    I want to see the team dealing with Oliver's absence and continuing the mission to honour him and protect their city but I'm not excited AT ALL about anything else happening in these episodes. Am I the only one? And seriously Thea is still training with Malcolm??!!!!!

    My expectations were never high to begin with so I won't be disappointed. That's a good thing I guess.

    I really dislike her a lot this season. Her storyline is terrible. She is trusting a psychotic mass murderer then lies to her brother to keep him safe!!!! And every time she refers to him as dad or father I want to throw something at her :/ I actually blame her a little for Sara's death. She knew what kind of a man Malcolm is and yet she trusted him completely and what a great choice that was!

    So, this promo made my "Malcolm saves Oliver theory" kinda wrong. The man knocks on a door. Someone is helping him on the other side.


    New guess? Maseo has Tatsu hidden somewhere in the mountains and she will take care of Oliver. Especially since Marc Guggenheim said we will see Katana. Not Tatsu, but Katana.

    Yeah, that's my problem too. It was supposed to be more about her this season, but they've made her more Malcolm's little pet than anything else, and there is a limit of what a person can come back from.

    Hm, someone had a good point once about that, for Thea's reasoning for that, but I do totally agree. I was really afraid of this the entire season and it's getting worse and worse... But I don't blame her for Sara's death, I just don't really know if she'll be able to live with herself once she does know, specially depending on how much the writers decided to let Malcolm have his way with her anyway before then.


    This show is also still giving way too much credit to Malcolm's character. I still get that John Barrowman is really great and all, but again he's just in the lair like it's nothing, and his word is decisive over Oliver being dead, when it's his fault.


    But again, it's really annoying, because they really seem desperate with the whole Thea storyline, to make it as shocking and unpredictable as possible, for people that want and are hoping for her to finally become Speedy. And, you know, actually have Oliver keep one freaking family member.

    Well, then this show is ruined for me, since the exact thing that Oliver said to Thea last season before she left, didn't mean badshit apparently.


    And why call her Speedy from the beginning, even already name Roy Arsenal, if you're gonna ruin your chance to actually make her Speedy, so you can make her a dumb character like Cheshire?


    And Oliver just can't have any family he cares for alive or on his side I suppose? How is this in any way a good thing for the show?

    1) We don't know how she is gonna be written. We shouldn't judge them without giving them a chance.


    2) The Speedy thing was just an easter-egg. If she isn't a villain or anti-hero i would rather have her being just a normal person. We already have too much superheroes in The Foundry(Green Arrow, Arsenal, Black Canary, Diggle and Felicity).


    3) I wouldn't call Cheshire dumb. It's a cool character. I still had wanted for them to introduce a new character to be Cheshire for Season 4's Checkmate storyline.


    4) I think Willa will be Cheshire because she couldn't say she was training with a sword when production begun. That must be a clue and Cheshire is the onlyone i can think about(Especially now, seeing the way she dresses).


    5) She will be alive and she will get on his side at some point. We don't know how they'r egonna write her. We don't know the big plan. I have faith in them.

    Merlyn hates Oliver, the SOB sent him to his death so it's in no way Merlyn, unless he's experimenting with the flower so it affects Oliver permanently and he has him under his control

    That's also a really big thing that I can't believe was just a tease and/or easter egg. Thea should actually be much better than Roy at archery, the trophies in her room showed enough that she's got the natural talent for it. Even the fact of Malcolm making Thea use bow and arrow to kill Sara can't just be a big tease to what she could be. Just on the right side and making her think logically. Not just wasting the sibling love between her and Oliver.

    I seriously didn't miss Thea at all when she was gone. The show could do without her. My big issue this season is how there is no balance between Oliver's public life and his life as The Arrow. I think that is part of why this season might be lacking for some folks.

    the mid season finale was awesome, but come on, who seriously believes that Oliver is dead (stays dead)? not even Game of Thrones kills off its core characters. I assume either Merlyn or Maseo save him or bring back to life with Arrow's adaption of the lazarus pit.

    I would love to share your enthusiasm but it's impossible for me to get excited about episodes heavily featuring YKW and CER BUT I'm glad that you are excited. I like that it's only three days after too; I don't like time jumps and I want to see the team's reaction although I'm dreading it a little. I'm way beyond the upset stage, I'm furious and starting to dislike her, which is a shame really I used to adore her relationship with Oliver :(

    it's not just you. I think Laurel was fine in season 1, but since season 2 she's super annoying. I think her being the new black canary will suck, Sara was the much better character. actually everyone is/was a better character than her. some terrible acting too.

    I have to believe so, yeah. I can't believe that they'd give Felicity a bigger part than she was ever meant to have, because of the fans, while she just wants Oliver exactly how she wants, and otherwise she'll just kick his heart when he's already down >.< Thea's Oliver's sister, they've shown time and time again, even the last episode, how much they love each other. In my opinion it would just be the biggest mistake the writers and producers could make ever on this show, to take that way from him. They can't.


    Not to mention, they can't just let Malcolm be THAT victorious, he's already getting EVERY freaking thing he wants, they can't let that keep happening like he's the main character and not Oliver. Besides, I can't imagine them just letting Oliver survive and go on like nothing ever happened, if they were actually gonna turn Thea full on evil, nor do I think they would have needed Malcolm to brainwash her with that plant to make her kill Sara.


    For now, their goal is still kind of obvious, they want to make people doubt what she'll become as much as possible, but also, this season is still about identity, so of course she'll seem to be going toward the freaking annoying Merlyn part now. But if they have any part of them, the writers and producers that is thinking logically, they'll know that they can't first make Malcolm use such a desperate measure, only to have her suddenly turn full on evil. If there is any realism left in Thea's storyline, keeping apart from a second wth they might be planning with that DJ douche... But once Thea finds that video and sees what Malcolm made her do, there is no way that she'll ever forgive him for that or trust him again. She put it in his hands so that she'd never be harmed or hurt again. Malcolm has not done that, but he's turned her into a freaking PUPPET, he ha taken every bit of control away from her. So, once she knows, I'm sure Malcolm dug his own grave, and I can't wait for this show to FINALLY start letting Malcolm get what he deserves, and not constantly what he wants >.<


    I'm just still more worried that when she does know, just because I still think there's that much good in her, past all the desperation against being lied to ever again, there still that much good inside of her. But maybe that much,that I'm worried she might want to kill herself for killing Sara... If Laurel doesn't turn full-on annoying again and just blindly wants to make the girl she wants liked and loved "suffer" or something >.<
