WARM UP ON CHRISTMAS DAY WITH AN OUTLANDER YULE LOG

This Christmas Day, “Outlander” fans can cuddle up in front of a roaring Scottish hearth, courtesy of Starz’ first-ever Yule Log broadcast. As part of the 25 Days of #OutlanderOfferings, Starz will air the “Outlander” Yule Log Thursday December 25th, at 2:45PM ET/PT with a countdown clock ticking down to the Outlander marathon that starts at 3:00PM ET/PT. The cozy scene was filmed on location at Lallybroch, the Fraser family home, and fans can revel in the traditional holiday celebration set to music from award-winning “Outlander” composer Bear McCreary.

  1. What does it mean "extended versions"? will there be extra scenes, cut off from the originally aired episodes?

  2. A YULE Log broadcast? Um. Here's what I want from Starz for Christmas. I would like the back end of Outlander Season One in January not April.

Yeah. They've released a couple of the scenes (generally 60 to 90 seconds in length) but I assume they'll be integrated back into the episodes proper with some others added.

  6. I finally watched Outlander after hearing so much about it. I liked the tv show and could not held my curiosity and read everything that was on wikipedia about the books. Now I know (if they follow the book) what should happen by the end of the first season. I disagree that this show has been voted the best among so many other great shows
