Once Upon a Time - Season 4 - Lana Parrilla Talks about Maleficent & the Trio of Evil

Thanks to StephonJD for the heads up.
"I think Maleficent is more of a formidable foe because she's a powerful sorceress so I think she fears what Maleficent is going to bring to Storybrooke and the potential danger of having this sorceress/dragon beast coming back," Parilla explains to Zap2it. "She's not as threatened by the other two."

That does not mean that there isn't something to fear when it comes to Cruella and Ursula. Parilla hints that there's also a backstory with them and Regina as well. "In regards to Cruella and Ursula -- [Regina] knows of these women. They too have a history with her, but not as close or as tight as Maleficent's," she says.

  1. Should be quite interesting to see all of them in town. But than I ask myself, the cast is already huge and main cast is barely getting the focus they deserve how will they handle these 3 villains as well.
    Hoping for the best!

  2. I loved much the Frozen story, but I'm honest, I missed much the flashbacks/Enchanted Forest. So seems we will see more again, which make me glad.

  3. I can't take Cruella seriously as major threat to anyone but Pongo. Maleficent was never very impressive either. *Every* time she appeared she was either defeated or out maneuvered.

  4. Well, it looks like the Frozen cast is leaving in the next episode. And IMO they were able to strike a nice balance between the Frozen storyline the the Storybrooke storyline.

  5. I'm not really happy with the way the characters got focused this season! Besides Emma, Hook and Gold none of the other main character got focus. Regina was majorly neglected not to speak about Snow(okay she had a real life baby) and David barely gets any significant screen time.
I know it's hard but I really don't think they need all 3 villains right now.

  6. This sounds awesome. Like a whole lot of Regina :)
