  1. Francis is getting on my nerves...
Just tell Mary the truth already and if he was smart enough, he would have told his mother. Is he forgetting what Catherine is good at?

  2. !!!
It feels like this season of Reign only had so much story to it and the writers had to find a way to stretch, hence this whole thing with Francis refusing to be honest with Mary.

  3. Exactly! Catherine could have fixed it ages ago!

  4. I don't think Catherine will solve lord narcisse issue so easily. He proves himself to be a tough opponent . remember he acknowledges Catherine plans to maintain her reputation clean in case of Francis troubles . I personally think that he will defeat Catherine . but I guess we will never know

  5. Maybe she won't solve the problem completely, but at least she could get some leverage and level the playing field

  6. i think he also believes that if Mary got involved, she would solve the problem and not him, so he wants to prove that he can do it on his own (like in ep 3 where Mary tries to get grain to France and he felt that she was undermining his rule). Suck it up Francis!!!!!!!!

  7. Watching Frary's clashing 4 or 5 episode in a row is really boring.

  8. Catherine is the first person he should have told.. she knows how to handle things like this... and could have easily taken care of it...

  9. are you kidding... when her back is against the wall.. look out
and her son's rule is at stake... Lord Narcisse is her equal when its all said and done.. in this things like this but when it comes to protecting family... she'll do anything.... to take someone down...

  10. they're just tearing down francis to build up Conde for another tired love triangle. crappy writing.

  11. Sadly I have to agree. This slow dragging, Francis versus Mary, storyline, is nothing more than a set up for the Conde and Mary love fest. I'm guessing that when Mary approaches Conde, with her idea, Conde will profess his feelings for Mary and we'll see their first romantic moment.
I also don't get why Catherine isn't involved with the blackmail.
While I know that historically, they may have been apart, this show is so much more interesting when Mary and Francis work as a team. Their love seems truly genuine. Leave it to these writer's and the CW to feel the need for another stupid love triangle.
Not that it matters but I am about done with this series.

  12. The show has no interesting storyline to tell anymore sadly,so it's dragging it's crappy non-existent plotlines for episodes now!Such a shame!

  13. The show ahs been downhill c'mon Vash is out of thep picture and since ep 1 they are putting this "conde" guy in the spotlight. Sighs. Its good this is the last of it.

  14. Catherine isn't involved because this dumb s/l would be over if she was. I also don't get the romantic Mary/Conde push. They've made Conde Mary's only friend, so we see multiple scenes of them together per episode, but there's just no romantic spark there. Mary and Francis have had it since their first scene together, even when they were fighting the chemistry was there. So I don't get why they would tear down Mary and Francis to build up Mary/Conde, especially after how they patted themselves on the back for ending the Mary/Francis/Bash triangle. And Mary/Bash actually had a solid fanbase. It's odd. Maybe it's because they're getting ready to kill off Francis? I can't think of another explanation.

  15. It's nice to find someone who sees the same load of crap writing, apparently aimed at the 12 to 16 year old girls demographic , lately. In the past Mary always had her circle of friends, she would talk to and when things got really bad she'd turn to Catherine. Now, as you pointed out, the only one she can confide in , with Francis being distant, is Conde? They want to portray her as a strong young woman ,yet she apparently can't do anything now, without seeing Conde. They have been pushing this, going back to the Catherine and Mary, on the run episode, when Catherine tells Mary to create a second, secret life. I am not sure if they have been renewed for another season, after this, but if this writing of Mary continues, I will not be watching.
I think we're still to early to start pushing the Francis dying, but maybe your right.
