    The fuck is wrong with Lori? Oh God, I hope they find Carter fast because I am not here for that at all. Poor Elizabeth. But I don't understand Carter's logic. Would it have been okay for Lori to kidnap her if she wanted a kid? LOL, I'm confused.

    Noooo to the Max/Taylor break-up.

    Cannot wait for season two.

    i know 2015? how are we supposed to wait that long, for a second i thought Lori was going to go after armadillo because he was "new" but seeing her drug and abscond with Carter solidifies however Carter's dad is involved Lori is insane.

    David being dishonest about a relationship with Lori and it is possible that the picture was taken without David's consent and there was no relationship, does not mean that David was actually involved in the kidnapping. David would be guilty of a lie of omission by not revealing his prior relationship with Lori and that is pretty messed up because Lori would have been suspect number 1 when Carter was kidnapped but I find it a huge stretch that David was involved in some plot to kidnapped his daughter so he could write a book.

    Guess you are referring to Carter questioning if Lori even wanted her or if taking her was all about hurting Elizabeth and David? I dont think Carter meant that it was ok if Lori took her if she wanted a kid but maybe that was how Carter was able to rationalize what happened to her in her mind, that at least Lori loved me and took care of me and she really wanted a kid. Now Carter has to face the possibility that Lori took her for no other reason but to bleep over Elizabeth and David and I could see where that would be even more unsettling than what Carter had previously believed about her kidnapping.

    The moment I heard "it's from your mom" I knew the coffee was loaded with sleeping pills ( or bad pills idk) and the end would be this......
    I hope they find her fast and not in the season finale of season 2 because... just no.

    I think she meant just involved as in being in a relationship.
    My guess is that David was having an affair with Lori and that after Elizabeth got the twins, David broke it off. Which enraged Lori enough to stalk the family and eventually kidnap Carter.
    It doesn't explain why David didn't fess up with the police, but that is my best guess at this point.

    I was expecting a different ending (i.e. Carter finding out her father had an affair with Lori). And btw, Lori playing Psycho was a little disturbing.

    can i just say POOR ELIZABETH! that woman can't catch a break! i knew that lori was a raving psycho from the beginning, and this episode proved that. just when elizabeth and carter were finally bonding, lori had to turn her "daughter's" life upside down again.
    also, max and taylor are MFEO. made for each other. they have to get back together.

    After watching the pilot I thought that it will turn out, that Lori and David had an affair and that is why Lori did all this. After the finale I don't think they will go down that road. The stalker thing might be a way to wash Davids former sins clean and show how Lori is just a fragile person who somehow became obsessed with David and Elizabeth.

    My original thoughts after watching the pilot were that it had something to do with Elizabeth being a cop. Maybe a crime syndicate she was investigating decide to distract her by kidnapping her kid. But I quickly stepped away from that theory after the first ep ^^


    I think you are right, best guess now is that Lori first became obsessed/stalkery, then she seduced David and when that ended she became really obsessed and kidnapped Carter.

    Kinda expected something like this. The show is called Finding Carter for a reason. I feel bad for Elizabeth - she finally got her daughter back, and now she is gone again.
    I thought that Max was really mean to Taylor, even in his condition.
    Still think David is hiding something big.
    And I do hope they tell us why Lori kidnapped Carter and not Taylor. I've been waiting for this all season. Wonder why Carter didn't ask this question herself.

    I've been thinking that same thing all season. Why Carter and not Taylor. At first I thought it had something to do with Carter being the one "available" (alone in the yard or whatever) but now i'm thinking it's something more. I fully believe that David and Lori had something before and that is what led to this. like maybe carter looked the most like him or whatever....regardless, Lori definitely had her Crazy pants on this episode.

    I have a theory that maybe Carter looked like a "suitable" daughter more. Because Taylor has blond hair, which she definately took from Elizabeth. And its easier to pretend that it is your daughter when you got the same hair color. Or maybe in some crazy world Lori imaginated Carter as a daughter of her and David. He is the weirdest charecter in this show (Lori is crazy without a doubt, Elizabeth, who seemed like a monster in earlier episodes is actually cool and really loves her daughters). Thats probably the best theory I have.

    Well, its safe to say now that Lori doesn't care about anything but herself & her wishes. She knew that Carter had a good family now (with its own secrets), but still kidnapped her - again. Sooks like a sociopath to me. Or maybe they will explain her obsession on hurting Elizabeth & David in season 2.
