  2. Is anyone excited to see what Cobblepot has to say to Gordon?

Ran into an laptop snag so won't be able to post review until tomorrow, but just wanted to share how I am really loving Robin Taylor as Cobblepot, and am anxiously awaiting to see of what comes of him letting Gordon know he is back.

  3. Does the sun every come out in Gotham? Like why does it have to be so dark all the time?

    Whoa at that ending.

  5. Loved it, this show gets better with each passing episode. At least to me anyway.

  6. The "Bat Man" universe has officially began in Gotham. Where else would someone's death read "Death by Weather Balloon" (lol)! Gotham is becoming darker and sicker, It's brightest are fading and it's worst are just beginning to rise. I'm really enjoying this series.........everything so far has been "top notch". 4 THE DARKEST KNIGHT IN GOTHAM, I am Nobody!!!

  8. It was okay. Still not hyped. But I'll extend it. What I really like is the little girl that plays Salina, I like her, and she keeps me interested. I think she plays her part very well. Liked the scenes withJim and Harvey getting info. I laughed when Harvey punched that woman (B/c he just doesn't take shit especially if his life is at risk), and when the woman got killed by the falling guy. I said "of course it has to be an old woman" typical but it worked. Still laughed.

I really didn't care for Barbara and w/e this chick's name is. That's how much idc of the show yet. I still don't know her name. But anyways the whole thing was predictable. A lot of fans called it last week, or maybe it was the pilot, I forget, idc, but they did. Personally I was hoping everyone was wrong, but nooo they went with the whole bisexual history, and the whole cliche of it all. I just found myself rolling my eyes. I was hoping it'd be bigger than that. I still hope it's bigger than that. Then some old secret love affair, and the cop was an AA, and Barbara has w/e skeletons in her closet from her "weed days" and the cop is still in love with her, blah blah blah. I want something more, so iI hope it was just a throw off to the bigger picture.

Oswald was good. Kinda want his story to get moving, by next week it looks like it will. I did laugh at his, "Can i have a tuna sandwich" line. But i'm ready to see more of Edward now.

  10. Barbara is not his wife (yet) and Montoya is not his boss. But I get what you're saying ;)

  11. Agree with everything you say, the show is decent and definetly has not lived up to expectations, but it is progressively improving episode by episode.
That actress who plays Barbara Gordon is so mechanical in how she delivers her lines and her facial expressions - it just brings the whole show down. They couldn't cast someone who can act? ugh

Great episode! It's really coming along nicely.

    * Like how they are developing Selina Kyle. She's plucky and wily. As a street kid she will inevitably experience more hardship which will lead her down here inevitable path towards crime and confrontation with Batman.

    * She doesn't get much love on these boards and I really don't understand why but, Fish Mooney is awesome! I know I'm being repetitive but Jada Pinkett Smith is playing her like a modern day Eartha Kitt as Catwoman which is very, very clever. In fact I very much see down the road Fish Mooney taking a young Selina Kyle under her wing and introducing her to the "business".

    * The sword fight between Alfred and Bruce was brilliant! One of the more subtle and clever Easter Eggs on the show as they immediately start talk about being a "detective". This is a clear allusion to Batman ("The Detective" as he's often referred to) eventually confronting and sword fighting with Ra's Al Ghul. Brilliant!

  13. It hasn't lived up to mine, that's for damn sure, and mine's weren't that high to begin with. Or high at all TBH, but ugh iI wanted to be proved wrong and I'm just not. I did enjoy the second episode. And so far that it. I'm not so bothered by "Barbara" but I'm very bothered by Jada. I can't stand her in this. And it's a shame b/c I like Jada, always have. But I can honestly say, I Hate Fish Mooney, and I don't like the way Jada is playing her at all. I don't like the way she delivers her lines, the way she moves, when she purposely does her high pitched tone, etc etc. I just can't, if I'm gonna stick with this show I really hope she gets better, or just kill her off, and if she gets killed off I hope it's by Oswald.
