  1. Awesome. Love the way the storyline is flowing and the fact that Coulson is not totally okay. He is struggling in his new position and with the alien influence but I kind of enjoy watching it happen because he's human and he's allowed to be stressed.

Loving Henry and his helping out Fitz without talking down to him or babying him like the others around the base who just ignore him. Please powers that be do not make Henry a traitor working for Hydra and do not kill him off. He's great. Also like seeing Fitz break a smidgen out of his shell with Henry's help. He is still a very valuable member of the team and I like seeing his ideas still being there even if he trouble recalling everything.

  2. Loved seeing Raina again and whoa at the end with Skye's father. He's terrifying already and this is going to end badly.

Already shipping Fitz/Mack. Oops. And oh shit at Coulson and May and the alien writing.

  7. - YAY - Raina. Love that she is back and smooth as her silk dresses.
    - Fitz has once again killed me - what a great performance again this week. Beautifully subtle.
    - No Ward which dramatically reduces our chances of seeing him naked in a padded cell ... it could happen.
    - Coulson ... I am totally engrossed in his storyline right now. I wanna know what that shit is NOW. I too love how they are portraying him as slightly losing it. It's like whatever those drawing are start to make him crazy if he doesn't let it out from time to time. He's still dropping his one-liners like he's trying to hold on to who he really is but it feels more forced like he's trying to convince himself.
    - Skye ... you're whining a bit ... knock it off.
    - Oooh Creepy Kyle MacLachlan - made the hair on the back of my neck wiggle. Also, soap is your friend.

  8. Awesome episode!

Awww, I love that Mack is assisting with Fitz. He's the only person that Fitz has interacted the most than anyone else. I could see a strong friendship forming between them in the future. And LOL at Mack calling him "Turbo"! That nickname is awesome and I'am probably going to call Fitz that from now on XD

Also, I'm sorry Lance but you do not shoot May, Skye, and Tripp with an ICER. You should watch your back from now on, buddy. But I like that he has joined Coulson's team. He seems like a nice guy so far.

That Philinda scene in Coulson's office at the end was just adorable. "I'm tired of fighting it." "So don't. That's why I'm here". I love that she's helping him through his ordeal. Their friendship is the best.

I STILL believe that Izzy is somehow alive haha (I'll probably be in denial forever). But come on, you don't just waste Lucy Lawless like that. LMD, anyone? Please?

I'm still going with my theory that the Obelisk contains Infinity Stones because of its effect when touching it if you're not strong enough to handle the power. I could be wrong but who knows. And it looks like we got our first look at Skye's father! Kyle MacLachlan is going to be fantastic in this role since he plays frightening/intimidating so well.

I love the reveal that The Bus has been successfully cloaked! That last scene was so badass.

  9. Seemed like a serial episode, with it connecting right where last ep left off. But maybe this is only for first 2 ep for the comeback. next episode will tell more.

Fitz moment were probably my favorite this ep. His new Buddy Mack is cool. Hope them to become good company while Simmons is gone and based on promo joined Hydra for some reason.
-Usually before I also liked Skye scenes but this ep her scenes were mainly in team format, so it was less appealing.

Coulson still having Alien Writing "episodes" was expected. I was kinda waiting for it. I mean you can't have something like that happen and then just stay dormant, so glad it was back. But seems like Coulson and May want to keep it a secret from Skye, probably for protection. But you know what happens when you keep secrets from people who are answer seekers, and Skye is one of those people. Maybe that might lead her to her Father, and if so, probably temporary.

Hunter is the new guy so it will probably be a while, or if ever to get to like him.

Oh I noticed Ward name wasn't part of the Main Cast name in the credit at the start, or anywhere else. I guess he is Recurring now.

  10. The dude just lost someone. it would be off if this even happened.

  11. Can't stand Hunter. He's useless, reckless and stupid. Dude's compromised two missions in two episodes and has gotten people killed. Not the greatest way to intro a new character.

  12. I was worried the premiere may have set the bar too high but I think this episode was even better than that one. It did pick up right where that one left off though.

I like that the HYDRA number 2 to Whitehall mention that SHIELD fraction is a threat........

  15. I liked this episode a lot, got some really nice character moments.

x Lance dealing with Izzy's death was interesting, it seemed he really had a history with her and whilst his actions may have been reckless you can get why he went of the deep end.

x I am fascinated with the Mack/Fitz dynamic, that was really great how he helped out our lost scientist. I hope we see more of them together either after Simmons eventually returns.

x The May/Coulson scene towards the end was perfect. I'm glad she fully knows what he happening with him and helping him with it.

x Hey Raina, hey Papa Skye. Creepy.

x Kudos to the show for not feeling the need to put Ward in every episode, use him when it makes sense.

x Still love the light comic relief Trip brings.

  16. Yessss, I ended up liking their interaction a lot (now to find some good fanfiction, or write it)

Disclaimer: I often say that shipping is the blight of fandom, any fandom; but as any pleasure, I mean the excess of it, the obsession over it, how it dominates fandom and how it ends affecting the show as creators try to pander to vocal shippers. Water may nourish a plant, but too much water will kill it.

  17. I'm too still a bit in denial about Isabelle, but all that talk of "giving her body a proper burial" seemed poignant, a bit overly so... Was there even a body to bury? mmmmm

  18. Oh man it was intense that promo killed what have you guys done to jemma Simmons and Leo fitz they were the cuties of last season
    I hope she's not hydra

  19. Jemma! your hair, it looks so lovely!!

    Am I deflecting? you betcha!

Am I crying into my pillow whispering "oh no whyyy please don't don't don't"? you know it!

  20. That was just good from start to finish. Love the different interactions.
Fitz is the best (and most heart breaking) part for me. And I think it is great that his intelligence does seem to be intact, he has apparently mostly a problem concentrating and communicating. Both things which might get better with training. Or never.
I wonder if Simmons is one some sort of secret operation.
A small detail I really loved is that Phil got rid of the different levels. I think we need more of that. We need to see how he changes SHIELD in order to make it better....and the levels are just stupid. Always have been.

  21. Another solid episode the AoS, I think was better than the premiere, I happy Raina is back and I looking foward to see more of Skye's father.

  22. loved it but that last scene with may and coulson felt like a drug addict and their enabler letting them do drugs but maybe it's just me, and man can coulson and skye become farther strained damn now they're just superior and subordinate geez even that joke he tried to make before she left the room about yoga makes me depresed and when he pulled rank on may wow, i'm glad that mackenzie talks to fitz normally and not fragile like the team and he actually helped, see fitz isn't that useless as coulson thinks and when he found out jemma left his brain could completely shut down when she comes back and she WILL be back, there is no way in hell that she's HYDRA, HOLY CRAP is skye's father terrifying, i was worried the actor wouldn't be able to exude fear but man he scares me, what was he cleaning from his hands

Great episode! I love the new guys on the team - they are awesome :-)

  24. I don't know, I think it's better than shooting them with a REAL GUN. But that's just me.
