  1. gotta be the least interesting promo I've ever seen, also...since when does TV do actor based promos?

  2. To answer your question, since Hugh Laurie's House began, since James Spader's The Blacklist began, since Viola Davis's How To Get Away With Murder began, since Halle Berry's Extant began.

    Need I continue?

  3. Hugh Laurie I don't understand
meanwhile I get Spader and Halle Berry, both were in cinematic hits.

Whereas Heigl is known for? Greys and some failed romcoms

  4. Hugh Laurie is very well known in the UK especially for many comedy series such as Blackadder. You simply asked when TV networks do actor based promos. Heigl has a better profile than most, albeit not the greatest. I've seen the pilot and she did pretty well

  5. ABC did it with HTGAWM, Forever, Black-ish and Cristela (they had to though lol) this year, and I'm pretty sure I saw a John Cho promo for Selfie too. NCIS NO did it too (and I think Stalker?). Bad Judge and The Mysteries of Laura did too. Not sure on Fox or The CW.
