    I loved Danny and the Doctor arguing in the TARDIS, wonderful scripting and performance, and then the Doc thinking Adrian was Clara's boyfriend after dismissing Danny as a PE teacher...I do love how out of touch with humans this incarnation is, lol.


    I also went with 'Other' as I loved the River reference and him saying he had sulked and gone to live with otters for a month after a row with her. Only a quick line, but things like this make you realise that he is spending quite a bit of time away from Clara too while she is living her life. That, and his complete inability to take much notice of humans means him not recognising Danny Pink, or his name, more believable.

    I don't think he was with River since she is dead it probably happened when he was with the Ponds. In any case I loved that Adrian resembled the Eleventh doctor with his weird hair and bowtie.

    She died the first time he ever saw her (in the library as 10) and it hasn't stopped him seeing her ever since, lol. The Adrian mistake was pretty funny XD

    I meant he already used up all his time with her before she died in the library. That's why he was so distraught in the Snowman episode. He lost Amy and Rory and he had his last date with River in Darillium before she went to the library. In any case River being dead doesn't mean the Doctor can't spend time on his own without Clara. That was addressed in Listen.

    Of course, she's also made a couple of appearances since being trapped in the Library and I don't think we've seen the end of his adventures with River before the Library - it's been said a few times they meet in reverse order but tracking their respective timelines shows there's actually a bit more to it than that.

    I kinda like Danny prior to this episode but found him very irritating (almost whiny) in this one... never thought I'd say it but almost looking forward to Clara leaving if it's a means to have no more Danny Pink and that's a lot as I reckon Clara is one of the best companions ever.
