    At work, yeah it never happened. They cannot be seen as in a relationship on the job, there are rules against that. At the very least one of them would be transferred.

    This reply contains possible SPOILERS for NCISLA future episodes:


    Are you really basing this opinion on a less-than-a-minute long clip? Yes, it is the opening scene of the next episode (in airing order, not writing/filming order), but it is not the next day after that/their holiday. Its a few weeks later. Even if the "after glow" myth would be true, it would not show as much weeks after their decision. They have had time to be together (still a new relationship, but not "fresh fresh"...just happened" one), and are obviously navigating work/relationship. And they have been back to work for a few weeks already after their "all in" decision and 2-day vacation. Of course they are back to their usual work "routine". People do not just change completely and start behaving differently when they get together. People will still remain themselves.


    Making assumptions based on one tiny clip is weird in my opinion. Perhaps I am weird for finding it weird... But now I just want there to be a scene later in the episode that is about Densi and "their thing" just so that you would get a huge (unexpected) surprise after this reaction to the promo clip.


    Whether their "thing" gets mentioned in this episode or not, does not matter. Because they are together. and I believe that with this show and ship it is for good (it wont be on-off like with some shows). If no big mentions of anyones holidays (D/K, N/E, G/J, Hanna-fam...), then we will hear about it sometime later.


    And why do people have to act "couple-y" at work even if they are in a relationship? Nothing to do even with the "ncisla rule about agents dating", just adults being able to WORK at work, and do other things on free time.


    I really loved the Densi clip. Classic Deeks. Classic Kensi. Their usual banter. It is so good to know that though things have changed (they are together), they are still the same people, and act the way that is natural to them. And by the looks of it I think they are really making it work - being together, and being able to do their job. Though I still expect some mentions of them trying to "have it all" - being together, working together, doing their job - in the future.


    And the scenes even has the classic "interrupted by the squintern"! #SavedbytheNell


    PS. I personally am intrigued to find out if THE BOX will be opened. Because the episode airs on Jan 5th, and the characters should also lve in 2015 then, so it is around Deeks birthday. And since he got the box originally for his birthday 2 seasons ago, and since he now has what he wants the most, it would make sense to have the box opening happen. Also because the writer of the episode is the same.

    Wow - such a heated response. I was mostly reacting to the "doctor's orders" conversation I think - I wouldn't think it would be a surprise to him. And since no one was around ... Dunno. I'll wait for the episode, of course - it was just my first reaction so no need to get so upset with me - should I not comment anymore?!

    Like you said Rhiann..that opener was classic Densi..and their adults...so we shouldn't expect to ever see Deeks & Kensi acting all couple-y and having PDA's while they are at work,


    By just going by that one brief scene and then assuming..that their "thing" has somehow gone back to where it was before last weeks kiss and declaration of "all in" by both of them......is a needless concern and worry IMHO. :) ..).


    Acting all lovey dovey while at work.. would be highly unprofessional behavior ...worse....it would come across as pretty silly..knowing the nature of their highly dangerous work.



    Hard to take Densi or the show very seriously..if we ever saw Hetty giving Callen & Sam their marching orders..while Deeks and Kensi were in the background of ops..playing tonsil hockey..as Eric & Nell. could only look on .. slack jawed..and with obvious jealously in their eyes!!! lol



    So while. I don't expect to see Densi acting like a couple of love sick high school kids while working.....I would hope......we could see them....in a few scenes.while their off work....perhaps holding hands or some other form of PDA...to show us.that side of their relationship.


    I would just really hate it...and I imagine..so would a lot of other Densi fans...if that new couple status of Deeks & Kensi,..was mostly just talked about as happening offscreen..but we rarely.. if ever.. saw any evidence of it...onscreen.


    The powers that be.. just have to strike the right balance..of showing them acting as highly trained partners while on the job...and then acting as more than just "partners"...every so often...during their free time..


    ...whether that just means we get a scene lasting no longer than 20 or 30 ( ok ok ..40 ) seconds of them in a car on their way to work ...while holding hands as we listen in... to the usual Densi playful banter.....before they exit their vehicle & enter HQ's... acting as if.nothing of a couple-y nature is going on between them..


    Course...that's assuming..that nobody on the team saw that epic Densi kiss at the ice rink...which..I'd be surprised. and find very hard to believe..if the show runners tried to act... as if nobody saw it happened.


    Sam & Callen. are trained gov't agents afterall......be weird..not to mention..unlikely..that they didn't see two members of their team..making out like bandits..just feet away from their eyeline....or notice..a change in their behavior..when they rejoined the party at the ice rink.


    ( Besides...Kensi's lipstick smooshed all over Deeks happy face..might be a dead give a way to even the world's most naive gov't secret agent ....that something is definately up with Deeks & Kensi! )


    The cool thing is...I m guessing the team is so close and acting as a family at this point..that even if Callen or Sam saw those epic Densi kisses... they would never volunteer Deeks & Kensi's upgraded status...to either Hetty or Granger.


    But seeing as how Hetty is the ALL Knowing & Seeing One.. rivaled only by Dr Strange in that dept......I wouldn't t be shocked to hear that Hetty not only knows about those Densi kisses... she has a hidden file somewhere ..documenting Monty's sexual escapades!

    You are free to comment. (So am I, and everyone else). And there is no "heat" in my comment, I just write long, based on logic things. It is a fault of mine. And I replied to your previous comment...which was short, and only said that based on this scene/conversation it does not seem they are together/all in. Which I believe to be a speculation based on very partial evidence - this short scene.


    I am not upset. Neither am I upset with you. I am mostly surprised about some reactions to spoilers I read online.

    I just find it illogical to draw such conclusions about "since the short opening scene clip has no lovey-dovey-post-get-together-densi that means there will not be any in the episode, or in the future episodes". Because I do not know what you meant really by the comment, but it sounded like that was what you were saying. Maybe you meant it as a joke, maybe you were really disappointed.

    I was just trying to speculate some, and give you possible scenarios what could happen. If that (my repy) upset you, I apologize.

    Don't you think the whole sneak peek clip is so very Densi. the classic densi-banter? I think it is great that is still there. (even if from now on we at times will see them have "couples" moments, and their usual banter discussions become more meaningful (example: you think the next time Deeks jokingly talks about kids, biological clock, baby names, or mutant ninja babies will be like all previous one? I doubt it. Even if we wont see much "couples" scenes, their usual "moments" will be different from now on.

    And based on the shows new time slot and the "love story" so far, I am going to make a bet that at times we will see Densi "lovey-dovey" moments. But only when they are alone (even if it is the shooting range at work), or before/after work. I do not believe there will be much kissing and such during actual work. But based on what the show has done so far, I think it is safe to bet there will be hand holding, quick kisses, and such from time to time.

    As for the scene, and conversation. I see nothing strange in the fact that Deeks is just hearing about Kensis "take it easy" new method. It is possible Kensi just came from the doctor (perhaps it is mandatory, work related check up they have to take now and then). Or even if it was on a previous day, he does not necessarily need to know every detail a doc tells his girlfriend. Couples do talk, but rarely tell each other every second and every word from their day. There is nothing worrisome about that. (if you wish to think like a fan-girl, then perhaps they had "something else to do or talk about" so far on their off-work time that did not leave time for Kensi to tell Deeks about her doc appointment) But I personally got the feeling she just had the appointment last night or that morning. Most likely she just came from the doc. So it was news to Deeks.





    Like I said I really hope they wrote, filmed, and kept a little Densi moment in this episode so that you would have a different kind of reaction after you have seen the whole episode.

    I personally am fine either way - only their usual work banter or "more" during work hours. But as I said, I am betting that we will get some (canon) Densi-moments from time to time.

    lol Those classic #SavedbytheNell/Eric" scenes..are getting about as predictable & boring..as the typical weather forecast in LA!!


    It's always the same thing...Deeks & Kensi..messing around or other members of the team having fun....only for the mood of those light hearted opening scenes to.be dashed...with a very serious and glum looking Nell,,, informing whoever she is addressing at HQ... that someone from the team ..( fill in the blank name) has been discovered to be.. ,,,,,.


    A) shot & hospitalized...
    B) declared missing..
    C) kidnapped & held hostage
    D) All of the above


    I've been watching episodic TV shows & police procedurals...for a very long time now...or..ever since Deeks was knee high to Hetty...lol...and I've never been a fan of those infamous......"This time,,, it's personal " nuanced episodes...


    Falling back or relying too much on the...TTIP BS.....is not a good thing...as it's mostly used as a cheap device by lazy a$$ writers... to try and add.an extra heightened sense of drama.,,to any given episode.

    I'm not asking for them to be all lovey dovey or couple-ish while on the job. But I am asking for Kensi to cut it out with the hostility directed at Deeks. Just have her behave like a decent, not obnoxious, human being, and that would be a big enough change.

    its not against rules for ncis agents to be married or ncis agents to be married to cops.. Its only a jethro giibbs rule that there is no personal relations on his team. In fact the real head of NCIS who appeared in the episode K BLYE met and married his wife while they were both working at NCIS . I thought that sneak peak was very clever and had a touch of naughtiness .lol The line about him invading her personal sphere.

    Like a lot of folks...I eventually tired of seeing Kensi punching Deeks .. but here in this case...Deeks deserved what he got...and was clearly...asking for it.


    Kensi was just sitting there... minding her own OM business...when Deeks saunters over and waves his sweaty gloved hand ....mere inches from Kensi's cute nose...he did that on purpose...knowing full well..how Kensi would react!.


    As Gladiator said... Kensi can hurt you...and in her defence.. Kensi seems to be a very firm believer in that old saying ...".If you mess with the bull..your gonna get the horns!"


    One way..some couples have fun..is shopping for antiques..in Deeks & Kensi 's case..it's teasing one another..while engaged in some type of a physical play!


    We have see them often training & sparring together..and how Deeks keeps joking around & needling her..like a big brother..teases his little sister.



    And by the jokes Deeks is saying ..while he's wiggling around on that mat thanks to Kensi.....my guess is...Deeks really enjoys engaging in this type of horse play with her...and uses it...as just another excuse to get nearer to his hotty gf.

    Count me in with the didn't like the partner greeting myself it's sounds oddly impersonal to me now after the Densi all in events of last week

    The fact the episode might have been filmed out of sequence could be the reason it sounds the way it does to me but Id like Id like it a lot better if Deeks would call her by anything but partner from now on
