  1. Sleepy Hollow for me.
"These people entrust you with their fortune. Yet you cannot entrust them with a simple inkwell." - Ichabod
    Gracepoint -
"He's…um, he's from the city." - Ellie "Sorry to hear that." -Jack

I finally watched Gracepoint and loved Nick Nolte in that short scene. I haven't started a lot of the new fall shows yet, I need to get started, quickly!

  2. Agree with all the "Sleepy Hollow" quotes. Ichabod's rant against credit cards at the bank qualifies as a favorite as well.
Also loved this exchange between Kate and Reid on "Criminal Minds":
Kate: "Hey, have you been back to the Benjamin? It's all techno and twerking now."
    Reid: "Um..."
Kate: *Mock shocked* "You mean, you don't twerk?"
    Reid: *Confused*
Kate: "Sorry, I was only teasing you. I don't twerk, either."

  3. I love the Forever, Person of Interest, and Sleepy Hollow quotes. Once Upon A Time and Gotham were also good ones.

  4. Those new shows pile on quickly. Next week i'm dropping some so I can maintain more of a balance.

  5. Still behind and loved the RBS, Forever, Sleepy Hollow, and Scorpion quotes mentioned....I would also add the following:

    Sleepy Hollow:
The entire pen/wedding industry/credit card rant - I had to watch that scene three times as I kept missing stuff from laughing so much!

Abbie: Do we need to light candles or something?"
Ichabod: "Only if you wish to set a mood."

    Jenny: "I have other achievements."

    Scorpion:
Waler: "Hide the mugs, I'm coming down."

Sylvester: "I am in a dirty room, Walter."

    Forever:
James: "Yes, we are men of science Henry, until if fails us."

Also so many fro The Blacklist and AoS....now that all the CW shows are coming back, I am going to have to start trimming my watch list but it's painful to cut anything!!!!

  6. Do you guys plan to do 'quote of the week' for Chicago Fire as well?
Because I would and could defiantly help if you ever needed it! :)

  9. Cheers for posting Dahne, it's great to have TV back after the summer break :)

  10. The SpoilerTV team posts their favorite TV quotes of the week on our Google+ page, so what goes into the post depends on what the team chooses for that week. Sometimes if I think we are going to be light during a week, I tweet out for suggestions as well. We definitely love people to put their favorite quotes in the comments section as well because there are some shows with great quotes that the team doesn't watch on a regular basis.

  11. Thanks. Even though the summer was surprisingly busy for me TV-wise, it is great to have my normal shows back on the air again.

  12. Ichabod's credit card rant made me laugh so hard. I loved that part. I was debating whether to add Criminal Minds to my weekly watch list but I don't have time right now. It was my surprise hit this summer.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I hate cutting my list as well but each week I do just to keep sane. This week I cut Madam Secretary. Next week will probably be Gotham. Luckily I am not too keen on most of the pilots this year so most of them will go by midseason.

  14. I just want to add one from last week's Chicago Fire episode "Wow Me"

Lt. Kelly Severide says to a fellow firefighter on his first call after coming back- "Forgetting is better than never knowing Capp." I love that quote! :)

  15. He's a funny guy, that Ichabod Crane :D.
Yeah, that's fine! Totally understandable-it sounds like you've got a lot to take on TV-wise as it is! Besides, that's what we commenters are here for, right? I like you calling it a "surprise hit"-it's frighteningly addictive, isn't it? I got into the show after watching a marathon of it at a friend's place once.

  16. I don't know what I'm going to cut yet. I am hooked on Forever and Scorpion so it will probably be Gotham and NCIS:NO that get cut first - bright side, both of those are likely to get renewed so I will have the opportunity to binge watch later and pick up in S2 if I like them better after a binge watch!

    ReplyDelete
  17. NCIS:NO will go sooner rather than later for me too as will most of the comedies most likely. The Blacklsit will be marathoned as well. I see a very busy winter hiatus in my future, sicne summer is alreayd booked.

  18. I first saw Criminal Minds on Ion, a network I had never heard of before this summer. It shows some of my favorite old shows, so one day I checked out Criminal Minds too. I was hooked but I cannot marathon that show. It's too intense for me so I have to dole it out in small packages so I can sleep at night.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Awesome. Thnaks for sharing. Some day I am going to try this show, but I simply don't have time right now. Maybe in the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ah, yeah, ION is great for catching up on shows of that sort, with their marathons and all. That's what helped me really get into the series as well. And there's other shows on there that I've heard good things about that I keep meaning to check out, too, so that'll be another thing to focus on down the line.
I understand that, absolutely. I watch a lot of true crime shows, so I think that helps me deal with the creepy/gruesome/violent stuff on that show a little more easily, but even then, yeah, I get that reaction. It's a dark, dark show a lot of the time-there's episodes that have lingered in my memory afterward, and not always in the happiest of ways. Thank goodness the characters are so engaging and the cast chemistry is so strong-those are the aspects of the show I love the most and watch for.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It's a really good show! I will warn, that Season 1 may seem a little slow in the beginning, as well as S2, but it defiantly worth powering through! :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Good to know. Thanks. Maybe it will be nominated for Last Week in TV and I will have an excuse to jumpstart it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. ION has replaced USA Network for me as far as marathons go. If you have a chance, check out Cold Case, one of my absolute favorite procedurals. I still miss that show. In fact, it is what brought me to ION in the first place.

I watch a lot of supernatural shows, so that stuff rarely bothers me even if it is creepy or gross. Things that could really happen like rapists and serial killers are on a whole other level for me. I prefer my scares completely fictional. I do agree that the cast is the reason to watch Criminal Minds. I was first attracted by Garcia and Reid and then Derek. I grew to love all the characters though.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Of all the new shows I'm only keeping Scorpion, Forever, RBS and Black-ish so far but I have yet to see Stalker, HTGAWM, and Gracepoint. I will likely keep The Flash and Constantine if they are as good as I'm hoping so something is definitely going to have to give! I think my winter hiatus is going to be busy as well!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I remember a time before cable. Now there are so many shows and channels that my December TV watching is already planned out. Egads!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Right? Before cable and all the summer programming, I always had plenty of time to get caught up if life got in the way for a week or two. Now, if it wasn't for Hulu, I wouldn't even know how far behind I was on each of my shows!

I missed that in the thread! The last week has been one of those life in the way kind of weeks so for the most part, I am looking at ratings and responding to people and that's it.....totally gonna vote now though :-)

    ReplyDelete
  27. So I've heard that episode 3x03 was really good last night, I haven't had a chance to see it yet, but am going to watch it later today!
