Brewster plays Francesca "Frankie" Dart, a consultant hired to help shape things up at the underachieving school. David will appear as Elroy Patashnik, a retired scientist who comes to Greendale to reinvent himself.

    Also still nothing on Alison Brie? Last I knew she hadn't really said anything about Season 6 and was the only other cast member other than Yvette Brown to not say anything about the it being picked up for another season.

    Brewster cameoed this past season as an employee of the school. I forget the exact role she served, and if it's the same character... Either way, I'm in -- Paget Brewster's great with comedy.

    The Elroy role sounds practically identical to Pierce. I really wish they'd let the kooky and angry old man trying to reinvent himself trope go already. Give me a new character.

    She was, yeah. Interesting they're having her play a whole new character as a result, but still, yay, awesome news regardless! I look forward to seeing her back on there, and in a regular role, no less.
    I'm not familiar with Keith David, but I'll be interested to see him as well. "Retired scientist" sounds like fun.
