  1. Thank you for adding these. I wasn't expecting to see the synopsis of the remaining 6 episodes in one go. Thanks again.

  3. I'm not too bothered about Annie/McQuaid because I'm sure Annie/Auggie will be endgame.

  4. I totally agree with you, I just hope they will rather go deepen their friendship

  7. I think season four was the best, the fifth is just being...entertaining.
I think usa network'll do as they did with white collar, they'll renew covert affairs for a last and shorter season.

  8. I love seeing Joan going into the field.

  9. I'm really not a fan of Annie and McQuaid, I always ship Annie and Auggie, I would have preferred to see more of Eyal than Annie and McQuaid

  10. S3 and S4 was certainly the best

  11. I'm just annoyed by it entirely. Annie claims she can't do the job and have romantic attachments and then turns right around and forms and romantic attachment. If I was Auggie, I'd be a little pissed off about that.

  12. My biggest problem with Covert Affairs is that they’re not allowing Auggie to have any believable reaction to Annie’s hypocrisy.

Annie tells him they can’t be together because of the job, and then turns right around and forms a romantic attachment, which is the very thing she said she couldn’t do.

Annie constantly lying to him despite how often Auggie is there for her is practically being brushed aside. Auggie deserves to be pissed at her! He should be pissed at her!

But I saw those promo photos and it looks like they’re right back to being fine, and interviews have shown that the writers have no intention of letting Auggie be pissed at her for more than an episode or two because “he understands that lying is part of their job”.

That’s bullshit! Human emotions are not that simple! Right now, Auggie should not want to have anything to do with her. She’s treating him more like an asset than a friend. That should REALLY piss him off after everything they’ve gone through together.

But the writers aren’t allowing that. They’re keeping Auggie in this state where he really loves Annie, and he’s pining for her, and just waiting for the new guy to go away so they can rekindle their love for each other.

I really hate it when writers do this! It’s really shitty writing. They make the guy in the relationship just available enough so that when they’re finished with the storyline for the woman’s new guy, they can easily restart the old relationship almost immediately.

That’s not fun to watch, and it happens on television all of the freaking time. I would actually like to see Annie and Auggie’s relationship fracture for a while. Not this crap where they’re barely talking to each other, but a time where they are no longer friends because Auggie is tired of her shit.

The writers have spent this season turning Auggie into a docile little lovesick puppy who keeps getting kicked by Annie but also keeps forgiving her and coming back for more.

This needs to change, because I used to watch this show constantly and now I only tune in every once in a while.

  13. There is a lot that happened between Annie and Auggie that led us to this point. First, Helen came back into Auggie's life. When he found out his wife was still alive, Auggie went through a lot of turmoil. At one point, that turmoil manifested itself into anger towards Annie when she asked Auggie what Helen's return meant for them. Auggie was the one who broke things off with Annie saying that his life was too complicated and he needed things to be more simple (between them). I'll never forget how Annie put her hand over her mouth to stiffle her crying as she sat by Auggie on his couch in his apartment when he told Annie it was over. Let's not forget how Auggie slept with Helen knowing that Annie went dark in an attempt to find Henry Wilcox because Henry was a very real danger to Auggie, Joan, and Arthur. The entire reason why Annie went after Henry in the first place was because he threatened Auggie and his career because of the secret he kept about Teo Braga. Auggie knew that he had done Annie wrong because of the way he cringed when he realized Annie knew that he slept with Helen. Annie never said a word, but she made sure Auggie understood that she knew when they were in Helen's apartment and walked by the unmade bed.

If Auggie wanted to be with Annie, he sure has a funny way of showing it. He has been with Helen, Hayley, and Natasha since he ended it with Annie. Auggie knows there has been damage done to his and Annie's personal relationship which has affected them on a professional level as well. I think that is why he was more than willing to comply with Annie's wishes when it was her turn to ask that they return to simplier times and work together as agent and handler when Annie returned to Washington after going dark for four months. Annie and Auggie resuming their agent and handler status is where they had to start to bebuild their relationship. I don't know if Annie and Auggie will ever be together again personally, but I'm glad they have their professional relationship and personal friendship back.

  14. I just wish Annie could go one season without getting into a romantic relationship. Come to think of it Auggie has been just as bad as Annie in that department over the last couple of years.

  15. yeeees, I totally agree with you!

  16. Basically, Annie left Auggie because he is blind. Period. He can't "keep up" with her in the field. She can't "protect" him if she's in a relationship with him. This goes so counter to what the show purports to be one of its central values and I'm disgusted with it.

  17. I'm completely done with this show, bye

  18. At least Annie knows not to be a terrorist f_____r.

  19. This a great show. It is like the best spy novel but for tv it is missing the personnel element. What make it so good in the beginning was the interactions of Annie and her co-workers and Annie interactions with her family. People are looking for a connection with another human being if only on TV.

  20. Still, his limitation in the field stem directly from his being blind. Ergo - Annie left him because he is blind.
