    Whoa, that was violent as hell and not at all what I was expecting but great premiere!

    And the Daryl/Carol hug was everything and brought my shipper feelings back in full force. God, I love them so much.

    That was hands down the best episode of the series! It will be tough to top this amazing episode. So freaking intense throughout the hour.

    All of the reunions were great but Carol meeting up with the group was so damn emotional, it made me tear up. I'am so happy she survived and took the group out of Terminus. Also, she has grown to become such a badass combatant! So damn proud of her.

    And it looks like we not know that Mary and Gareth were mother/son so that was interesting. What was also interesting is that Gareth wanted Terminus to actually be a sanctuary at first. Wonder how it became overtaken and hopefully we get some more flashbacks on the origin of Terminus.

    I was ready to say goodbye to Tyreese when he went outside to confront the walkers and then my jaw dropped when we learned that he killed each and every one of them and survived. So freaking badass.

    Also, hopefully we will find out who's car that was that took Beth. I'm worried for her.

    I loved the Carol/Daryl reunion. I get a lot of friendly/familiar vibes from them, but not romantic vibes. I love their relationship, but I don't want it to ever get romantic. Loved Rick and Carl reuniting with Judith. I loved seeing Tyrese save Judith and the showing of the walkers outside the house. Tyrese has mad power.

    There should be an option for f***ing awesome! Loved this ep. So good. I don't know which made me tear up more: Rick & Carl reunited with Judy or Daryl running into Carol's arms?! One of the best.

    I was really surprised that they moved from the Terminus so fast. The Terminus people look interesting and look like really brutal. After this episode though I think Carol is my favorite.

    The cannibals get no sympathy from me even if a few of them have a somewhat tragic backstory. None. I think everyone still living has a tragic backstory.


    Nice to see the gang back together with all the reunions.. Judith and Rick, Tyrese and Sasha, Tyrrese and his survival instinct, Carol and the group, Daryl and Carol, Daryl and his crossbow! Awesome return for TWD!

    The time-jumping was done very effectively!
    So often shows do time-jumping with little success and virtually no added impact, but TWD did it right. Those jumps back to Carol going special forces and the looks within the train cars added a lot to the narrative both in story and impact!

    That was one of the best episodes of TWD, for sure! The opening scene was insane and brutal..and omg, Darly and Carol reunion was amazing!! No words were necessary..and then, Rick and Carl reunion with Judith, Sasha and Tyreese reunion...it was a beautiful moment, and i loved to see all the gang together!!! Can't wait for more!!!

    (bends over and picks jaw off floor....) WOW.... what an awesomely epic way to kick off what bodes to be another great season! From the flashbacks from the get go and that awful butchering/bleeding scene to zombie ninja Carol who brought the hurt and the pain to the once good/now bad Termites (even though the pinpoint shot with the firework was a bit of a stretch, it sure looked awesome) to Tyreese getting his crusher side back when he need to, and Rick/Daryl and the team just laying waste to walkers and Termites alike, and the reunions!!!!! and then just like alot of movies nowadays..... the HUGE reveal that Morgan will be back in the picture... I love it! So happy the zombie apocalypse is back on my screen... will most likely watch this one again later this week

    This is the 5th premiere of TWD. Rarely has any other TV show had such a powerful and intense 5th season premiere. Kudos to the entire TWD team! :)

    I loved, loved, LOVED the season premiere! I'm still on a high from the episode. I just got back from a "Walking Dead" viewing party, and I'm ready to discuss my favorite show.

    I was so happy to see Morgan at the end! I love him, and I cannot wait for him to join up w/the rest of the group.

    I loved the Carol/Daryl reunion scene so much. That hug was the best!! I've been shipping those two for a long time so it was nice to see them together again. I also loved the Carol/Rick reunion scene too. I'm happy they've resolved their issues, and the group is whole once again.

    What else . . . . it was all so amazing! I loved the way the group was preparing for the Terminus peeps before they even opened the door. I loved the way Rick killed those two guys. Carol was simply awesome the entire episode. I loved how the group made their own weapons and went about killing any and everyone they say. I loved the way Tyreese killed that guy.

    What can I say? I loved it all! Great start to the season IMO. I cannot wait until next Sunday!

    I'm w/you too! I thought Rick had the right idea about killing all those freaks b/c they are indeed freaks. i cannot see them just letting Rick and his group get away w/destroying their "cannibal heaven." I'm sure we'll see Gareth again.

    Two questions:

    1) The guy in the final flashback that brought Mary back after she had been raped and took another girl before telling Gareth "No it's not" after back handing him and the guy who stomped on Rick's head ( in the big belt buckle ) after taking him from the train car are one in the same actor right ?

    2) Do you think he might be Neegan ?

    The actors name is Nelson Bonilla

    Awesome! I really didn't want to believe they Glenn was gonna get his head knocked off with a baseball bat, so I'm glad about that.

    They've got quite a big group now, and quite a formidable group they are, but I'm sure their numbers will be diminished by the end of the season :-/

    I'm seriously skeptical about Eugene's "cure". He didn't sell it well to me. I do hope that isn't going to be the whole basis for the rest of the season.

    Excellent premiere and one of the best 5 episodes of the series! Love almost every moment of it. Very suspenseful and very brutal. Slashing those 4 guys throats, one of the most brutal things I've seen on TV. Despite what that group went through before, NOBODY deserves that. They're trying to justify what they're doing but failed.

    And this is why this continue to be my favorite show, time and time again. Carol was freaking BADASS! That woman is just all sorts of awesome! I loved everything about this episode. I am bit surprised they got out of the terminus storyline so quickly but I am assuming we will see more of those guys later on? So awesome! GO CAROL!!!

    Awesome! I'm so glad the Terminus storyline has been terminated and they're not going to be staying there all season (as I had been afraid would happen). I always knew it would be either Carol or Carol and Tyreese who would free the group from Terminus and I loved how it played out. Now that Rick has turned as brutal as Carol, I think they'll get along much better.

    I've got to mention how much I was wowed by the stunt work. I know some of those characters on fire were puppets, but some were real people, and very brave.

    Great premiere. Third best episode of the series for me. Strangely though, this isn't even the best premiere (that honour goes to the Pilot). They spent just the right amount of time escaping from Terminus. Carol definitely this weeks MVP. The Morgan scene is very, very interesting too.

    I have doubts about us getting to see Beth before episode 5x04.

    Here's the description for the fourth episode:
    "Things seem safe at last, but there is a bit of a menace for another group of survivors. Another group of survivors is introduced, and although things appear safe and nice, there is a bit of a dark side."



    Also, a character named Amber, fitting the description of the woman whom Beth was spotted with in the Season 5 trailer, makes her first appearance in 5x04 - "Slabtown".
