  1. Whoa, this show has definitely picked up and that got intense fast. Damn. That was a great episode and I think it's my favorite.

Jim taking down that guys was so attractive so thanks for that.

  3. I really loved this episode, but I was disappointed somewhat that Gordan and Bullock's charge into the enemy camp came up null.

  4. I love the twist at the end. The writing on this show has been very tight.

  5. Holy smokes Robin Lord Taylor continues to just blow it out of the water! He is so conniving, awkward and under handed as the Penguin it is amazing. Love how he is playing all the sides. Man is creepy but he sure knows how to worm his way on all the sides.

This episode was intense and really picked up the plot. Glad to see those other two detectives appear to be on Jim's side. As far as we know anyway right now. The scene with little Bruce Wayne saying his potential goodbye and handing off the case to the other two was sad. Poor Bruce always alone and feeling like he is losing people.

Only freaking Harvey Bullock would walk around town drunk off his ass when his partner is wanted knowing there is a risk they would after him thinking he might know where Jim is. But nope still had to pick up his lady of the night and drink anyway lol.

That police station scene was intense. I can see how clearly corrupt and scared this town is when the whole station fled and left Jim to die.

My one issue and I have this with other shows too is when people get shot or injured and they automatically walk it off. Now obviously he was on the run so he couldn't be laid up in bed all day because the show would be boring but dude still you just got shot.Twice. It's a miracle you didn't rip your stitches out or be extremely weak from blood loss. Whenever I see characters on movies and tv go 'oh just got shot while I can't lay around here let's walk it off and be a man about it' I can't help but laugh sometimes.

  7. They should call this show "Penguin begins". Don't get me wrong, I like so much the Penguin, Gotham's appearance is really good, and this episode was awesome, but other "baby-criminals" are so insignificant and the Penguin is already a fully developed character.

  8. Love the twist at the end. This episode has me excited to see the rest of the season.

  9. really enjoyed this ep as it didn't lack in action and awesome plot reveals and forwarding... did not see the twist at the end coming and that was a great bit of writing. the Zsasz/Gordon face off at the precinct was well done without being over the top and set up Zsasz as an enemy to keep an eye out for. Got a bit pissed at Barbara for essentially ruining everything for Gordon (at least on this day) and his plan to right the big wrongs, but we all knew that it would've been too easy as this will be something that will take some time and it would be safe to assume that Falcone's demise will come at the hand of Penguin, who will eventually become the big boss of Gotham

  10. Excellent episode (No Spoilers........Much)! Something about the shoot - out at the precinct reminded me of the "Matrix". I said it a few episodes back that everyone else was playing "checkers", while the Penguin was playing "chess"...............clearly Penguin isn't the only one with the reveal we got this episode. One of the best episodes yet! 4 THE DARKEST KNIGHT IN GOTHAM, I remain Nobody!!!

  11. yeah, I do have a problem with most major injuries sometimes being gone within an episode or two with most shows.

Gotham is a mess.....police force doing nothing his own captain is scared......I think it time for Major Crime Unit to help out Gordon to take down those controlling the mayor and police force.

  15. well that was a twist lol, cobblepot working for falcone all along didn't see that coming and gordon is definitely in my mind a future superhero not just some commissioner i know it's his destiny but the way he acts is more hero than just some cop, zsasz is a good villain but his ringtone really?, i'm glad bullock is finally on the right side, i completely loved the scene with bruce and gordon, bruce definitely sees gordon as father figure, loved alfred capturing allen lol, i'm sorry but i'm just tired of mooney, i don't like her as a villain anymore i get bored during her scenes unlike robin lord taylor that guy is rocking it as cobbelpot

  19. Terrific well rounded episode. Wonder if they can keep this kind of quality up. Loved the (High Noon type) showdown with Gordon at the Precinct and the surprise rescue.

  20. I wasn't a big fan of gotham the series untill now, Don't get me wrong It has a lot of potential but it is lacking a certain amount of structure. This week however it finally blew me away! Pinguin is by far still the strongest and most interesting character on the show, and this week he takes it up a notch right from the start of the episode! The most powerfull and unbelievable chilling scene however, and its also the one that took the show into the right direction for me, is the moment Gordon is abandoned by every collegae around him and we get to see how dark and corrupt gotham truly is.

  21. Maybe that's not a bad thing, they can focus on one enemy at a time and instead of making little advance with all of them, we see the full process with each (I'm assuming the show will last several seasons here)
