of the series, versus where they end up is undeniably interesting, but my issue with Lemon ending the series alone, has nothing to do with thinking her being strong and independent is wrong. It has everything to do with her not wanting to be alone. And I want her to get what she wants, because I think she already IS strong and independent, even if on the surface she might not seem that way.
