    I thought Eddie came from the future and inserted himself into Barry's life? You know because he appears right before Barr's accident and happens to show up right when Iris' laptop was stolen and Barry went after it but I guess this means a future version of Eddie is the reverse flash.

    if you wanna go back to the first episode slow down the part when reverse flash is in the house with barry's mother and your see that flash is also there fighting reverse flash (you can see both the red and yellow flashes chasing eachother around the room and also the red 1 stop in the middle) also the future stuff dr wells newspaper thing is only 10 years in the future a lot of people saying eddies son and so on but that would make no sense about the flash missing in action

    also the whole reverse flash with red eyes stuff could have something to do with that meta human who gives people inner rage from the previous episode? maybe barry from a alternative universe? where arrow wasnt there to save him from his inner rage and somehow managed to find a way to travel through time and other universes??

    The "alone in the dark" throughline is just an awesome premise for the promo...but I should have watched this one before I watched the extended Arrow promo. I would have been blown away by this one, but after Arrow, this lost a touch. My fault. If only I could go back in time...

    Wait, I don't understand this concept (please forgive my non-comic book reading self), if Eddie (future or present) had Flash-like abilities, wouldn't he know already?


    He didn't believe the Flash even existed and his one defining character trait is being slow on the uptake, so I can't believe is suddenly going to turn out to be a great liar, He wants to stop the Flash because he doesn't trust metahumans. that doesn't make sense if he is a metahuman?

    If he's from the future, he's probably not a metahuman YET, but comes back in time after he's gained his Reverse Flash powers. Keep in mind, just a theory. I for one, doubt that present Eddie has anything to do with anything bad at this point.

    Some sort of accident in 2024 caused the Rage-Eye Dude to escape, he mind-whammied Barry, and the Reverse Flash is Barry from the future. That's why he disappeared, he went back in time. Would be cool, if completely crazy.

    hey a nice little 'what if' thing to think over here, they are making out that reverse flash killed barrys mother BUT what if the writers throw in a little shock
    because in some gif's online from the first episode you see red and yellow flashes around barrys mother and the red flash stops infront of barrys mother (the flash),



    so it was a time travel thing where reverse flash went back to kill barry's mother and flash went back to stop him also but barry ended up killing her BY ACCIDENT trying to save her, this would explain why he doesn't know he did it cause it hasnt happened yet and he thinks it was reverse flash that killed her and only reverse flash knows it was really barry that killed her

    Nope he's going to do it by accident in this episode from what I heard probably to see The Reverse Flash kill his mom again I wish we could see his face though it's going to suck when we have to wait until the second half of the season to find out.

    I'm aware it's Professor Zoom (though he can also be called Zoom). Nor I do . But Eddie (or at least the current Eddie isn't) In the promo for 1x09 Zoom, Eddie and Wells are in the same room.

    They're two different people though so I thought you meant the other reverse flash. I was thinking it could be a past or future version of Eddie I just hope we find out tomorrow because that's when we usually find out who the big bad really is by the midseason finale unless they're doing this differently than Arrow.
