Boardwalk Empire‘s Jeffrey Wright, Lost‘s Rodrigo Santoro and Raising Hope‘s Shannon Woodward have joined HBO’s sci-fi drama pilot from exec producers J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub and Bryan Burk and writers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
Additionally, Ingrid Bolso Berdal (Hercules), Angela Sarafyan (The Good Guys) and Simon Quarterman (The Devil Inside) have been added to the ensemble.

Really hope this gets picked up. Can't wait to see a sci-fi show on HBO and with JJ behind it it should be awesome!

She joined Dharma, did time traveling experiments in which resulted with her occasionally believing she was either a hurley bird or someone named Penelope Widmore --and in order to save her life, we had to upload her conscience in a android body now called Clementine Pennyfeather! XD
ReplyDeleteEven though I wanted Josh Holloway to have Santors role, I'm glad Santoro got this great material. He unforntunately had a jerky LOST role, but love him in some of his other works!
EW's role also sounds great, but my favorite is probably the description of IBB's character! "Berdal will portray Armistice, a savage fighter and brutal bandit whose ruthlessness with her victims is surpassed only by her abiding loyalty to her fellow outlaws."

I'm conflicted; on one hand I wasn't that interested in watching this since it's a J.J. Abrams show, but since it has Shannon Woodward in it I'll at least check out the pilot.
