Hilarie Burton used to play a troubled teenager on One Tree Hill, but her latest gig is a far cry from the innocence of that role: The actress is set to play a dominatrix on ABC’s Forever.
Burton will guest for one episode as Iona Payne, a dominatrix who becomes a murder suspect when one of her clients turns up dead. She meets immortal doctor Henry (Ioan Gruffudd) during the investigation, and the two soon start falling for each other.
Burton most recently guested on Grey’s Anatomy as a charming doctor who got in between Callie and Arizona’s relationship. She’s also had recurring roles on CBS drama Hostages and USA procedural White Collar. Her episode of Forever will air on ABC Nov. 11.

Is it weird that when I read the headline I half expected Burton to play the same role she played on Castle?

ReplyDeleteDid anybody else think of Lady Heather (Melinda Clarke) on CSI? The episode summary sounds an awful lot like Lady Heather/Grissom's first encounter.
