  1. Ingrid sacrificing herself made me sad. Noooooooooooooooo, don't die! And why can't Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff stay? Or at least get their own spin-off?

And LOL, I'm pretty sure David was turned on by Snow and Regina fighting.

  2. AWESOMENESS!! Ingrid you beautiful soul.

Ingrid wondering around Boston in the past reminded me of Enchanted. Lol, at her telling of the sorceress, her name is Emma Swan! Wow, Gold wants to take Henry and Belle to New York.

Lol, at Kristoff doubting his haircut. yes, I have missed you too Evil Queen :)

Ingrid protecting Emma was so nice and telling her what Kevin is afraid of, she does care. Lol, someone slip me a poision apple and put me out of my misery. Hahaha, at Charming telling Kristoff why are you selling ice when the whole place is Frozen :) The entire bantering in the Sheriff's stations is gold!

The ribbons are flowing with love unequal, wow! Loving the Galavant and Into the Woods promos airing during OUAT :) Also the Fresh of the Boat one too, I am so excited for that show.

There was a Dalmation toy, Cruella hint :) Those flasbacks were awesome, loved that Ingrid wanted to be a big sister to Emma, her intensions seemed genuine and Emma loved her. Emma really angered Regina but the ribbions are gone, yes! Haha, a dirty pirate, I bathe frequently. Lol, Henry. I wish I could poof home like Harry Potter too Emma :)

Oh God No! A truamatic experience, Ingrid holding Emma's hand was scary. I can tell she just wanted to help her come to realisation with her powers, when she was crying out that was heartbreaking. Haha, magic is too good for you, I want to watch you bleed, the Evil Queen is back. Lol, at 'I don't know who you are but why don't you go back to where you came from.

"I pick flowers, I talk to birds. Know what else? I KILL. still want to hold hands and sing 'Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah?" this is too funny :)

Ingrid is in Storybrooke! Get in your head lady, were not your sisters, we don't love you. The funny thing about time is that were romanticse the good times, love this quote.

Magic cant create love, I know you have forgotten but you did love me once.

Oh god, Emma and Ingrid meeting at the Ice Cream shop, are you following me, lol. Sheriff Graham, memories :(

Ingrid took her memories away with Pabbie's rock. At least she gave her Rocky Road, love Elizabeth Mitchell's laugh :)

Hahaha, careful of the stroller. The sword fight between Regina and Snow was EPIC!! Do Not Wake My Baby! Damn, they are getting thrown around like crazy! Anna found her parents letter, yes! Lol at Anna, I'll be right back, stay here, he cant move Anna :)

Anna same to save the day! Elsa and Anna, we were wrong to conceal her powers, it happened before and I was wrong to coneceal them. I was fearful, I let that fear hide me, I should have celebrated her. Please return my sisters memories. Release her, pleae tell her I love her and I am sorry, I would give anything to hold her hands one more time. I had a feeling the letter would be something along these lines. Anna, family never gives up on each other.

Gerta, what have I done, I need to reverse this, DONT KILL YOURSELF INGRID!

THIS Scene!! Incredible, what courage, Ingrid loved her sisters, all she wanted was love, the letter gave her that, the sisters running on the field... I love the score playing, such beauty. Elizabeth Mitchell, you stole and broke my heart. It's snowing! Regina: what am I wearing, all the laughs :)

Oh no! Rumple wants like world domination or something. The promo! A Dalmatian is here OH MY GOD! We will be the victors, Ursula, Cruella and Malificent and she looks like the movie!! I cant wait!!!

  3. I admit it. I teared up when Ingrid sacrificed herself and said all she ever wanted was her sister's love. Best ending to a villain's arc yet.

    ReplyDelete
  4. They can get their own spin-off in Arandelle

  5. This episode tied up the Snow Queen's story with a pretty bow (or ribbon). I've really enjoyed the Frozen characters coming to Storybrook and will be sad to see them leave. Especially because I wanted to see more of Anna and Kristoff together. All is want now is for Hook to get his heart back and for everyone to realize he was under Rumple's control. I have a bad feeling though because of Emma's talk with Killian about how she's lost every man she's ever loved. Her comment now seems to be a tragic foreshadowing of what may happen to Hook.

  6. I'm really glad the writers realized Ingrid was capable of redemption and gave her that happy ending. And a round of applause for Elizabeth Mitchell for absolutely killing it every week.

    ReplyDelete
  7. because the last time a OUAT spin-off went SOOOO well ;)

however I think the current Frozen hype could help that possible spin-off

    ReplyDelete
  8. From what I know Frozen 2 is in the works and Frozen Fever, a short is coming out next year with Cinderella :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Good for post S1 OUAT, mediocre overall.

The show definitely needs to give it a rest on killing women while giving the men a pass though.

The Evil Queen/Snow White scenes were the only real draw of the episode and they were really lacklustre. There should have been something new there. And Charming definitely should have said something about how shitty a mother Snow is.

I'm very glad the Frozen storyline is over because as great as Elizabeth Mitchell is, her storyline was really, really weak and nonsensical.

I do hope that 4B really goes full out with Rumple as a villain though. That would be a saving grace of it. As long as Belle gets to leave him.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Loved it! Will miss Anna, Elsa and Kristoff though. Wish this arc was longer.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm excited for both of those but I want a spin-off with these characters.

    ReplyDelete
  12. This was a great end to a villain arc.... true sacrifice. Shame Ingrid didnt mention that Rumple is also behind this - and manipulating everyone.

Hook and Henry lol... Hook and Will lol

Emma and her curls - cool.

Hook's last dying wish is that Emma and everyone in Storybrooke be ok (that Rumple doesnt cause damage on them) :(

    ReplyDelete
  13. I want Hook to get his heart back. Someone has to find out he doesnt have his heart.... got a feeling Belle might find out esp if she was fake sleeping and heard Hook and Rumple

    ReplyDelete
  14. Love it sad that Ingrid sacrifice herself but at least she learn Gerda love her Snow and Regina fight was epic hope we get to see Snow be more bad ass seriously Will Scarlet aka The Knave is a lover not a fighter oh Rumple that's all I have to say about him at the moment
My theory is Belle knows what Rumple is up to and she will stop him and somehow release everyone who is in the hat because I believe Ursula and Maleficent also Cruella Deville are in the hat and they are going to be the next villains they are going to fight

    ReplyDelete
  15. agree agree agree. I think the Hook storyline is also over, and I want to know if they'll get rid of Belle or still keep her in the show. I feel so bad for Emilie de Ravin.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The flashback explained alot. Ingrid arriving here in 1982. The jumping to 1999 where we see everything from the video and seeing Ingrid and Emma's relationship. We see that Emma did have a little magic in her when in 99. Then we see Ingrid arrives in Storybrooke. We also see that The Apprentice gave Ingrid the scroll. then jumping to 2011 b4 Graham was killed and the curse was born. Some plot holes were filled. But just have to wonder, how did Ingrid get her magic once in Storybrooke? or did she have that memory stone the whole time so she didnt need any magic to use it. Then i need to know how Ingrid was able to target Emma's memories of her.. plotholes.. oh well

I loved the spell of Shattered Sight. It really did bring out the worse in everyone. the worse part were really funny. Everyone had a zinger. Henry pulled Home Alone on Henry. Bada** Snow White. The return of the Evil Queen. I loved the fight between Snow and The Evil Queen and then they laugh it off as soon as the spell was lifted. The Dwarfs fighting in the street. Rumple explaining why Hook wasnt effect because he didnt have his heart. Why Belle had to sleep through all of that? I was hoping to see Racey Lacy again oh well. I feel like Will was wasted in this episode. At least his part gets bigger in the 2nd half of the season

It's interesting how the note from Gerda was the key to solving the problem. I'm so sorry to see Ingrid gone. I wanted her to stay ... She literally redeemed herself before killing herself. She died a hero. I didnt know Gerda was the only who kept her memories. I swear Grand Pappy took everyone's memory in the land including Gerda.

A storyline ended early again, just like the Cora storyline and the Zelena storyline.

This episode get 8.5 out of 10 mainly because the Evil Queen didnt lick the sword like in the promo pics. I wanted to see that so bad

that promo for next week has me real excited!

  17. "The show definitely needs to give it a rest on killing women while giving the men a pass though."

I'm sorry? Just as many men have died on this show than women. Graham, Neal, Greg, Pan, Felix, Daniel, Walsh, Stealthy, King Leopard, All of Anton's family...

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think Hook will be fine. He has been and always was suppose to be different from the other men who didnt stick around or didnt choose her. But Hook has always chosen Emma, loves her unconditionally and comes back to her.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hook and Henry - i got some home alone feels there lol
I have to say that was such a great ending to Snow Queen arc! Thats how you do it.
Hook and his last dying wish is for Emma and her home - her family and storybrooke that they are safe because Rumple doesnt give a two hoots just like before, he who devastated a whole EF for curse would give a two hoots to anyone else anyhow... why am i not surprised!
I so wanted them to find out about Hook's heart.

What a fight between Regina and Snow, Regina looked even more EVIL then before. And then the laughing lol

    ReplyDelete
  20. I loved how the Snow Queen sacrifice herself to end the spell.

Oh man, a lot of things to say. This was a pretty good episode. The pacing was great and it wrapped everything up nicely. I wish they hadn't used one episode to do so, felt a little bang, bang, bang, but I think OUAT likes to have us all, "huh?" for most of the season until the end when it all the pieces come together. Young Emma and the Snow Queen's scenes were a highlight, acting wise, and as background for Emma. I can't believe it took till season four to do so, but I'll take it because my heart was truly breaking for Emma and understood her even more. Even if she didn't remember, it just showed a glimpse of what happened to her over and over again. I like the Snow Queen's sacrifice, even if her complete 180 was a little unrealistic. I think we knew all along that the Snow Queen was a redeemable villain and just a wee bit off her rocker since killing her one sister and the other putting her in a urn. That being said, I think this episode was the only one that truly worked concerning the Snow Queen. Otherwise the plot throughout the first half of the season was a little weak and all over the place. I guess it did give us a way for Emma to come into her own even more though.

While I loved that Snow and Regina started cracking up after their fight because they are so beyond that, I wish Snow and Charming would have gone for the jugular a little more. Charming could have said stuff about Snow putting their son first over Emma and thinking she can have some sort of magical redo and maybe Snow could have said sure, it's easier for Charming to take care of Emma because she's all grown up. I also would have liked a little hesitancy between them afterwards, so that some of the things they said could be discussed at a later date. It would have given their relationship arc a realistic bump or a twist in the road, but it was just washed over.

Now, as for Emma and Hook, whose relationship is the reason I got back into the show in the first place. I knew this episode was going to be used solely to defeat the Snow Queen, but I was a little annoyed we didn't have Emma finding out in the final minutes about Hook, or at least looking around and asking where Hook is after the spell was broken. And as for the promo for the next the midseason finale, I thought they would have built it all around Belle and Rumple and Hook and Emma and all of their impending relationship doom. I don't feel like it's necessary to already be amping us up for 4B's villains when we still have some major unresolved business with Belle and Emma not knowing what Rumple and Hook are up to. If they are really trying to stretch that out till 4B I'm going to be annoyed. But hey, promos can be deceiving, Rumple did say he has to wait for some stars to align that night or the next night (I can't remember), we do see Hook in pain as if his heart is being crushed, and the producers said Belle does something brave and heroic in the next episode, so maybe we are going to finally see everything with that hit the fan. I did see a theory that the hat contains Cruella, Ursula, and Maleficent. AKA when Rumple's plan is thwarted, they come out of the hat at the end of the episode like all, heyyy. Though Cruella doesn't have magic as far as I know, sooo.

Last thing, while I love how this show is centered around women, mothers and wives and friends who are complex characters, I wish they could switch it up with some male villains. I guess Disney/fairytales don't give us tons to choose from, but come on.

  22. Loved it. That was the best episode this season. I've loved the whole Frozen story line and I'm going to be sad that they'll be gone. I love how the writers of this show just keep coming up with so much great stuff.

  26. Will Frozen Fever come out on DVD?Idk how it is with short FIlms.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes, usually Disney shorts go up to 5 minutes like Tangled Ever After. So I think it will be attached to the Cinderella DVD/ Blu-Ray Release, they might release it own its own since we got 2 Frozen DVD's, the normal version and then a Sing-a-long version but its most likely to be attached to Cinderella :)

  28. Beautiful ending. Ingrid found her sisters at the end. Loved that.
    Those laughs were everything.

  31. Elizabeth Mitchell is so perfect as Snow Queen, love every second of her appearance. One of the best castings on OUAT!!!!!

  32. Ok, you've done it again echoed all my thoughts beautifully, now I don't have to, you've articulated better than I could have ever done Thank you, I just got to add AWESOME episode!!!!!!

  34. hey some people actually liked Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

  35. AWESOME EPISODE WHOOO!!!! Ingrid redeeming herself at he end was awesome but i was hoping she would tell them about gold because i'm tired of people thinking he's good and damn it Hook tell them you have nothing to lose now so you might as well, i can't believe Henry Home Aloned him LOL, and the Will storyline needs to go somewhere as funny as the fight was, the Sherriff's office were hilarious, even fighting Mary Margaret and David love the baby

    ReplyDelete
  36. It was fun and touching ... Actually didn't think Ingrid would come around on her own. Thought the bottle would have contained some type of counter spell. But I guess in some ways it did.

Loved Regina. She really wasn't as bad though. I mean, could Emma have provoked her more than she did. Think not. Kind of selfish, really. Not being a "friend", Emma. Knowing how scared Regina was she would hurt someone, Emma just let's her out like that - after having lit her temper on fire.

Loved Evil Snow. Best fight ever. Glad they finally got that out of their systems.

    Funniest quotes:

"Ice is a very important commodity" - LOL

    "I was teeeeeeeeeeeen" - LOL

  37. It seems my hatred for Ingrid carried on until the end; I hated almost every scene related to her. Sorry, I tried, but I just couldn't like her character AT ALL.

Aside from that, this episode was a blast! It was so immensely funny that it makes me a bit surprised that these guys haven't made a comedy series yet -their timing for lines and jokes where just spot on!

It was a really enjoyable hour of television, though it is not my personal favorite from OUAT. Still, really hilarious!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'd be fine if they did "Once Upon a Time in Arendelle". I think I would watch it regularly

    ReplyDelete
  39. I agree with everything you say especially about Emma and hook. I am getting a little tired of the constant drama. This has gone on long enough and it's time that the whole heart thing is out threat and they finally move forward. The last two episodes had great opportunities for some serious commitments to each other in the face of what was happening and we are still waiting! There really needs to be a pretty EPIC Emma and Killian moment or several in 411. I really felt that after the emotional goodbye in 409 then Emma and Killian should have seen each other too at the end. All we have really gotten since the beginning of season 4 is that they do care about each other but still no real commitment or telling each other they love each other, it is time! And not waiting until sometime in 4b.

    ReplyDelete
  40. please no, they are too overrated. Bring Hans and his 12 brothers to Storybrooke better

  43. Danielle Nordahl8 December 2014 at 06:19

I agree! There were a lot of perfect opportunities in the past couple of episodes...but I just keep telling myself they are waiting for an even better moment (preferably one where Hook has his heart back). Just like how Snow and David had to overcome/make peace with Regina before their happily ever after, Rumple is that to Hook and Emma. While I'm a little mad they drudged that old issue up, it hadn't been resolved or dealt with, so it was something they could use to create drama and hopefully, take Emma and Hook to that next level. Because while I think she was worried about losing him before, nothing will make her realize her feelings quicker than when she finds out Rumple has Hook's heart. I think they deserve a full out, epic, happily ever after moment like Snow and Charming have had. Based on how lovey dovey they seem to be filming 4x12 and 4x13, I'm hoping it's because of what goes down in the midseason finale.

  44. WHY THE HELL AT LEAST ONE VILLAIN CAN'T HAVE A HAPPY ENDING?!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well technically she got her happy ending. She came to peace with tragedy of her life. The others accepted her and would of let her join them. And she ended her spell, to what I assume let her move on to heaven and be happy with her sisters.

Very bittersweet and heartbreaking, but at least she died happy and moved on to a better place

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think you're right about David. :-)

  47. I've been enjoying the insane women on TV this season. I liked the way they ended the story. I've been more satisfied with this story than any other in the past 2 seasons.

  48. Such a good episode.
Was I the only one who got teary-eyed when Elsa was reading that letter and when Ingrid sacrificed herself?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well awesome episode, but too bad of Ingrid.

  55. How much of a hero Hook has become! His dying wish being to Emma and her family to be let it be made me love him even more!
NOW, please, can someone notice that he is heartless and help him? I would love Emma but at this point Belle would be fine! Just stop hurt him lol!!!
And also I would love to see Belle stand up and be the independent and smart woman she is and step away from Rumple. He kinda need that so he can turn away from darkness.

Plan renovation work. Price subject to negociation.

    ReplyDelete
  57. yes, what calms my heart is the spoilers pics from next half of the season, Hook seems all lovebird and probably has his heart back (hopefully), and considering the intimacy they are sharing (arms around each other and holding hands in the street) I think their feelings will be spoken at some point in the finale. In another hand, the lack of the subject in the promo worries me!

  59. OMG!!!!! It was fu*king AMAZING!!!!!!! I loved it, the best of the season so far, and I cried like a baby when the snow queen died, and her speech, it surprised me. And Ingrid and little Emma´s scenes were amazing and the evil queen and emma, it was all amazing, loved it.

  60. I think that the stone itself had the magic, not Ingrid, and because Storybrooke had a little magic whe it appeared, because it was created by magic, then she made the stone work, that would also explain the true love´s kiss in 1x22, the town itself had a little magic, Emma as well, so the curse broke with the kiss, at least that´s what I think

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jamie Coudeville8 December 2014 at 13:12

Not bad but had a huge continuity error though. How could Ingrid take away Emma's memories when magic hadn't returned to Storybrooke yet?

  63. Whoa! How can this top last episode, since last episode was one of the best!

The last scene when Ingrid finally realized was top-notched! But is it just me or is anyone bothered by the fact that Emma is the savior but it's always another thing that saved the town. It was Rumple (oh by the way, I hate him) who saved the town from Peter Pan, it was Regina who defeated Zelena, and it was Snow who killed Cora. So, I lol'ed when Emma was like, "I'm the savior".

So, how is the gang going to stop Rumple now? I wouldn't mind if Rumple is really dead this time around.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think you're making sense. The people didn't have magic, but the materials did.

    ReplyDelete
  65. yeah, i noticed that : i think her role is not "to do" but "to make people do" (by self knowledge).

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yes, now that I remember, some objects from Regina´s vault had magic, and her ring as well, that´s how she activated Jefferson´s hat in season 1

    ReplyDelete
  67. I guess that makes sense too, like she was the one who convinced Regina that she had light power if I'm not mistaken. But she did not make Anna save the day this time around... So, I'm still waiting when Emma will be the true savior, like ultimately the town's savior.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Exactly! The hat! I remember the hat too. So, now your theory is stronger.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I've seen comments that said that this Frozen arc is badly written. I dare them to write better. This season has been giving me high quality entertainment.

    ReplyDelete
  70. It WAS hilarious, I agree! Snow and David's banter was enjoyable to watch.

Among the things that made me laugh out loud:

    1) David: Hey, I wasn't the one who told Cora about your secret boyfriend!
Snow: Are you selling me out??

    2) Emma: *Looking at Regina's outfit* Whoa, little late for Halloween.
    Regina: You!
Emma: How do you walk in that thing?
Regina: With the poise and composure of a queen....

    3) Regina: Perfect timing! I was just reading up on how to turn you into a garden topiary!!
Emma: *what the hell is she talking about?* (her face cracked me up)

    4) When Will failed miserably to punch Hook.

    ReplyDelete
  71. God, OUAT keeps getting better and better, my favourite seasons are 4 (so far), 3, 2 and 1.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well poor or awful is really exaggerated but some people do think the Frozen arc need to end, that it's bad and they think it's what most people think as we think it's good for the majority. From what I see, Ingrid is a good villain to most people but the Frozen characters are there too much. The arc may please more Emma fans than others especially for Regina after an arc focused on her and her sister. So it really depends on the characters you like or the distance you can take from them.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I just saw that the end with Ingrid paralleled another thing and that makes it even worse. Good episode really, I was afraid that the spell would be a big mess but it was handled well (except maybe for the rest of the inhabitants I found it really weird). The EQ and Evil!Snow were amazing but I'm glad it didn't affect her and Charming too much tho I don't mind some drama for them. The idea of an unequal love and hate were pretty good. I'm not fond of of their habit to say "i'm a hero/villain/savior" so when Anna said "is that a real job here?" I loved her even more. The fact that she will go is breaking my heart. Elsa too especially the possibility of such a good friendship with Emma. It lacks and I don't think the trio of villains will be besties with her.
Also I loved the flashbacks, seeing Ingrid in casual clothes, really close to Emma was heartbreaking. But at the same time I couldn't forget what she did before and after that. Her sacrifice was sad but beautiful, I like unredeemable villains but here it was a villain making the ultimate sacrifice. And with a gorgeous music, I hope someone will isolate it very quickly!
Side note : I want Marian and Hook's storyline to move forward. And for Hook, it will appear that Belle comes into play so I'm waiting for that. And for her to get away from Rumple for some time (I like Rumbelle but here she has to)

    ReplyDelete
  74. I will add : I love the show despite some things but I loved that they sometimes made fun of the show in the episode with the spell. Or when they laughed it was like "you guys realize what we're fighting for" even though some things they did, Regina in particular aren't funny.

    ReplyDelete
  75. One of the best ways to turn over a plot. So glad that The Snow Queen wasn't a villain in the end. I will miss Elizabeth Mitchell (and soon probably the other Frozen characters) a lot. I was def teary-eyed at end of the episode! (i haven't read any spoilers though about the next half--but what I wouldn't give for another spin off)

Regina and Snow's fight was fun and I loved how easily Hook knocked Will out (I still hope they do something more with him in the second half--maybe in relation to Maleficent?)

Glad we also got more Emma back story (I have been hoping she had powers younger than we thought--fun little shout out to Revolution too with the "power flickering") I'm guessing from next week's promo that the ring and Dalmatian (I love Dals, we have two!) toy was meant to tie back/be a lead in!

"What the heck am I wearing" x2 LOL!

Really felt the writers did a beautiful job with this first half!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Danielle Nordahl8 December 2014 at 15:29

Seriously! Since turning his ship around to save Henry all he has done is try to be there for Emma and help and make sacrifices, now can they finally rally around to save him? Goodness gracious. I am also dying for an epic scene where Belle stands up to Rumple and ultimately walks away. I would want them to get back together, but a long time from now because Rumple shouldn't be redeemed so quickly and Belle needs her own plot.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Danielle Nordahl8 December 2014 at 15:35

I have to have faith that the writers and producers know what an emotional and action packed episode it would be to focus on that. I mean, Emma going from joy to devastated and angry, Belle going from heartbroken to hero, Emma battling it out with Rumple, the most powerful of them all, and Belle outwitting her husband. A beautiful happy ending moment between Emma and Hook, Rumple off licking his wounds and planning his even bigger revenge for 4B. The episode practically writes itself!

  78. Different strokes; Elizabeth Mitchell did a good job with the material she was given, but the immaturity itself was very annoying for me.

  79. better than this Frozen mess that totally turned off a lot of fans

  80. It was a amazing ep but when I think about it, I'm a little disappointed by the overall 4A storyline...
The actresses for Elsa and Anna were perfect, but we saw way TO MUCH of them instead of Ingrid and Emma/Ingrid.
The Snow Queen storyline could have worked with less Frozen and Emma/Elsa (even if they're a cute brotp) and more Emma/Ingrid as mother/daughter instead of sisters.
The Emma/Ingrid flashback were so good, it reminded me a lot of Snow/Emma (before they ruined it a little for me in Neverland). I wanted more of that. And even maybe some Snow/Ingrid confrontation about being Emma's mother/foster mother.
    But now Ingrid's gone :'(
It KILLS ME when they have amazing opportunities for family relationships but they buries them before they even begin.... (Corawithherheart/Regina, Zelena/Regina!!!, Emma/Ingrid!!!, Ingrid/Elsa/Anna) Because frankly, for me, OUAT is at its best when it's about family ships. I care more about them than I care about any canon romantic ships.

  81. What a perfect way to conclude Ingrid/The Snow Queen arc! In my opinion, it was seriously the best arc OUAT has ever done.

I loved all the backstory we got on Ingrid and Emma in this episode. It was much needed. Emma and Ingrid bonding at the claw machine was nice! But I felt bad for her when she pushed her and Emma in front of the car so that Emma can save them with her magic but it didn't work and then she ran away :( She hadn't believed in magic yet, Ingrid! Damn you, OUAT for making me feel bad for her.

Regina/The Evil Queen was absolutely phenomenal. God, I missed that side of her so much and it was great to see her go back to it for this episode. And that fight scene between her and Mary Margaret was so hilarious/amazing. "You said you could keep a secret" "I...was...10!!" HA! And holy shit at Mary Margaret throwing Regina around a couple times. That was badass. Also, I loved how after the Spell of Shattered Sight was broken, Regina says "What the hell am I wearing?" and her, Mary Margaret, and David just laugh it off :)

That final scene for Ingrid and that montage of the her, Helga, and Gerda running through the fields absolutely broke my heart. Ingrid finally has her sister's love and is ready to join them and sacrifices herself because she realized she made a mistake :( Pretty tough scene to watch.

I immediately got upset when Ingrid and Emma meet for the first time in Storybrooke and Emma mentions Graham. It was like opening up old wounds :( I miss him so much. And oh shit at Rumple leaving Storybrooke and wanting control over the entire world. That's not going to end well.

I'am really not ready to say goodbye to Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff (spinoff please?!)!! But I'm curious to see the next arc with the new and improved Maleficent, Ursula, and Cruella!

  84. I know this show has its flaws but man, I love it so much. I have been enjoying this season like the first one. Another amazing episode. I can't believe I cried when the Snow Queen died. What an emotional scene. I just wished Elsa, Anna and Kristoff didn't have to go. :(

  85. I loved Regina and Snow scenes so much!I loved how everyone laughed when they saw what Regina was wearing. That shows that Regina's not the evil queen anymore.
Ingrid redemption was preety beautiful and the flashbacks were very well-done.
Henry and Hook scene was so funny...Dirty pirate...They should have more scenes together like in season 3.
I hate Rumplestinskin!I think Belle will stop him. After that, they'll probably break up.

  86. This series is becoming like Heroes. Characters changing from one second to another. (Rumple, Ingrid) Gaping plotholes. (Swordfight with Snow... Seriously?) Ugh.

  87. So basically we went through all this crap with Ingrid being the big bad for nothing. I hope this means the end of the Frozen storyline. They also screwed up when they insinuated that magic can't exist beyond Storybrooke. The Wizard lived in NY with Emma for almost a year and he had been transformed into a winged monkey by the wicked witch. Once he was thrown off the ledge he reverted back to a winged monkey. If there's no magic then how did that happen? They need to get back to writing for the core characters and bring them back to what made this show great ... once upon a time.

As fan of the original fairytale I was always annoyed about those wrongly made adaptations where the Snow Queen is evil, when in the original tale is neutral and maternal. I love that Ingrid sacrificed herself, I have always seen her as tragic heroine, and there you go. Perfect. It was very emotional :(

I hate what they did to Rumple character, and Hook character (although Black Beard is the true Hook in this universe anyway)

  89. I was very touched by Ingrid, besides the fact that it's Elizabeth Mitchell, I could see she was doing everything because she wanted to be loved, she wanted her sisters, and she was so good with Emma when Emma was young.... Emma would eventually see it because she later began to see that magic does exist, it would all add up. Loved the episode, sooo upset these characters have to leave !

  90. So after this episode suddenly everyone will remember that Rumplestiltskin is a powerful wizard. Because practically non of this season could have happened without them forgetting.

  91. ...not the same thing. But good try.

  92. - I'd really wish they would stop with the half season self-contained stories nonsense, especially when it's just one arbritary villain after another. But, Mitchell was a blast to watch during her short time on the show.
    - Are they planning on giving WIll something to do that resembles a storyline? It's pathetic that they brought him over and have mostly used him for comic relief so far.
    - Snow, David and Regina laughing together was such a nice piece of character development.
    - Was anyone else disappointed by how tame the curse ended up being, given all this talk about everyone ripping each other apart. Snow and Regina were the only ones who really fought each other.

  93. Get it? According to her it only matters if women die. Men are irrelevant.

  94. Loved the episode! Gonna miss Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff when they leave next week.

One question I just thought of today: how did Ingrid remove Elsa's memories of her (and apparently the memory of how Elsa got in the urn)? Obviously whatever and however she did it caused a change of clothes since Elsa went in wearing her coronation gown and came out wearing her blue ice dress.

Also, I doubt we're going to see it, but it'd be interesting to see the gap between '82 and '99 for Ingrid: how she assimilated into our world and became a foster mom.

  95. "how did Ingrid remove Elsa's memories of her "

It was shown explicitly a few episodes earlier, just before rumple showed up to take Elsa.

Anyway she wore the same thing as in Storybrooke but, with the gloves. Which shew threw away end of last season, if memory serves.

"how she assimilated into our world and became a foster mom"
That's a plothole too in my opinion. She had and knew nothing, didn't even exist as far as this world is concerned. Yet she managed to get a house and even foster children. But inexplicably didn't learn not to shove people in front of cars...

It's possible I forgot both of these facts. If I had time I'd go back and watch the episode. I swear Elsa was wearing her coronation dress when Anna put her in the urn. (It's possible I'm wrong though. My memory isn't as good as it should be for a 28 year old.)

  98. I really enjoyed this midseason finale. It was one of the better finales for a story arc, that Once has done in a while. I was satisfied with the resolution to the Ice Queen/Shattered Sight storyline. Ingrid's bittersweet ending was well done. The townspeople's reactions in the aftermatch of this curse, especially Snow, David, and Regina's laughing together, showed how close they've all become.

Many of the characters had good development throughout this half of the season, from the Frozen characters (especially Elsa, Anna, and Ingrid), to even a few of the main Storybrooke ones. Emma had a lot of character development and backstory. Regina was given some nice meaningful moments to deepen several relationships, such as Regina and Robin's romance, Regina and Henry's mother-son bond, Regina and Snow's long-time relationship, and even show how far she's come with the difference between her present-Regina and Shattered Sight past-Evil Queen self. Rumple has had a lot of story delving more into his dark side again.

I'm going to miss the Frozen characters a lot. I've come to care about and enjoy Elsa and Anna's pureheartedness and loving sisterly bond, as real characters, and not just cartoons. I think the writers, whoever did casting, and all the Frozen actors did a marvelous job bringing to life, and making three-dimensional, the cartoon characters. I hope they come back to guest star some more.

Which airs a few days from now on sunday? :D

  100. My bad, I guess. Yes, the actual midseason finale is the next episode. I didn't know what else to call this episode, but a finale of sorts, since it wrapped up the major part of the Frozen storyline. While next week's episode will tie up the last bits of loose ends for the Frozen storyline, it seems to mostly serve the purpose of introducing the next half of the season's storyline.
