    I've tried multiple times to enjoy this latest spinoff, but it's just not working for me.

    I personally think it's good for a show, however the problem that keeps me from actually enjoying it is that it's exactly a copy-cat of its mother show.NOLA is way too similar than NCIS and by putting it next to each other, I find that by the time I finish the 2nd hour of the night, my brain gets put into sleep mode and I don't even want to watch POI. Which is another drawback I'm having this year. I watch NCIS but then turn off the TV for an hour to do homework, but once 9:00 rolls around, I don't want to lose my focus causing me to watch POI on demand the next day. Many people criticize NCIS LA for not being like its mother show, but what made it special and successful in my opinion was its spy theme. IMHO, I really don't want this show to be renewed but it's going to be renewed anyways because of their covenant time slot.

    I'm also having a difficult time staying with this show. I think the time and effort put into NCIS New Orleans would be better spent on further development of NCIS LA. NCIS is a pretty rock solid show all on its own after all these years. As in the case of Law and Order, more is not necessarily better.
