  1. Well We knew that was coming when the actress who signed on as Dr.Nieman had returned. The actor who reprises the role of Jerry Tyson 3XK was not far away.

  2. Wait...I haven't watched this show in ages but...3XK is STILL not done?!
Nothing against that tbh, a serial killer plot is still more gripping than the constant "Oh I luvz U, oh herez a murder...kissezz" pattern the show has fallen in

  3. I feel like this killer is the Pelant (from Bones) version for Castle. He and his many helpers never seem to die or disappear for good. Even dead Pelant still gets referred to on Bones.

  4. only that Pelant drew me away from Bones whereas 3XK actually has a creepy vibe to him.

3XK is kind of like Jigsaw on a level of creepiness while Pelant was...a pissed of geek with a computer

  7. Yea! Exciting. The 3XK storyline is really creepy and a great part of the Castle lore. Love Michael Mostey in that part.

  9. 3XK may be a creepy bad guy but he's running the risk of outstaying his welcome like Pelant did. Pelant's arc could have ended on a high note in the Bones Season 9 premiere. But, no, the writers kept him around longer which made him less of a compelling nemesis and more of a tiresome presence. In my opinion, when it comes to killers on TV shows like Pelant and 3XK, their arcs should only last three episodes. That's enough time to build them up as threats and have the good guys contend with them until they inevitably bring them down. One of the reasons why I love the Gravedigger from Bones is that her arc lasted three episodes.

  10. I love the two-parters (with the exception of the one from S4), they are always so much fun and this one sounds like it's going to be fantastic! I really like Michael Mosley as 3XK, as Ryan would say, he's "creepy good" and putting him with Annie Wershing's just as creepy, Dr. Nieman is stacking up to be, in a word, epic.

  11. I agree. I found the 3XK story line a bit more interesting then Pelant but it has still run its course. They should use this two parter with that actor to run this plots course to the end and make it the end of this serial killer. They should really take this story out with a good bang and make it memorable.

  12. Not so surprising, after all we all knew that his story was not told and not to forget he really hates them both so there is no way that they would miss the opportunity to bring him back and to tell his story fully.

  18. This is going to be a great two-parter. I hope Castle has the final showdown with Tyson to make up for the guilt he feels for Tyson escaping in season 3. Hopefully it will explain that Tyson was behind Castle's disappearance.
