  5. Easily Nikita or Chuck. Buffy and Angel were both great, but it's been too long (and the story's already been continued in comic form anyway), I didn't follow Revolution this season, I believe Fringe wrapped everything up IIRC, as did Dollhouse and Battlestar Galactica.

  6. I only watched Nikita, Lost, Revolution from these. Nikita´s finale was amazing, Lost had closure too. So Revolution only i guess. The show could have been much more interesting with some better actors, so i don´t mind the cancellation, but it is the kind of show you just need closure for

  7. Nikita and Chuck both could have awesome movies.
Revolution should have a movie or a miniseries to tie up all their loose ends, I know it's wishful thinking, but I really lived that show :(

    ReplyDelete
  8. Battlestar Galactica has already had a movie, two in fact.

  9. I would really love a Buffy/Angel movie. Not a reboot without Joss Whedons involvement. I'm thankful the one that was planned got cancelled. I would also like a a Supernatural movie. Bringing back Lucifer and John Winchester would be great.

  10. None. Case of Dead like me shows that making a movie based on tv series isn't good idea.

  12. Fringe, Chuck, BSG and Lost do not need movies everything was wrapped up nicely. I love those shows dearly but there is no need for anymore.

Buffy and Angel had great endings but as the comics have shown sometimes continuing isn't a good idea.

Now something like Pushing Daises which had a very rushed ending because it was cancelled before they could wrap up I wouldn't mind seeing as long as everyone was involved or we end up with a Dead Like Me situation which was awful.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Fringe and Chuck for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Just Fringe and LOST. Battlestar had an ending, i don't understand why its even up there?

I'm most surprised to not see Firefly listed.

    ReplyDelete
  15. But Veronica Mars was a fun movie that felt like old times with the characters.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would love an Angel movie, but only if James Marsters played Spike..I don't read the comics. Would like a Revolution movie also.

    ReplyDelete
  17. None of the shows in the poll, imo - the only one in the list that actually needs it is probably Revolution, I have come to understand it ended on a cliffhanger.

Chuck, Fringe, Lost, Nikita, all had one final season written as such, and the Joss Whedon shows (Dollhouse, Buffy, Angel) had perfect series finale that wrapped things up (he already has had one of his shows on the big screen, that's pretty cool already), it's not like these were harsh cancellations.

Now, if I was a multi-millionaire (next year, I hope), I would greenlight four films :
1 & 2 / Bored to Death and Party Down, two brilliant but cancelled comedies that lend themselves to the movie format, and they've been talking about getting them done for a while (though there has been no movement on either in 2014).

3/ Arrested Development, since the end of season 4 demands a follow-up, and Hurwitz said it was the first a of three-part act, so either that or a fifth season that would end things once and for all. To put a cork in it, as Tobias would say.

4/ Community, obviously, as The Prophecy foretold. Nothing can stop it.

  18. I haven't watch it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dark Angel and Legend of the Seeker!!!! because the ones on the list all had a "good" end (good as in "no need for more") but Dark Angel :( I will never get over it!

    ReplyDelete
  20. 1. Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles
    2. The 4400
    3. Almost Human
    4. The X-Files
    5. Revolution

Buffy, Angel, BSG, and Lost had endings. From my understanding, Fringe had an ending as well. Though i'm only in season 1, so i've haven't gotten to it yet.

I haven't seen Nikita, Chuck, nor Dollhouse yet. They are on my "To Watch" list.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why only 2? Ugh... I voted BSG and BtVS, but I want movies of Dollhouse, Fringe and Angel too.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have to disagree there, Dead Like Me movie was pretty disappointing without all the original cast but watching George finally reveal herself to her sister was worth it.
I think as long as they don't replace the original actors its fine, if an actor isn't available for the movie best just exclude the character.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Kyle XY or the secret circle imo.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Revolution, though I won't get to see season 2 until it is available on DVD... Dark Angel, it would be interesting to compare/contrast the world of 2020 it depicted back in 2000 with now, from the global financial crisis to America's status in global politics and foreign wars, Logan's streaming freedom broadcasts versus stuff like WikiLeaks, as well as advances in genetics and the use of surveillance drones by police forces. That last one in particular, it didn't seem that realistic at the time and now there seem to be drones with cameras flying everywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Fringe, and other (Pushing Daisies). Fringe has a very viable storyline for a movie, and Pushing Daisies needs to actually wrap things up, not just in a 2 minute sequence- as beautiful as said sequence may be.

A third choice for me would be Chuck: Simply didn't choose because, as much as I love it, Fringe and Pushing Daisies come first for me

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well I disliked BSG's ending (But I agree it was an ending) and considering Ronald Moore in recant interviews talks about scenes that was not in the finale (that are scenes that I think should of been-he mentions the exact thing now that I thought straight away was missing), I think there's a part of him that thinks there should of been more to it too! :p

    ReplyDelete
  27. I voted Revolution, because it was the one where I think a film is most needed, but I wouldn't mind films of Fringe, LOST, BSG, or another Firefly movie just for fun!

    ReplyDelete
  28. yeah as long as they get Peta Wilson... and not that Maggie Q chick... a La Femme Nikita
    movie would great....

    ReplyDelete
  29. I voted for Nikita and Dollhouse. At this point, Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel would have to be reboots because the guys who played vampires are getting on in age.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hmmm a lot of those shows deserve a new chapter. Just to see where the characters are now. Like what happened when those guys returned from the island.
I would love a Charmed movie, but with the inpending reboot happening don't think it will happen.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I disagree with you but I can totally see your point :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Angel and Dark Angel - two shows that ended abruptly.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I got so excited when I read #Fringe ! Fangirl here! xD

    ReplyDelete
  34. I would love an Angel movie, but I'd miss Lorne too much. Without Andy, I don't know. And all the rest of the original cast would definitely have to be there.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I liked the end of Fringe, I don't think it should be continued. It's one of the few shows where I was relatively happy about how it ended. Revolution on the other hand was definitely not satisfying, I hope it gets some kind of closure at one point. It was a great show.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That's interesting, I hadn't thought of Dark Angel in a while but it was a really good show.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I also think there is more, the story can continue even where it left off.I think it would be interesting to see what happened after they landed.... There is much they could cover but without the same actors it just wouldn't be the same... then again yeah,it could! :P

    ReplyDelete
  38. Most certainly, Chuck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. a lot of those ended pretty satisfyingly if i were to vote for a new tv show movie, it would be one that ended leaving me wanting like V with Elizabeth Mitchell or Pushing Daisies

    ReplyDelete
  40. Revolution ( though a movie wouldn't be enough )

    ReplyDelete
  41. I generally don't want ended shows to be revived into a movie (cancelled shows are a different story), but I voted Buffy and Nikita. Nikita kind of lends itself to a movie about some epic mission that gets the gang back together, and the ending implied that Nikita didn't just go into retirement; and Buffy's ending was open-ended, plus there are comics they could adapt to the big screen...and they could probably tie the Angel crew into it so I get a 2-for-1 lol.

Fringe had a good ending, so and I feel like any doors they opened in a movie would just leave me wanting more, I don't think Lost has any more story to tell. Didn't watch the other shows listed.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Desperate Housewives. I thought it is obvious!

    ReplyDelete
  43. An Angel movie would be awesome. A Buffy movie would be boring, imo. They're just off doing the same things they did in Sunnydale in other places. Angel goes full post-Apoc and does some really cool things with the characters.

Obviously I don't think they'd follow the comics 100% but they might use them as a guide.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I assume since Firefly already had a movie, Serenity; that's why it's not listed.

I would love a Fringe movie, like how Serenity was for Firefly.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would like at least a tv movie to wrap up the storyline (with a good ending) for both Kyle XY and Secret Circle.

    ReplyDelete
  46. From the list: Fringe.

Other: Stargate SG-1, Charmed, Pushing Daisies.

I listed the the ended TV shows that I MOST want a movie for. There are so many more TV shows that I'd love to get a storyline wrap-up for as well. Also, I don't necessarily need a bigscreen movie, even a low budget one, thought it would be nice (i.e., Firefly's Serenity). Many of the listed shows would work well enough as TV movies. I mostly just want a movie-length video venue to give a satisfying wrap up to the storyline, and/or to tie up loose ends, and give closure to fans.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Fringe has enough storyline potential to launch several direct-to-DVD movies, like Stargate SG-1.

Pushing Daisies needs at least a TV movie to wrap up the storyline better, although I am grateful they tried to give a little wrap up in the last episode. If I can be a little greedy, this is the one show that I'd love to be brought back to TV on some other network, with the same actors and writers, and at least the same production value, of course.

  48. DUH! :P I always binge watch Firefly and Serenity,i guess it just blends in as one,lol..

    ReplyDelete
  49. Go On! No, really. That was a sweet, one-season show that would fit neatly into a movie. A man is grieving after his young wife dies in an accident. He goes into group therapy, and finds solace in the friends he meets there. The movie ends when he is ready to finally move on. Perfect light comedy.

  50. CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm one of the crazy Chuck fans. :D

    ReplyDelete
  51. I only watched a little bit of Chuck, but it's another one of those shows on my 'need to find time to finally watch this' list! XD

    ReplyDelete
  52. I voted Chuck, I miss Chuck and the nerd herd, and Fringe they got so much more to cover

    ReplyDelete
  53. I really agree with you about Chuck, I no they kinda gave us a happy ending, but you're right after five years I agree we needed to see Chuck & Sara being awesome again!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Nikita and Fringe from the list.

    Off the list: Almost Human

    ReplyDelete
  55. It's a fun show, I think you'll enjoy it, don't worry u have my own 'to watch show' list which is decaying with time, lol. I try to get around to it :)
But I know 5 seasons, is something of a challenge, there's not enough time in the day :(

    ReplyDelete
  56. I've been waiting for a Dark Angel movie for over a decade.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I would really like a Atlantis movie, SG1 shows that they can have success with TV movies.

    ReplyDelete
  58. For this happy viewer.................Alphas and Nikita, please! Nobody, 4 NOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Fringe, Nikita and also Friends <3

    ReplyDelete
  60. Roswell, Dark Angel, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and some others shows I can't remember right now.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Chuck because honestly I want more closure with that one...and though the show is not over yet, I want a Supernatural movie...I would love to see car chases, amazing special effects (though the effects they have right now are pretty flippin awesome), but mostly I just want a big boss battle to finish the show, a war consisting of monsters, demons, and angels with the Winchesters smack dab in the middle of it, going down swinging!

Odyssey 5. I know it's been years since the show got cancelled but I could never get over the fact that the show ended with such a unbearable cliffhanger and I want resolution to the characters' fight to save the world.

    ReplyDelete
  63. You and me both! almost all the actors could do it :) lol I want THE OTP of my youth back on my screen (Max/Alec) and all the other amazing characters + Terminal City had so much potential.... :(

    ReplyDelete
  64. Aryam Manzueta Avila8 August 2014 at 20:40

Revolution! or maybe Terra Nova or The Tomorrow People

    ReplyDelete
  65. Fringe most definitely. I miss all the Walterisms. I would not mind seeing Revolution made into a movie, with some better writing to it. As for LOST, which is probably my second favorite TV show ever, the story was told. It was beautiful while it lasted, but it had a proper ending. No need for a movie to be made.
I would love to see David Lynch do a REAL Twin Peaks movie and not that Fire Walk With Me mess. But that will never happen.
