  1. Awesome!!
Yes, I loved Emma wanting to Regina's friend and them working together with their powers, just awesome :)

  2. Good stuff! Enjoyed Regina/Emma scenes, especially the last. I liked the flashback as well. And Sidney and The Snow Queen = Mini Revolution Reunion. Loved it but still sad.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Probably the best one so far. Emma's flashbacks were way needed. And the final Emma/Regina scene should have been in season 2 but they preferred to screw Emma over.

That was the first actual cute Hook/Emma scene I've seen so far. Like there was hardly any creepines. It was actually genuine.

"The Snow Queen is Emma's former foster parent" is absolute bullshit, as it has been the last three times they've used a familial reveal.

    ReplyDelete
  4. So many great Captain Swan scenes! I think they just keep getting better and better with every episode. Oddly enough, this seems to correlate with the number of Swan Queen shippers complaining about Hook and Emma. Must be a coincidence.

Don’t be mistaken guys. That strong aura of extreme dislike and barely contained murderous intent is only masking just how much Regina wants Emma.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Glad the Snow Queen freed Sydney but holy shit at her being one of Emma's foster mothers. Did not see that one coming. How the hell?

Like Emma and Regina deciding to be friends. And I swear flashback Emma and her friend were about to start making out at any second.

    ReplyDelete
  6. To be fair, I think Rumple planted the Snow Queen to be Emma's former foster mom to keep an eye on her or something.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I hope Emma remembers the lesson she learned in this episode about not giving up on those you care about. Especially when she finds out how Hook is under Rumple's thumb. If Emma can forgive Regina to the point she is trying to forge a friendship with a woman who enacted a curse that separated Emma from her parents and tried to put her in a permanent deep sleep, then Emma can forgive Hook.

  8. I love Regina and Emma working together and Emma wanting to be Regina friend. I love that we had a little #captainswan..... never tired of those 2 lovebirds! Killian wanting to know more Emma and them both holding hand was sweet and romantic. I hope #outlawqueen get some sweet and romantic times. I really want them to be as happy as #captainswan. 🔥✴❤💘💑🙏

  9. Did not see that coming!!!! The Snow Queen being Emma's foster mother!
Loved the scenes with Emma and Regina

  10. For me the family connection has been used way to many times so I like expect it with every new character.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Love it Emma and Regina using their powers was epic and Emma saying she wants to be Regina friend happy Sydney was freed Snow and Charming stuff was cute I knew it that the Snow Queen was going to be one of Emma foster mother just have to figure out how she came in the real world happy it was less Emma and Hook

    ReplyDelete
  12. That doesn't change the reveal at all.

    ReplyDelete
  13. What even is this sad comment?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Especially since they've been telegraphing it for several episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Best scene was Emma and Regina using their powers together.

  16. I think it was a bit of an odd ep tbh. So Emma conveniently took the video camera from Lilly's house?? I mean yeah ok it enabled us to see the Snow queen is a nurse or something in her group home...thanks for that but odd she took the camera. She wouldn't even take the piece of paper with how to contact her again!!!! Why would she want a video of the 2 of them? Just find that odd. Lack of creativity for that reveal...hurry we just gotta do it here she can steal the camera!

Elsa is becoming annoying. I realize frozen is wildly popular by it's becoming painful to watch. It's like they are dragging it out at this point to get every possible second they can milk out of the words "frozen" and having "Elsa" on their commercials. I guess it's good for ratings. That's why they can't give her a new outfit....since when do the princesses and queens where their evening wear 24/7?!! Odd! "Ratings!"

I miss seeing Henry. And I can never love an ep with no Rumple.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I dunno, the episode was okay, but given how much the producers hyped the Emma/Regina story, I expected more, you know?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes! I felt the sexual tension between Emma and Lily.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The video camera was not from Lily's house. It was from the house which they crashed.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm pretty sure they said "Snow Queen" more times in this episode than Rumple's said "All magic comes with a price" all series.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It was her parents home??? How else did her dad find her there in the middle of the night?

    ReplyDelete
  22. You're right, I didn't catch on that.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Im focusing on Emma here... i love her and she is my fave since season 1, and its her journey i am following step by step hence why we see the STEP BY STEP progressing as she is main central lead here. I adore her and my heart goes out to her always!!!

I have to agree i loved the small Emma and Hook scene coz it meant alot for Emma to let him in, and share her past... and you know why... because she trusts him, she always open with him because he can read her like that and also because with the trust comes vulnerability and she feels safe with him and to embrace that and them.

And as she takes out her past aka the box...... in walks in her present and future = Hook ;) that scene was literally done like that to us this!!! and then the embrace of hands and hug.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Despite the lack of Hook, even then the Emma and Hook scenes esp at the end had impact!!! and i like that, i rather take that then counted how many scenes one had or didnt have!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Loved the episode. The Regina and Emma scenes are always my favorites. I liked how they had to work together besides their issues to stop that monster. If they both decide to use their powers together they are pretty much unstoppable, I think that's proven by now. The final scene between them was the best one. Thank God they are on friendlier terms now because I couldn't bare much of Regina not wanting anything to do with Emma. The bit where Emma was walking away and Regina says "Emma, wait... I don't want to kill you" was kinda funny, and then Ema says "See? That's a start" was so freaking cute. ALSO REGINA CALLED HER EMMA, AGAIN. So yeah, she is not that mad at her anymore.

Sidney working for the Snow Queen DID surprise me, though. He must have been tired of working for Regina and not being freed. I do want him to come back to Regina and work against the Snow Queen. Also, when I was seeing Sidney and Snow Queen's scenes I kept thinking that it must have been nice for Liz Mitchell and Giancarlo Esposito to reunite on OUAT and work together, again. They didn't since Revolution (NBC) not long ago if you are wondering.

In the flashbacks I thought Lily and Emma were gonna kiss at some point. IDEK, but it totally looked like it to me, lol. Talking about Lily, I read someone on tumblr say that it would make for an interesting plot twist if Lily was on Storybrooke somehow and I was like... OMG?!?

Snow encountering Will was funny. How she said that she was married to the sheriff and Will was like You are married to the blonde? and Snow says, That's my daughter (you idiot)
other sheriff and Will looks even more confused. PRICESLESS. Now I want more scenes of them interacting. Hope it happens.

The Captain Swan moments were adorable, as usual! I love how they keep entwining fingers. And the cheek kiss Killian gave to Emma at the beginning of the episode was so cute and couple-like. Loved it! I also like how Emma keeps opening up to Killian and trusting him. By the way, I do wanna see Killian sharing his life and what he was like before he became a pirate with Emma, as well.

The last scene with the revelation that The Snow Queen knew Emma in her teen years did surprise me, but I have been seeing lots of theories that talked about it so it didn't like took my by surprise that much. I was like I KNEW IT! And then again, I was still with the same face than Emma? IDEK, I'm weird, this doesn't make sense, lol. But it's cool we're starting to know more stuff.

PS: Belle babysitting baby Neal in the background was cute.

The promo for next week looked fun and intense. For a moment I thought I saw Outlaw Queen and Captain Swan teaming-up to go look for the Snow Queen or something and was like OH MY GOD THEY ARE TEAMING UP? YAY! But wasn't sure so I had to watch the promo again and was happy to see I saw right.

Didn't look to good for Rumbelle, though. Who knows what's gonna happen. Hurry up next Sunday! Can you believe we're on the Sixth episode, already? Not long ago we were UGH waiting for S4 to premiere. LOL.

  26. Dislike:
Randomly having Hook and Belle in the episode

    Liked:
Everything Snow Queen from capturing Elsa, turning Sidney against Regina, and learning she knew Emma not only as an Adult in Storybrooke but as a teen. This chick has screwed with Emma's memories at least twice and i hope we learn why she did.
Will playing Snow. i thought for a second he was trying to find a hole to Wonderland.
The Emma/Regina team. I'm have been on the Emma bandwagon since she bought Marian back, but i did enjoy Emma and Regina teaming up and maybe slowly becoming friends.
The flashback with young Emma was something I have been waiting for. 3 years b4 she met Neal (1998).
Speaking of Neal I like seeing the pic of him and Emma. i miss him
I like this Lilly girl. i hope we see her again.
Speaking of Lilly, this was presented a while ago and i wonder if its still true:

Question: Any scoop at all about the fourth season of Once Upon a Time? —Advanteege

Ausiello: Is Henry en route to having his first crush? (And if so, has he picked the wrong gal?) The ABC series in casting the recurring role of Lily, a bright, self-reliant teen who boasts a “charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist.” Watch for this lass to first appear in Episode 5.

    http://tvline.com/2014/08/19/ask-ausiello-spoilers-sons-of-anarchy-castle-greys-anatomy-spoilers/

    I give this a solid A (9/10)

  27. I loved the reveal that the Snow Queen followed Emma to Storybrooke

    ReplyDelete
  28. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO WILL!!!, i need to know now damn it and i liked his scene with mary margaret, what's with emma and pop-tarts lol, and that reunion with elizabeth mitchell and giancarlo esposito was cool and i knew sarah was emma's foster mother, every time i see hook with emma it feels like i'm betraying neal and it didn't help seeing that great picture with emma and her true love neal, i wish they never introduced belle she brings nothing to the show she can't even redeem gold

    ReplyDelete
  29. You're thinking too much into it. She probably stole the camera by putting it in her bag or something before she found out the truth about Lilly. She said herself that she hadn't watched the video until now, so it's not like she was attached to it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. LMAO one day of knowing a girl and the other all crying and being all dramatic like WTF.
So who is grown up Lily from?. From what Magical kingdom is she? That mark is not just to look pretty.
The Snow Queen wants a family so she is trying to do what? changes everyone's minds about her? btww that was some great scene Sidney and her talking with that song on the background was kind of epic, i dunno but it's my favorite part of the whole episode.
Still they are keeping us in the dark with Will's situation, WTH happened in Wonderland. And cute stuff Snow with Charming.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I really liked the scene where Emma tells Regina she wants to be Regina's friend. That was a sweet scene for those two characters, and I witnessed some character growth so that was nice.

I also love that Sidney was freed from the mirror!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Wasn't long ago that I complained about how crappy season 4 was being. And I meant every word, the first four episodes were, generally speaking, a complete letdown. But my God, did they turn it around for this one... Episode 4.05 was virtually perfect, a complete joy to watch from start to finish, so I feel I owe them some credit. Make no mistake, I am not a mere hater, I adore this show and am fully invested in it, I only give it crap when I feel it lets me down, which it has for most of the season so far. One could argue it was still building up, but four episodes is plenty to leave an impression, and it was a bad one. But, Jesus, episode 5 was fantastic, I loved pretty much everything about it, from the most touching Emma flashbacks we've had, to the Emma/Regina partnership, to the glass staircase, to Mary Margaret interacting with Will, to the Snow Queen and her mirror and to Sidney actually living, despite rumors he'd be killed off. I loved, loved, loved this episode.

Wow, this season really is beyond impressive. Elizabeth Mitchell's portrayal of the Snow Queen deserves an emmy for that episode alone. That scene with her and Sidney in her cave was brilliant.

The flashbacks were very well done as well, the two actors were brilliant for the roles (I cried when Emma left Lily :/ ).

I loved the Regina/Emma interactions as well, that smile Emma gave Regina nearly melted my heart :P (pun not intended lol)

And The Snow Queen just wanting a family that loves her (like Lily)...DAMN YOU OUAT FOR ALWAYS MAKING ME FEEL BAD FOR YOUR VILLAINS!

    ReplyDelete
  34. If the Snow Queen and Sydney end up falling in love......*Sigh* I sincerely hope that that isn't what the writers are thinking! But who knows with this show as the Snow Queen did have an admirer who was her servant in the original story(At least in the version I watched... he was a Polar Bear who turned into her prince in the end)

  35. Can't write more than all other below have written. Awesome, speechless! and can't mention it enough: since yet, best season. And always to wait a week for a new episode, very hard!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Still not worse than how many times you hear the word "spy" in any given ep of Chuck.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nothing short of amazing this week. Really loved it!
Why can't OUAT deliver episodes like this more often?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ending scene wast the best thing ever!

    ReplyDelete
  39. You know....after watching tonight I began to wonder if they made some serious changes to the writing staff. This season feels so much tighter in terms of story. (For the past few season I have found myself ranting about some aspect of the story.) So far I am enjoying this season with zero complaints. Tonight, really liked the moment between Emma and Regina. (I want someone to get Elsa a new dress.) Awesome episode for me.

    ReplyDelete
  40. And the Snow Queen was roaming her icy abode barefoot. Excellent touch IMHO

    ReplyDelete
  41. was this really necessary?

    ReplyDelete
  42. So, the SQ was a foster mother to Emma. And they met once again when Emma arrived in Storybrooke (which explains the SQ recognizes her easily but not whe Emma doesn't)....mystery, mystery...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Awesome episode and WOW ending was completely unexpected.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Awesome ep! Everything I love about Ouat was in it (except Rumple and Henry but we can't have everything). It was like my favorite show was really back (even if I loved a lot of parts in the 4 first episodes).

Emma and Regina's interactions are always the best and I love that it wasn't JUST about them being Henry's moms since they didn't mentioned him once when talking about their relationship. Emma and Regina are so different but at the same time, they have so much in commun and Emma noticing that was great. Seeing them using their magic together is always so powerful and satisfying. Team Magic Moms for the win ;)

As an Emma fan, I still think Regina is a little too harsh since she did wronged Emma a lot and I want them to talk about it too (not only how Emma hurt Regina) but I also think Emma's right when she said that Regina did a lot FOR her too (raising and loving the kid Emma wasn't ready for back then, giving her a perfect life with Henry in Going Home, helping her with her magic, saving Emma's brother and family multiples times now....).

This relationship is so complexe and interesting, the build up is so slow and so well written. That's why I can't help shipping them regardless of their gender and their past (and I'm also fine with the "platonic love" road they're taking because it's just goooood relationship and OUAT is always better at family stuffs than romance stuffs anyway).

Elsa being badass and her conversations with Emma were great.
Lily(Lilith?)/young!Emma was cute even if they've known each other for like 2 days but that's OUAT :p I hope we'll see more of her (and can we talk about how perfect the Ouat casting always is???, young!Emma, Elsa, Anna.....).

Will is still perfect, Snow and Charming were cute. Belle babysitting Neal was great but too short.
The last CS scene didn't bother me that much because JMO's acting was beyond the chart and the "reveal" was expected but still amazing. The SQ is such a great character especially because of EM's performance and her backstory with Emma. I can't wait for more of that :D

    ReplyDelete
  45. This episode was amazing... until Snow Queen said "Family that loves me". Is Wicked Witch thing again - I want to be special, loved, etc... I hoped they will do something more special with Snow Queen. And like most of us taught, Snow queen is Emma's Foster Mum, or the person from foster home. The flashbacks were boring for me. Finally we get to see more Regina, and I enjoyed every single scene with her in it. Great character development for both Emma and Regina. I still have no idea what is Will Scarlet doing in Storybrook, and looking forward to finding it out. Anyway the episode was great. I felt a little down by the Snow Queen's motives, but I hope there's something more in that story. Can't wait for next Sunday!

  46. Epic episode

    ReplyDelete
  47. What I find amusing how obsessed the Hook and Emma fans on various comment sites are with Regina and Emma. Or maybe it's just the same few people commenting on everyone of those sites. But either way. It's unnecessary and embarrassing for the Emma and Hook fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Presumably the same person who took a picture of Neal and Emma when they were alone in a park.

    ReplyDelete
  49. And the Snow Queen could fix her problem if she'd just quit erasing everyone's memories.

    ReplyDelete
  50. He has to come clean with quite a few things tho, that's why i'm wondering if Emma will forgive. He's lied to her during their relationship, hasn't told her he sold out little Bae, the eric/ariel thing, and now the deal with Rumple. I think when everything comes out it will be a real test for Emma. But it'll be entertaining to watch. :) (not a hateful comment, btw, i'm actually curious about how everything will blow over) :))

  51. You'll never beat 'I will always find you' ;D

  52. Fionn (was Teen Wolfers)27 October 2014 at 12:12

That was actually Elizabeth's Mitchell's idea. She was supposed to wear high heels but she said she looks odd walking in them, so she's barefoot all the time, even in the woods.

    ReplyDelete
  53. as we say in French : "le mystère s'épaissit".

    ReplyDelete
  54. and Jennifer Morrison was awesome in the ending scene !

  55. Banged by Corey Stoll27 October 2014 at 13:52

How is it possible that Elsa is still wearing that dress after 5 episodes? Didn'it begin to get dirty, xpecially with such a long train?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I feel the creators cheated by saying the villain this time would not be related to anyone on the show, the Snow Queen may not be related by blood to anyone but there is still a significant relation to someone,

    ReplyDelete
  57. It's usually in response to Snow Queen shippers. They practically invaded the Captain Swan tag on tumblr last night.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Nope. Neither was the Swan Queen shippers invading the Captain Swan tag last night on tumblr to tell us to shutup so they can enjoy what little the show is giving them. They started this, if they can't take it right back then they need to take their own advice.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Another fantastic episode!

The reveal that the Snow Queen was one of Emma's foster mothers took me completely by surprise, it was brilliant! For a second I thought that Lily was going to be the Snow Queen considering that she too wanted a loving family. And I'm glad that we got to learn more about Emma's past :) But holy shit, the sexual tension between her and Lily was insane.

And we finally have some character development!! I'm all for Regina and Emma becoming friends from now on. An episode focusing so much on these two pivotal characters is was made this episode freaking awesome. I have been dying for them to finally put aside their differences and just work together because honestly when they're together, no one can stop them. "I don't want to kill you" Progress! And how badass was that scene when they defeated the ice soldier?!

Sidney betraying Regina and actually working with the Snow Queen all along was a great reveal. But he better watch out because Regina is coming after him in a heartbeat! She doesn't mess around.

Loved seeing Elsa building her starecase just like she did in Frozen. So damn cool and the Snow Queen's lair was beautiful!

And the Thor reference in the episode was awesome. "If we fall through a portal to Asgard, wherever we are". And it's hilarious because Josh Dallas was actually in the first Thor movie XD

    ReplyDelete
  60. i am loving Will Scarlett so much

    ReplyDelete
  61. This episode was BEYOND awesome, I loved it, the best of the season so far, Regina/Emma scenes were the best, love them together, and finally we learn more about the Show Queen :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. It was bad. Emma is my favourite character and I waited fo her centric episode for so long. But writers ruined it with Regina's crap. She was so annoying. She doesn't deserve Emma's kindness and frienship.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Awesome. On a slightly related note....my cousin remarked that Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder) looks extremely uncomfortable walking in her heels. She does. She walks like a tomboy forced into girl shoes. :-) Elizabeth Mitchell was wise and the producers were in listening to her.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Fionn (was Teen Wolfers)27 October 2014 at 16:52

Yh I noticed that about Viola lol, it's kind of distracting :P

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ooowww come on we're on Spoiler TV! Can we leave the "ship wars" to Tumblr and Twitter and keep this site for more intelligent conversations than "it's not me they started it boooooo hoooooo :'( ".

And when will people understand that there's NO perfect group of shippers?! For CSers, SQers are THE WORST EVER!1! For SQers, it's the CSers.... Seriously this will NEVER end anyway so why bring it here...?

    ReplyDelete
  66. And I was in the Swan Queen tag and saw CSers posting gifs of Hook and Emma kissing in our tag. Chances are, if you're seeing misbehavior from one fanbase, it's in response to other misbehavior. There's no point in pointing fingers when you don't know who started it and bad behavior was (presumably) from everyone.

  67. Samantha Petrelli27 October 2014 at 23:20

Loved it!!! Finaly an episode more focused on the "old cast", I'm already tired of the Frozen stuff, too much too fast.

    ReplyDelete
  68. To me it was just two lonely girls desperate to have a best friend. Girls can have friendships that look like they're in love or whatever (but they're not).

    ReplyDelete
  69. Freakin' Awesome! This episode had so much going for it.

Loved Regina and Emma working together and bonding again, possibly becoming friends.

Loved the Elsa and Snow Queen scenes, with the mysterious hints, and character development for Elsa (overcoming her fear, being able to use her magic against the Snow Queen). That brings me to how much I loved the totally spectacular special effects. I loved the scenes of Elsa doing her magic the most, especially the cool ice staircase scene, which had great effects, combined with how good directing.

Loved David and Mary Margaret's adventure, and Mary Margaret feeling more like herself again. Those were really cute scenes of the couple.

Will Scarlet is turning out to be an interesting recurring character. I like how he's so different from many of the characters in Storybrooke.

Loved Emma's character development in this episode, with learning to forgive and not lose a friend, as well as a little more use of her magic again. I'm really excited about that last scene with the Snow Queen possibly having been a foster mom for Emma in her childhood.
