  1. Elizabeth Mitchell was just amazing!! She looke beautiful and so happy she's back on TV!!

  2. There were so many great Captain Swan moments, with Elsa thrown in to make it even better. Hook and Elsa acting all brotp, Emma trying to keep Hook out of danger, her magic being a lot stronger when protecting him, and her admission that she's scared to lose him because she can't live without him.

Seriously how do people not ship them? I'm not judging, well maybe I am a little bit, but they're adorable! How could you hate them?

  3. 3 for 3, season 4 continues to be amazing! Snow Queen stole the show!!!
When Henry was reading the comic books for Thor, there was a coincidence where Josh Dallas was in the movie Thor.

Also, Hook and Emma are so perfect together. There's nothing I disliked about this episode. I can't wait for next week!!

  4. Elizabeth Mitchell was amazing I know my theory going be right that the Snow Queen is connected to Emma past can't wait for that storyline also called it that she is Elsa aunt look like Will Scarlet going fit nice in Storybrooke like Elsa and Kristoff scenes like the advice Dr. Hopper gave Snow great episode could've done without Emma and Hook scene

  5. My favorite episode this season so far. I needed more Will but i got alot of Elizabeth. She is a badass Snow Queen. And she knows Emma. wow. The mystery! this getting beyond exciting! I"M LOVING IT

    ReplyDelete
  6. Elizabeth Mitchell is awesome and I love her so much. And I'm still shipping Elsa/Kristoff a little. Oops. But to be fair, I'm also shipping Emma/Elsa.

Loved Hook having issues with cell phones and I'm pretty convinced the Snow Queen is a Regina/Robin shipper. And he loves her! I can't even.

  7. I liked Elsa and Kristoff and Elsa and Hook parallels past v present, Emma saving her men, and the kiss

    ReplyDelete
  8. Emma afraid of losing Hook <3

  9. She a black widow what do expect

  10. Hook is good at surviving ;) he is different to all her other men because he loves to the ends of the earth and beyond :)

  11. I can ship Elsa with almost everyone on this show.

  12. Elizabeth Mitchell was amazing. I had zero doubts she would be, though. Her reaction at seeing Emma and how she said her name, now that had me "WOW, WHAT'S GOING ON?!?" Also her chatting session with Rumple surprised me too. Even though I saw a promo where I knew they would talk but they chatted with such a familiarity that makes you wonder wth is Rumple up to.

Emma saving Killian and then Killian/Charming was one of the highlights for me. I ship Captain Swan a lot and she using magic and a really strong magic to protect him made my heart melt. Their scene outside Granny's was wonderful too. Emma saying that she can't lost him too. UGH ALL THE FEELS. I just wish they would stop zooming-out their kisses so we could actually see them kissing. LOOKING FORWARD TO THEIR DATE ON THE NEXT EPISODE. THE PROMO OMFG.

Okay and last but not less important. I'm so glad Robin's TLK on Marian didn't work. I love Regina and Robin together, and Robin then admitting to her that he is in low with someone else and Regina smiling at that was precious. Still suck they can't be together, though. But oh well, they will be... eventually.

Oh, and the scene between Regina and Henry was amazing, too. I love to see those two bonding. And I'm glad she didn't try to lie to him and told him the truth right away when he asked. Operation Mongoose FTW!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Agreed with one little sidenote. I'm surprised at Henry's reaction when Regina told him of her plan to rewrite her story in the book. I kind of expected Henry to say you really can't rewrite history. Regina doesn't need to rewrite history, she just needs to stay on the path of redemption that she is on now. Just wait and see, Regina will sabotage her chance at happiness in the present if she insists on changing the past.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I hope that doesn't happen, I want her to have her happy ending, I really love Regina.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Captain Swan win for most romantic moment. Regina wins for most character growth. Rumple wins for character regression. Robin wins for telling the truth. This episode was full of win!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Regina didnt say rewrite to henry. she said she wanted the author to write her a happy ending

    ReplyDelete
  17. Regina needs to work for a happy ending not rewrite the book

    ReplyDelete
  18. That magic was proper force she came out with, when saving her daddy and boyfriend.

I feel like Hook is Emma's Anna.... what Anna is to Elsa. Because Hook believes in her and her magic, and to embrace due to who she is as Emma Swan

    ReplyDelete
  19. Still a tricky proposition. Since the book contains the accounts of when the characters where in the Enchanted Forest, wouldn't that fundamentally change the past if the author was to write in a happy ending for Regina? Since the author has not altered the book to date, the story ended when the Evil Queen cast the first curse that transported everyone to Storybrook minus their memories. That is with the exception when Emma and Hook were taken from the present and landed in the past. It wasn't the author, but Emma and Hook's actions changed the past and therefore the story. Look at the ripple effect that little adventure caused. If Regina was to have the author write her a happy ending, at whose expense would it be that is currently in the book? I still say if Regina wants her happy ending, then she needs to put in the work and stay on her path to redemption.

    ReplyDelete
  20. But Hook is different, she is a born survivor and he is one man who has always come back to her. And loves her like she is his whole world, which she is.

    ReplyDelete
  21. i wonder how the snow queen knows emma because she actually looked sad that emma didn't remember her, elizabeth mitchell's voice didn't exude evil but her eyes did but she's good in the role, loved seeing Will back on the once upon a time universe but they seriously need to explain in what timeline once upon a time in wonderland happened because will went to wonderland it seemed like in season 2 and then alice, cyrus and the rabbit went to storybrooke we don't really know when, he's calling himself a thief when he so obviously changed during once upon a time in wonderland and got his heart back and married ana and became the white king so i hope they really explain it, didn't punching through marian's chest hurt a lot lol, i hate hook but lol with the phone and the "Emma Button"

    ReplyDelete
  22. So many interesting stuff. Was Elsa being manipulated and so that's why Anna had to put ehr in the bottle?.
I foudn really weird that Henry was on bard in Regina's plan for the book but maybe it's because she wants her to be happy so he expects that will happen. I can already see the person who wrote the book telling
"My dears, you cant rewrite an story the same way you cant rewrite the past, Regina already has her future written. I cant change that"

Wow that was an amazing episode!

I'm already shipping Will & Charming (Warming)
Elizabeth Mitchell was fantastic! I wonder what she and Gold are up to and how she knows Emma.
Seeing Emma use her powers was really awesome.
The flashbacks were really good, I can't wait to see more of them.

    ReplyDelete
  24. She totally raised Emma!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. okay, why Gold is being such a dick? Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he more amenable and on somewhat pleasant terms with everyone, claiming to have changed for love and family etc... and now all the sudden he seems to be one cranky man-bitch all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  26. "black widow" implies she a murderer which she is not. more like bad luck in the romance department.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i think you're right lorepottter the way she said her name was very motherly and again she looked very hurt when emma didn't recognize her

    ReplyDelete
  28. Was it meant as a Frozen reference in the scene with Mr. Hopper and Snow white when Hopper told Snow to "let it go?"

    ReplyDelete
  29. Great episode again. How can we not love Once upon a time.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Emma's magic seems to really work when Hook is there ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Elizabeth Mitchell, she was great! I still think Rachel, or Juliet when I see her preform though

    ReplyDelete
  32. Mr.Gold is Mr.Gold, you've to deal with him...that why I like him so much: as Mr.Gold and Rumplestilskin. When he would suddenly be nice/good, then all would cry out and say/write: this can't be, he will never change blablabla...this is what makes the difference: he is and remains as he is

    ReplyDelete
  33. well, but doesn't that negate any character growth? all the stuff he did for his son or Belle "to be a better man" if he is just going to continue to be evil, sneaky etc... makes anything his character does seem pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  34. also why was the Snow Queen suddenly wearing a ball gown in the woods when before she was wearing normal clothes?

    ReplyDelete
  35. He is selfish and concerned for his safety. Feelings are there, but who always "cheated" him. And I still believe in his good heart, this I have mentioned earlier. I love all its facets, as Mr.Gold so as Rumplestilskin. It would be boring if he would change "too fast".

    ReplyDelete
  36. You know...it occurred to me...Reginia knew how to do a Queen's wardrobe. Why does Elsa have one dress. And why has Emma not offered to take her shopping. :-) (And why am I suddenly obsessed with the wardrobe on this show? lol )

Can someone refresh my memory of the season premiere? Did Gold give Belle the real dagger? I thought he did.

Loved the Henry/Regina scene. Enjoyed the ep. A couple of great lines and I liked the character work. (Is Snow carrying a real baby or one of the high end mechanical dolls? If its a baby I feel for the child's parents. They won't be able to put him down. :-D Also, if it's a real baby, I felt kind of bad for him when she was struggling with the stroller.)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Since what she's talking about is having the author write her a happy ending...it doesn't preclude Regina continuing to stay on her path of redemption *being* a required part of that happy ending.

    ReplyDelete
  38. yes, he gave her the real dagger back, but in the end, he wanted to know what for sorcery was on the table, so used the real one. And when the magic hat appeared, he knew to keep the real dagger to can work/find out what's about this hat. (sorry, English isn't my first language)

  39. You did fine. And thank you for the response.

It was really amazing episode and now I am a great fan of Elizabeth Mitchell and her Snow Queen.
And I also start to think about her motivations and Emma... What if our time travelers change future a little bit more than they think? What if they really altered some Emma's history by bringing Elsa's urn? And Snow Queen actually raise Emma? (or how "new" plot twist, OUAT< but still... and I tell altered - because they already shown us 14 or 16 years old Emma in orphanage, but of cause Snow Queen can raise her in her youngest ages and then something bad happened and Emma back to orphanage).
And maybe THIS Emma doesn't remember anything because she is a time-traveler? I think it will explain why Snow Queen was not in Storybrooke at last curse (or she just sit there, wait about 3 years to do something and selling ice-cream?). But it still does not explain us why Snow Queen looking so young. She must be what... 60-70-years old already? Some "frozing-age-magic"?
Maybe this is just some crazy idea, don't think that OUAT writers gonna mess up with time lines and altered history. But still - butterfly effect works great with time travels...

  45. The whole thing was simply amazing!
I had stopped watching Lost before Elizabeth Mitchell's character showed up so I wasn't so familiar with her,but now I get why people where rooting for her. She's really great as the Snow Queen so far.Looking forward to seeing what her connection with Emma is.

I'm so glad that Marian didn't die(yet)!I mean,I want Regina and Robin together and I have no doubts that it will happen sooner or later, but killing Marian is the easy way out.I know it could happen, but I'm kinda hoping for another solution.

Emma and Hook continue to be awesome! It was so good seeing Emma opening up about her fears.Knowing how much the writers love their parallels,I'm thinking that Hook and Emma are supposed to parallel Anna and Elsa here. They're pointing out again and again that Anna's presence helps Elsa control her magic. So far we've seen Emma's magic work brilliantly when Hook is concerned or around. It won't surprise me if the Snow Queen works it out and uses Hook to get to Emma.In fact, all these lines("...unless another monster appears and kills me" and "If ther's one thing I'm good at,it's surviving") can possibly work as a foreshadowing. Not that he's gonna die,of course, but something bad could happen to him that requires Emma to take drastic measures.I was expecting a slower build up and perhaps a True Love's kiss in the season finale, but with what we're getting so far I won't be surprised if it happens sooner, like the mid-season finale.

Sneaky Gold is by far my favorite kind of Gold and I also liked Hook figuring things out pretty much instantly.I just hope that Belle figures it out on her own.I don't want anyone telling her.It would be nice if she could see things clearly once in a while when it comes to Rumplestiltskin.Which she does sometimes.Other times on the other hand her naivety when it comes to him can be a little frustrating.

  46. Great episode! But I feel everything is dedicated to frozen. I want some Regina/Rumple/Snow-centric episodes. I love the frozen story, but I just miss the main characters. Rumple and Regina are barely visible in last two episodes. And there is too much Emma and Hook (even though I like them, I have a feeling they are in every scene)

Lol it's worth shipping just for the ship name! I was so happy to see Will again :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Roland using the 'but Regina would let me!' card was absolutely precious. I had to pause the ep and laugh for ages, oh, Roland. I continue to love Elsa. Emma and Hook are still the second-worst part of the show for me. And Regina - Regina, love, I wish you all that's best.

Good episode, too much frozen-centric, however.
I'm more focused on the magic hat from Fantasia and the Book author storyline.

  50. Elizabeth Mitchell is one of those actresses that kills it in every role she plays, no matter what the character is. I love her as the Snow Queen and I want to know how she knows Emma!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I've never been as intrigued as this time. The Snow Queen knows Emma, Rumple is involved and it makes me feel so excited. One thing I learned: avoid spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  52. They just keep on delivering amazing episodes! I'am so freaking satisfied with season 4 so far.

It was so great to see Will show up in Storybrooke! Hopefully we will see him again because he is just bloody awesome and hilarious.

Tyler Jacob Moore gave the perfect portrayal of Hans. He was conniving and cruel just like how he was in Frozen. Great job.

It was totally obvious that Elsa and the Snow Queen are related and are niece/aunt. But her framing Elsa for all the chaos that is going on in Storybrooke right now was messed up. Talk about an evil aunt!

I laughed so hard when Emma called the Snow Queen "Dairy Queen"! HA! I love that restaurant :) And I love that Emma is using her powers more and more. Do not mess with her!

Regina and Henry planning the mission to find the author of the Storybook was so great. This mother/son bonding time is going to be so freaking awesome to watch! Operation Mongoose is in full effect! Love that name.

I wonder how the Snow Queen knows Emma and why Rumple is making sure that she doesn't know. The theory going around that she was Emma's foster parent seems pretty accurate so far. Looking forward to see how this plot will develop.

And that final scene! Ohhh, that made my heart melt so much. Emma saying to Hook that she is scared to lose him and then he comes back and says "If there's one thing I'm good at, it's surviving" was so freaking cute and lovely and god I love them so much. Can't wait for the big CaptainSwan date next week!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Each episode is better than the previous one.
I think thhe evil Snow Queen is a good villain(although every time I see Elizabeth Mitchell I think about Juliet and how much I miss Lost).I loved Hans. He's as idiot as in the movie.
I haven't watched ouat in wonderland but I liked Will Scarlett. He looks funny.
Captain Swan scene was amazing. I love Hook and Emma as a couple.I'm glad Emma opened her heart.
Rumplestinskin knows the evil Snow Queen.Surprise!(sarcasm). This shows that he will never change and he can't be redeemed, like Regina. He will always be a villain.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm so happy too! I hope he will stay on he show for a long long while.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I love this episode! BUT...

I think I'm speaking only for myself now, and others would violently disagree with me, but I am a bit sick with Rumple always ending up regressing from the development that he had in past season. Why would he want to help Snow Queen? Why would he keep lying and lying and lying? He is the most powerful person in Storybrooke, why would he need to make deals and be selfish all the freaking time? Hook could transform from being a villain, and Regina is on her way now too. But Rumple, oh god.... He needs to keep being the villain. We have a lot of villains that can keep this show fresh. Rumple is making me sick.

But other than that, great episode!!

  56. I am really enjoying the show right now. It's entertaining, the writing is spot on, the casting has done a great job with the Frozen characters, the special effects have continued to amaze, etc.

I like how most of the characters are written so well, being true to their character and history, while also being utilized correctly. It was great when Jiminy was the one to counsel Snow White. Hook being the one to call out Rumple on his lies, due to their history, was also a good way to advance plot, while making Hook useful. Will Scarlet's thieving ways was a good way to clue the team in on the Snow Queen. Kristoff's knowledge of the mountain regions proved useful for Arendelle too.

I like the Arendelle flashback scenes. They're a nice change of pace from the FTL flashbacks, which has been done ad nauseum, at this point. Plus, they fill in a lot of story for viewers to see what got Elsa and the other Frozen characters to this current point in the timeline, as well as continue the story from the movie. Elsa and Kristoff have great acting chemistry, to the point where I wish the movie had time to give these two characters more scenes together. That brings me to my next point, which is how in awe I am at the actors playing Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff. They're really nailing their roles. And I loved Elsa's hair in the flashback.

I'm also really enjoying how Regina and Henry's mother-son interactions are written. Henry's been reacting appropriately, for his age, and for the circumstance (ie, when he was angry at his mom for isolating herself even from him). Now that he's gotten through to her, I continue to be pleasantly surprised at Henry's support of Regina, from her quest to find the storybook author, to helping her find a heart box in her vault. I think Henry would be great as Regina's sidekick. I look forward to seeing more development in their mother-son relationship, as they go in search of the storybook author. Hopefully, that part of the storyline will be interesting.

The show is once again my favorite, and I impatiently look forward to the next episode. I love that it feels like season one again, when I couldn't wait for the next episode to air. Great job to all involved with the show!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Then I just hope he'll come back next season with Anastasia as series regular too! :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Is it just me, or does anyone else think it could be possible that the snow queen is Elsa from the future? They do look alike, and I'm pretty sure she's not her "aunt". That or she must have a foster connection with Emma, because they way she looked at her was definitely a sister like bond from before. Emma had nothing but magical creatures around her in plain sight during her upbringing, wouldn't be too far fetched that she'd have a ice princess foster sister/mother. Even when she didn't know she was magic she was attracting magic people to her (except for her suitors, they aren't magical at all.... Perhaps she'd be best off with a magical guy whom has the powers of immortality....maybe rumple has a cousin?).
