  1. I'm a little surprised Juliette went to Rayna, but she really didn't have anyone else. I love Avery's song at the end.

I really don't ship Rayna with anyone so her lovelife is kind of boring me. I feel like she is secretly trying to use "Layna" to help her career while vocally opposing the exposure.

  2. I'm disappointed than, not only do we have to deal with the on again/off again relationship of Rayna and Deacon, the writers are doing the same (at the same time) with Juliette and Avery. For me? It's getting old, fast. I wish they get back to the music.

I think the reason Juliette went to Rayna is because Rayna was in the same boat when she was pregnant with Maddie. Rayna would 'get it.'

  3. I liked this episode but I'm sick of the ongoing love stories the writers are ruining great characters with the couples they try to create and get people to like. I hate Luke, he has issues and is jealous of Deacon, his anger is a bit much and Rayna is an idiot for thinking he's a good person and a better choice for her.

  4. I gave it an OK.
I share the frustration with some of the people posting here. The show has overdone the love triangle thing. The first season was Deacon-Rayna-Teddy and Avery-Scarlett-Gunnar. This season is Deacon-Rayna-Luke and Zoe-Gunnar-Scarlet/the new girl. This is tiresome and uninteresting.
The Layla/Will storyline is also exhausted.
I liked that Juliette went to Rayna for advice.
I keep coming back to this show for the music -- I loved the ballad version of "Most Beautiful Girl" by Avery at the end. But if the writing doesn't improve I might as well wait until the original soundtrack is released.

  5. I think Luke is another Teddy.

  6. Here, here! T Bone Burnett's song selections make this show. We haven't heard enough of the music this season. Hearing a few bars of a song from Rayna, Deacon, Luke, Will . . . while on stage, is not what we've come to expect. Too much drama. Too much soap. Not enough music.
