27 years after a virus wipes out most of humanity, scientists send a man (James Cole) back to 2015 to stop the plague from ever happening. Cole's only lead is a virologist (Dr. Cassandra Railly), who knows the dangerous source of the outbreak.

    While the trailer for this looked good, I am still not sure how they will extend this to serialized format and keep it interesting. Maybe that is just me though.

    It will be unavoidable for the series to be compared with the movie and it will loose.There is very,very little chance for the series to be as good as the movie.
