Day eleven saw the ever popular Beauty and the Beast triumph over Alias, as well as Charmed knocking out Sleepy Hollow.
Today we see FRIENDS - 20 years old on Monday - take on zombie drama The Walking Dead. In our second poll, Hallmark's When Calls The Heart faces Almost Human.

ReplyDeleteJust Almost Human. I never liked Friends as much as everyone else and I've only watched the first season of The Walking Dead and have yet to decide wether or not to watch the next one, so I'll abstain from that one.

ReplyDeleteThis is hard! Chandler Bing or Daryl Dixon? I think this is my first real tough call. I don't like a lot of sitcoms but I loved Chandler. I don't like excessive gore over dramatic horror but I love Daryl. I may have to abstain. Nothing in the second one for me.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Hallmark Channel original I think, or Lifetime. I've never seen it but I've seen promo's. I'm sure it's Hallmark.
ReplyDeleteThis is only the second time since I joined SpoilerTV that I have never even heard of a show in a competition. When Calls the Heart must have a big following to get it into the contest. Good for them. Sadly the only show I am voting for today is going against them, so my vote goes to Almost Human, a show I wish had been renewed over The Following, which I hate. I will however check out When Calls the Heart when I get a chance. No vote in the other poll since I don't get the appeal of The Walking Dead and for me, Friends is overrated.
ReplyDeleteWhen Calls The Heart is my only vote today. I know that it will get trounced. To be honest, I was surprised to see it in this competition. I love this sweet little series. It's like a warm cup of tea on a cold day. When Calls The Heart is a period romance set in a coal mining town in Canada's Northwest Territories in 1910. It is similar in plot and tone to shows like Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, Christy, and Little House on the Prairie.

ReplyDeleteIt was surprisingly hard for me to choose between Friends and TWD but i went with TWD(between a good drama and a good comedy i almost always choose the drama). Nothing on the other pair of shows. Almos Human was pretty boring and what the hell is When Calls the Heart?

ReplyDeleteFriends and Almost Human. Every episode that has either the kid or the wife in it induces a sock throwing extravaganza and I can't say the word PIVOT like a normal person anymore because of Friends, so Friends wins my vote without any hesitation.

ReplyDeleteNever heard of When Calls the Heart. Just by the title, it's doesn't sound like something i'd watch. I like Friends, but honestly there no contest for me. TWD is my favorite current show.
