    They all look bemused in their own way.

    Nina looks bored, Ian looks like he had to be woken up for this, and Paul is giving a "just take the damn picture already" look.

    This is supposed to be a poster of Stefan, Elena and Damon, not Paul, Nina and Ian. Since everyone is reading things into their expressions, here's my take: Stefan looks cautiously hopeful, recognizing he has feelings for Caroline and considering overcoming his fear of getting close to a woman again and taking a chance with her. Nina looks worried and sad; her best friend is stuck all alone in 1994, and her need to resolve her attraction/repulsion toward Damon is weighing heavily on her. Damon looks unhappy yet fiercely determined; his heart is breaking over losing Elena when he thought he'd finally "gotten the girl", and he misses Bonnie, but he intends to get both of them back.

    To be fair JTV is actually pretty good. Reign though sucks. I don't mind though, because I feel it just shows that they're not afraid of Arrow or Supernatural (granted I really don't give a flying fuck about Supernatural anymore- honestly it needs to die) fans needing to be reminded that it is returning- unlike TVD which has seen a big ratings decline and most fans agree that the last season sucked balls. I take it more as a sign of faith in the fans. And honestly again posters just aren't my thing, unless they're really artistic and creative and Arrow's posters have never been either.

    I don't even watch this show much but I'm sorry even I had to comment on this really bad photo of ridiculously good looking actors. I feel like everyone is doing their best Zoolander impression minus Nina who looks like she is bored and thinking about what she is going to do later in the day when the shoot is done. WOW this is seriously odd photo choice. Please someone photoshop Zoolander in that photo because I would laugh my butt off.

    Well, if it makes you guys feel better, this doesn't seem to be a photo meant to be made as an actual poster. Anyone remember the horrendous promotional materials the network did for Gossip Girl Season 3 and 90210 Season 2? Those were quite amateurish, and I'm saying that as a fan of the latter.


    Out of all the possibly better shots of the same shoot the CW's marketing department could have used, why this?

    Elena looks all alone and is regretting her decision to erase her memories and Damon and Stefan look straight ahead as if they are keeping calm and carrying on. LOL Well that is the sense I feel that the director of this shot was trying to convey. I imagine Elena is gonna see Bonnie and Damon buddy up and how genuine their friendship is and she is gonna wish she never compelled her memories.
