  9. So happy to see the Commandos again!

Very excited about this episode.Definitely seems like there'll be some Red Room connection.
I also believe that Steve's blood is what they're after. They've said that Agent Carter connects to the Marvel Universe in some ways and the writers said specifically to watch the last episode till the very end.
So,my theory..The Russians need Steve's blood for Bucky. To perfect the serum he was injected with. The way I see it,Zola was interrupted and the procedure was not complete. It would explain why no one,not even Steve, noticed anything during the war.In WS Steve seems to realize pretty fast that Zola is to blame for Bucky being a super soldier, which means that he was aware that Zola did something to Bucky, even if no one knew what that was,at the time. And if the procedure was complete during the first time Bucky was captured, they would have noticed some differences, even without the physical transformation that happened in Steve's case.
Still,Zola's first experiments must have done something to help Bucky survive the fall from the train. And now the Russians want to complete the procedure that will turn him 100% into a super soldier so that they can start turning him into the Winter Soldier.Erskine is dead,Zola is captured,so they don't have many options.Enter the vial with Steve's blood.

I really like this theory.Bucky needing Steve's blood to fully become a super soldier is kinda tragic,if you know what follows.I can easily see them going that way.

  12. but Leviathan is not connected to HYDRA

  13. Never said anything about HYDRA.It is however supposed to be a Russian organization.

In the comics,it's the Russians that find Bucky after he falls and turn him into the Winter Soldier. He is under the control of Hydra in CA:TWS but that doesn't mean they created him.It just means that someone at some point allowed them to use him.
While it's not quite clear who created the Winter Soldier in the movies,it is safe to assume it was the Russians and there are some hints that point to that.
During the flashbacks that Bucky experiences we see a man finding him after his fall and dragging him away. That man is almost definitely wearing a russian uniform.
Also, all the information we see on files about the WS are in russian. And while we see the Winter Soldier himself speaking english,he does so when responding to someone who has also spoken to him in english. The only time he speaks without being spoken to first,is to give a command to his men and that's in russian.

These are all small hints,I know, but I'm pretty sure that they won't change that part in the movies. The whole thing with Steve's blood is just a theory and I could be way off,but the fact that it's the Russians and not HYDRA doesn't mean anything.Quite the opposite,I'd say.
