  1. wow...the acting just hurts, i know I'm always kind of a negative nancy and incredibly nitpicky when it comes down to acting but holy hell....Tom Cavanagh is the only semi-capably actor in this show...

  3. Interesting sneak peek

  4. disagree I think Jesse L Martin, Grant Gustin, Candice Patton are all pretty good. I actually think the acting is better than on Arrow , especially when it just started (SA's wooden acting kinda put me off at first)

  5. mac, I am curious. How can you enjoy a show where you dislike the acting of every character except for one. I only dislike Katie Cassidy's acting in Arrow (and Colton Haynes's but he doesn't count) and I can't stand her scenes. Why do you keep watching and torture yourselves. If I were you I wouldn't have bothered.

In my opinion The Flash has stronger acting than Arrow season 1. The actors gel well together. Some depth is missing from characters like Cisco and Iris but there is promise.

  6. So they are showing the big bang. Cool.

  7. I was talking that scene, Caitlin, Cisco and Ronnies actors are pretty darn bad.

Jesse L. Martin is great (totally felt for him last week), the gal playing Iris is really likable and Rick Cosnett does a solid job.
Not too hot on Gustin though, BUT he's likable.

As for Arrow: they only have Holland, Barrowman and Blackthorne

  8. again: I wasn't talking the entire show, merely the acting in THIS scene.

  9. Oh!! When you said Tom Cavanagh is the only good actor on the show I thought you disliked everyone else. I agree about Robbie Amell. He has yet to impress me in anything he has done. So... who apart from Tom Cavanagh do you like in The Flash?

  10. I'm generally extremely picky if it comes down to acting. Whenever an actor fails to deliver the whole show is impossible to enjoy for me. I can enjoy Arrow/Flash due to particular actors that sell their roles.

But I can't watch Teen Wolf without cringing every scene, I'm actually having a HARD time watching The Originals despite fantastic actors like Roché and Gillies. Phoebe Tonkin is tearing it down in my opinion

  14. Meh I found him bland and forgetting as Wes, and Wes himself was an awful antagonist (like everyone last year besides Katherine and Silas, but only Silas because Paul Wesley's humorous take and sarcastic delivery saved the character). But I still can't disagree more on Grant Gustin his natural charm and affability make him perfect for the Flash in this universe (that and he's really endearing) and in two episodes (along with Jesse L. Martin) have made me care a great deal about the father/son relationships on the Flash.

  15. Candice is way over the top when it comes to Iris.

  16. Katie killed it last episode. The only actor that showed real raw emotion. Now Stephan and Colton on the other hand.......

    Emily was....ok

  17. To each their own Helen. Agree to completely disagree :) I felt Stephen much more compelling than KC. I don't usually mention CH with reference to acting :p. But I will say this last episode was the best I liked KC as Laurel.

  18. No way. Candice is great as Iris. But Iris is simply not a great character yet.
