  1. as they have never shown her face they are in a unique position to go anyplace with her character

  2. I'd say keep her voice around. She will be forever immortalized with that voice.. HOWARD!!!!!

  3. I always just assumed it was the actor that played Howard that did her voice since they both have the same inflection in their voice so I'd say just have him do it.

  4. How sad :( I don't watch, so when I saw the title I thought it might be some character. So many young people are dying these days

  5. The best option is to kill off Howard's mom. It could be a very emotional episode, but an important episode in Howard's development as well.

Another option could be her and Stuart moving, but also with the death situation, Howard and Stuart could become closer friends. I wouldn't even be surprised to see an arc where Stuart moves in with Howard and Bernadette.

  6. I'd say just have her move, it would be just to emotional for me and Howard to deal with her death on screen:(

  7. She calls Howard to take her to the hospital because of chest pains. The gang rest of the gang is sitting around making jokes about her large chest. Flashback to the scene where Sheldon takes her shopping and she asks him to help her get her bosoms into the dress. Then they get a call from Howard that she has had a serious heart attack and they all go to sit with him. Hospital scenes are interspersed with scenes where each cast remember flashes to a memory of Mrs. Wolowitz from an episode. There are moments of warmth and laughter, and then shock when the doctor comes out to inform Howard that his mother has died.

I think that would be a good way to have Mrs. Wolowitz/Carol Ann memorialized.

  8. I think it would make the most sense for her to be killed off. Hopefully how they write Howard 's reaction plus how he acts at the viewing/funeral would finally get Simon a much deserved Emmy nomination. He's deserved it for years in my opinion.

  9. She was 62. Not very old, but not young either.

  10. But I think that is something Howard as a character needs.
He has been his mommy's boy for too long. He is already married. His mother's death could push the character development forward.

  11. For the funeral picture, they could use actual Carol Ann Susi's photo (if her family agreed).

  12. I would too. I've been thinking about it for a while.

  14. You are right, even though it's painful to admit Howard has been a mama's boy forever, it would lead to some very interesting stories as well, it was just so sad to hear of her death, just her voice was always so darn funny, you're right again he has moved on he's got a life with Bernie now!!

  15. Keep and use her voice - the best option.
