  1. Is this whole task force thing with Lindsey a backdoor pilot or something?

  2. A few people have asked that but so far NBC will not comment. It comes across like their attempt to make Chicago Med a series.

  3. No, I'm sure it's not. Sophia Bush is the poster child for Chicago PD, the one they use for all their promotion. And there has been absolutely no talk of any spinoff. The only talk about another spinoff was for a medical drama called Chicago Med but they decided not to make another spinoff, so I don't see why they would make a spinoff with this.

  4. Oh, are the Chicago Med doctors back? (The video isn't showing up for me.)

  5. No, the actors of Chicago Med haven't returned yet but they still have scenes situated there.. I'm guessing if the task force stuff hits with viewers, they'll transition Sophia Bush back and some new character will transition as the lead to whatever task force may become.

  6. Like Bailey Chase (aka the Marlboro Man)? I like him, that might work. So long as Sophia stays with Chicago PD, which I am 100% sure she will.

  7. I don't think we will have to worry. I rally can't imagine any scenario where Lindsay and Voight isn't in Chicago PD and Severide and Casey isn't in Chicago Fire. There isn't any point to the series as they are the show and the marketing.

  8. Maybe NBC will make an announcement about a Sophia Bush spin off at the TCAs?

I'd watch a show that follows a national drug test force starring Sophia Bush.

  9. It's nice to see Atwater again.

  10. It's not going to work. Fire/PD worked cause the characters we come to know were part of it. Unless the PD characters guest star on this "pilot", nobody is going to care about Lindsay leading a group of people who don't know. Not happening. Also no offense but Lindsey is not that special to lead her own show anyways.

  11. I've really liked Chase from the bits I've seen of Saving Grace and Longmire and his arc on Castle. He plays a cop superbly well--as evidenced by the fact he has been a cop on all of those shows. He's one of those really good but underutilized actors. Lead of his own series would be well-deserved.

  12. Finally someone else who sees Sophia Bush isn`t the `show`, she isn`t that special and to be honest this isn`t even her best acting, the first few episodes of CPD her acting was horrible....Sophia could be replaced, there is NO replacing VOIGHT!! I totally agree I wouldn`t care to watch Lindsay leading a task force of people we don`t know or DO know for that matter.....We have CF and CPD I think that`s plenty....
