  1. Damn it, Coulson. And I understand they need to bring him in and I still think there might be more going on but one big problem.

STOP TRYING TO SEND GRANT WARD BACK TO HIS ABUSER. STOP IT. And that's all.

  2. Hi there Trip, he really needs more to do this season

  3. Agreed! I am so disgusted/frustrated with the way Ward is being treated this season.

  4. They have the right to be angry at Ward because he deserves it after what he did but they never got him help and left his mental illness untreated (they didn't get Fitz - who they actually do care about at the moment - medical attention either and that's just wrong), Skye told him he should have tried harder to kill himself, (still mad at her for that and I love her with every fiber of my being) Fitz tried to kill him and Jemma threatened to (also mad at them), and then they tried to hand him over to one of his abusers! Like what the hell. And they still don't know Garrett kidnapped and abused Ward for fifteen years. It's at the point where I'm glad he escaped.

Hopefully they start fixing this soon but I'm guessing they want Ward to really hit rock bottom before they build him back up (I thought he was already there but guess not) and start him on the path towards redemption.

  5. DAMN IT PHIL DON'T DO THIS!!! he was abused his entore life and it's like you don't care and ward HAS to know he's being followed right and that coat is huge on him lol and he's a very tall guy

  6. I agree on all points. While I understand them being upset with him, they take it too far. I thought for sure he already hit rock bottom too, but apparently there hasn't been enough turmoil.

  7. 1) Ok, I'd like to state that I'm not hating on Ward here, I'm just trying to defend everyone when I say that if Ward's actions are somewhat justifiable through his abusive past than so should the rest of the teams, they are also victims, epecially FitzSimmons.

    2) Coulson did the best he could for them with his resources and you could counter that all you'd like, but since we're not present 24/7 in their lives and we don't know exactly what has been happening to them, neither of us will be able to come up with valid arguments that aren't based on pure speculation. Which brings me to #3:

    3) MST3K Mantra. Seriously.

    4) Coulson has no reason to believe Ward, so as far as he's concerned he's sending Ward to a known family member to go to trial and pay for his crimes (which justified or not, he did commit), not his abuser. Tbh I'd sooner trust a politician than someone who backstabbed me in such a deep level (which he did, Ward admited himself that he played Coulson).

    5) And honestly, if someone hurt my family, I couldn't care less if they were abused or not as a child (unless it was by my family, which just isn't the case here).

    6) And yes, Ward will have to hit rock bottom to be redeemed and he hasn't
...but he's close... or it seems. I'm not too fond of Ward (and a lot of people hate his guts) so the writers will have to be careful with that.

Episode 1x08 will be especially interesting, I'll probably find myself rooting for Ward, he's done a lot of sh** and he deserves all the punches he's been getting, but at least he seems to feel guilt over it all whereas Christian doesn't look like he gives a f***. It'll be intriguing, when you have two dislikable people pitted against each other you're almost certain to pick a side, it's simply a matter of who's nastier. The writers certainly know what they're doing, whatever happens in that episode, that'll be Ward's rock bottom.

  8. Oh, FitzSimmons and Skye all have a right to be angry but all three took it a little too far and that's why I will call out their problematic behavior even though I love them.

And Coulson seemed to believe Grant about the abuse until he talked to Christian so that's horror-inducing.

Yeah, I really can't wait for 2.08 (terrified for it but still) because I want to see how this goes down. I have a bad feeling Christian will turn the tables on his brother.

  9. Looks good. I hope Ward kills his brother before Coulson snatches him up again.

  10. Classic Ward apologist argument.

Fitz starts to kill Ward but stops: asshole.

Simmons threatens to kill Ward: bitch.

Ward actually does kill people and tries to kill FitzSimmons (oh, that's right - with a 0.01% survival chance!): POOR BABY, he didn't mean to do anything bad, he's just an abuse victim.

  11. Ward apologist? Really. I hate character fights.
