    Yes, they'd met before, but their most memorable encounter is in the three-episode arc where Meredith drowns. Derek storms in and tells her "You killed her. You told her she was ordinary..." My gosh, Patrick Dempsey blew me away. Stellar acting.

    I think this is the only way he can talk to Mer. She's been acting like a spoiled brat since last season. It's like she went back to season 2, seriously! Where did her personal growth go?

    Neither Meredith or Derek are acting like adults i am so sick of this storyline, they just need to get there shit together and deal with it. I still think the comment is a low blow through everyone has a line you shouldn't cross and thats it. Especially since this isn't the first time that Derek has crossed that line, I also feel like he doesnt make comments like to reach her but because it's the best way to hurt her. You shouldn't use your knowledge of a person that way, its toxic.

    I have never been a fan of Meredith but my god, she has become unbearable. My mother always taught me that people who are nice to you but rude at the waitress are not nice people. Thats exactly how she is. Being rude and mean to Pierce for no reason before even knowing they were related, shes mean to interns and colleagues, and she is bitchier than ever. She was never charismatic but geez, now she is a real brat. Kinda hard to root for her.

    Think Derek is being an ass - Meredith is letting him go and do something he really wants to do but she wants to stay behind for her career - but that's not good enough for him he wants everything and doesn't know how to deal with it when he can't have it so he strops and behaves like a child Meredith is being he adult here IMO and think she was right last season he thinks his career is more important than hers, Meredith is right here not Derek he's not being very McDreamy trying to force her to leave and do what he wants by sulking and not being supportive.
