The Middle - Episode 6.01 - Unbraceable You

SUE AND BRICK HAVE TO SCRAMBLE TO CATCH UP WHEN FRANKIE DISCOVERS THAT THEY MISSED THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, AND SUE FINALLY GETS HER BRACES OFF,

ON THE SEASON PREMIERE OF ABC’S “THE MIDDLE”

Richard Kind Guest Stars as Sue’s Orthodontist, Dr. Niller

Two-time Emmy winner Patricia Heaton stars in this warm and witty single-camera comedy about raising a family and lowering your expectations. Middle-aged, middle class and living in the middle of the country in Orson, Indiana, Frankie Heck is a harried wife and mother of three who uses her wry wit and sense of humor to get her family through each day intact. Frankie works as a dental assistant, and her unflappable husband, Mike, is manager at the local quarry and her sardonic partner in the daily grind that is raising their average – yes, most definitely average – family.

In the season premiere episode, “Unbraceable You,” Frankie makes a giant blunder when she discovers that school started a week earlier than she thought, and Sue and Brick must scramble to catch up on the days they've missed and re-acclimate themselves to school life. Meanwhile, it looks like the “Year of Sue” might be starting off on a high when she finally gets her braces removed. Axl beats Mike at basketball for the first time in his life, and Brick gets creative in an attempt to find the perfect school book bag, on “The Middle,” WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Middle” stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Guest starring are Richard Kind as Dr. Niller, John Gammon as Darrin, Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue, Beau Wirick as Sean Donahue, Pat Finn as Bill Norwood and Brock Ciarlelli as Brad Bottig.

”Unbraceable You” was written by Tim Hobert and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

Forever - Episode 1.01 - Pilot

JOIN DR. HENRY MORGAN AS HE SEARCHES TO SOLVE THE PERPLEXING MYSTERY OF HIS IMMORTALITY, ON ABC’S NEW DRAMA SERIES, “FOREVER”

The Captivating Series Kicks Off Premiere Week with Two New Episodes on Two Nights – The Special Preview of the Premiere on Monday, September 22, and a Second, All-New Episode on Tuesday, September 23

What if you could live forever? Would you find it a blessing or a curse? Meet Dr. Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), New York City’s star medical examiner who has an unusual secret. He doesn’t just study the dead to solve criminal cases -- he is trying to solve a mystery that has eluded him for over 200 years: his own inexplicable immortality, on ABC’s new drama, “Forever,” which will be kicking off premiere week with two new episodes: a special preview of the premiere, on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), and a second, all-new episode on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), for its regular time period premiere, on the ABC Television Network.

In the premiere episode, “Pilot,” Dr. Henry Morgan’s exciting, adventurous and intriguing long life has blessed him with amazing insight and observational skills. So, when Henry and Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza) investigate a fatal subway collision, Jo not only is impressed, but her curiosity is peeked about who he is. Meanwhile, Henry soon discovers someone else knows his secret. He may not be the only “immortal” out there. But who is that person and what does he want? The one person who can inject hope into Henry’s life is Abe (Judd Hirsch), his best and only friend. Fate has brought the two men together and they share an unconventional bond. It’s just part of the captivating mystery surrounding Henry’s strange circumstances and his long search to uncover the cause of his condition and escape.

Henry and Jo combine to make a powerful crime fighting team. Each week, a new case and their budding friendship will peel back the layers of Henry’s colorful extraordinary past. Henry, with his charming wit, charisma and an eerie knowledge not just of police procedure but the whole culture, finds an apt collaborator in Jo. Her personal history thrust her into law enforcement, making her an outstanding cop who can connect with the criminal mentality. They both are hiding pieces of their lives and both have lost a great love, albeit Henry’s stretches back some years. Henry met his beloved Abigail during World War II. On the other hand, Jo lost her husband a year-and-a-half ago. She finds a sympathetic ear in Henry, but his “Sherlockian” perception and his straight forward, no nonsense approach to people both fascinates and frustrates her. How does this man know so much? Will she discover who the real Henry is?

“Forever” stars Ioan Gruffudd (“Fantastic Four”) as Henry, Judd Hirsch (“Taxi,” “Damages,” “Maron”) as Abe, Alana De La Garza (“Law & Order”) as Detective Jo Martinez, Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange is the New Black”) as Lt. Joanne Reece, Donnie Keshawarz (“Homeland,” “The Wolf of Wall Street”) as Detective Hanson and Joel David Moore (“Bones,” “Avatar”) as Lucas.

Guest starring are Barbara Eve Harris as Lt. Roark, Mackenzie Mauzy as Abigail and Lee Tergesen as Hans Koehler.
